Why is Astha's opinion so important?

I cannot understand why Simran is acting as if Astha is a baby. She seems to need Astha's approval for everything. This is such bad parenting. No wonder Astha walks all over her and bully her into getting her way. Simran is ignoring the needs of her own daughter just so that Astha can deal with this. Astha needs to face reality and get a good shake-up and Simran has to stop treating her like an egg.

i understand what you are saying...but to simran aastha and sia are her own daughters... they are both the same to her. she is doing all this bc sia is more muture and aastha still thinks like a kid. it is they way she was brought up. aastha went thrw alot in very short time, and her behavior is normal. any person would act the same.... yes, she is being ailll tooooo mean but simran understand her and thats why she takes everything that aastha says or does.

I think, Simran needs to get her daughter's opinion. After kids grow up, parents cannot just throw their decisions on them, they have to make them agree to it or they have to listen to their kids.

But what Astha is doing to her mother is not quite right but Simran deserves it. It's her upbringing that is rebounding back to her. Gosh, I'm glad that Sia was abducted.😃
