Okay here I go with my fan mix yet again. (For someone who claims to hate DMG storyline, I am kind of obsessed with this couple. This time I decided my songs just needed to be from Abhi's point of view (since I am not that into Nikki's character). Mostly they are rock songs, but I put some country songs because well someone asked me to, and I happen to like some country songs). The overall mood of this whole mix is rather sad, but there are some happy songs in the mix. Hope you enjoy :D Also there are more songs than last time, so during the last fan mixes if the pictures don't go with the lyrics, it's because I was too lazy to go hunt appropriate pictures down.


Well for the cover, I was too lazy to come up with anything and this seemed to fit :D

This song with the changing emotions from the girl, in my opinion, really fits well with Abhi and Nikki's relationship, not just in the beginning, but even what is happening right now. Also, Scott Weiland's voice is marvelous =p

Help!- The Beatles

But every now and then I feel so insecure,

Like the lyrics, this song really reflects Abhi's emotion about Nikki's presence in his life. When he is with her, Abhi seems to get down to a child's level rather than his usual maturity. Also, not only does he lose his cool, but he also seems to lose his self-confidence.

Pretty Woman- Van Halen

I think this song is the song that Abhi secretly longs to sing to Nikki, but he just won't.

My Way- Aaron Prichette

Through out their whole relationship, Abhi feels that he has to fight Aarman for Nikki's affection. This song is really about his insitency on showing Nikki that he is the one for her.

Wild Horses- The Rolling Stones

Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
This song is especially crucial towards the boxing scene between Arman and Abhi *I am going to put my two cents in and say WTF was that all about* At this time Abhi feels that Nikki has betrayed him and he does bascially call her a "sin and a lie", but he is still willing to fight to get her. Like the song says, wild horses *in this case, lover boy Arman* could not drag Abhi or his affection for Nikki away.

This is the scene that I hated Arman the most. It's right after he got pushed to the pool. But this song is more towards more Nikki because she always runs away from any conflicts in love and at this moment, she could have had spoken up and maybe Arman would not have humiliated Abhi so much. Nikki could have trusted to fall in love and that Abhi would catch her same as how Abhi fell down to the ground because he trusted Nikki to catch him, but she did not.


Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley

This song and the previous song are kind of two takes on the same scene. The song actually is to show the fall of Abhi as people are laughing at him as a result of Nikki's inaction.

Cannon Ball- Damien Rice

Stones taught me to fly

So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannonball

Not only did this scene happen couple of episodes behind the pool scene, the song also tells how he feels about Nikki (well select part of the song, because in reality the song is really a love song), which is of course Abhi still feels in reality.

Boys Don't Cry- The Cure

While the song I think is truly owned by Prem from KZK, this is still a rather appropriate song for this scene. In this case, Abhi is trying to not break down from what he precieves to be his fault in Nikki getting hurt.

Better As A Memory- Kenny Chesney

This is a song to reflect what has just happened with Abhi and Nikki, where there is a distance that has grown again as Abhi once again insists that Nikki call him Abhimanyu (I don't really know how to spell it). Also, its just a bittersweet song so yeah.

White Flag- Dido

I think that the song is pretty self explanatory.
