i am trying to put the picture inside a mask brush which i had downloaded but i'm having a hard time doing that. Everytime I paste the image I want to put inside the mask brush, it keeps pasting over the brush and the brush gets underneath the picture but i want to put my image inside the mask just as mutsie from Devian Art did here in the example provided below. I sawed the tutorial here on I-F which had 125 pages but I don't remember where I sawed the tutorial.I use Adobe Photoshop CS. I would really appreciate it if somebody can either provide a link to that tutorial or PM me the link or post a link or tutorial here.
here's the example I'm referring to:the mask brushes are below and on the top are the images used inside the mask brush. You know how this artist (mutsie from Devian Art) blended the image inside the mask, that's what I struggle with and need somebody's help. Thanks =]
When you duplicate a layer twice for example, how do you do different things with the first copy and others with the second copy and still make them lay over eachother? 😕 Did that make sense?
Kinda similar questions, but still.. How do you bring the original layer on top AFTER you've added effects on the pic?
^^ But when you copy-paste it on top of the new layer, you don't get it exactly right over eachother.. :S
Hmm.. I think I kinda explained the problem very difficult.. Like when a tut says - duplicate the layer, and do this and this with the duplicated layer. Then bring the first layer on the top and set it to for example soft light.. Like how do I bring the very first layer on top?
oh ok get it nowfirst you have your base(original layer)well when it says to bring your original layer on top what you have to do is after you add the effects on duplicated layer, you go back and choose the base layer and duplicate that and then drag it up to the top and set it to soft light😃basicallybase layer >> dulplicate it>> add effects on the duplicated layer>>choose base layer>> duplicate the base layer>> drag it to the top
