Abhi and Simran meet after 18 years

Dr Simran and Abhi reunite

It's the moment viewers of Astitva — Ek Prem Kahani (Zee) have been waiting for. After a gap of over 18 years, Abhimanyu (Varun Badola) and Dr Simran (Nikki Aneja Walia) will finally come face to face in tonight's episode.

According to the current track, Abhi knows that Simran is attending the conference in town, and he wants to reveal the secret about their daughter to her. Ajai Sinha, the director for the show, explains, "Abhi and Simran's meeting is one of the most delicate moments on Astitva."

Sia (Upasana Shukla) finds out about her own past and comes to terms with it. "When Abhi realises that Simran is in town, he decides to confront her and reveal the secret about their daughter. Simran is totally shocked when she sees Abhi with Sia," says Sinha.

From here on, the track will start focusing on the love angles between the younger generation — primarily Sia, Aastha (Yuvika Choudhary) and Siddharth (Vishal Singh).

Says Sinha, "The talk that the show is wrapping up is totally baseless. Once the Abhi-Simran meeting happens, we conclude one phase of untold tales between the two."

Story wise there's lot to be told, "especially taking forward the twists between Sia, Aastha and Siddharth."

What happens on Astitva tonight

Simran seeks help from the police in trying to locate Archana. Nani informs Sia about Archana's accident and she rushes to the hospital. Archana is in a serious condition and she asks Nani to call Abhi.

Archana tells Sia the truth about her not being bought but kidnapped and this makes Sia very angry.

Abhi also reaches there and Archana hands over his daughter to him. Sia feels guilty for having harboured romantic feelings for her father but Abhi sets her mind to rest. Abhi asks Sia if she wants to see her mother, realising that Simran is in town that day.

He goes to the seminar and just as Simran finishes speaking he goes to her. Simran is shocked. Subsequently, she also gets to know that Abhi is Anand.

Hmm, i am really happy to know that Astitva is not ending. Though i wanted this to end, now i feel if it continues, the better. The reason behind this is that i do not want to lose this close knit Astitva family in IF...😛

Sree you are such a wonderful person and so sweet! I don't think this young generation story line will be that good 🤢!!!!!!! I still can not stand the young actors or the way the Inidan serials portrays them. I still can not take these two......Sia or Sid........Astha just wore herself on me but she is making me sick these days since we are behind India.

I HOPE THEY END IT WITH MANASA COMING BACK FROM AMERICA AND MARRYING URMILA.......SIMRIAN FINDS A NEW LOVE IN THAT FELLA SHE JOGS OR WALKS WITH AND ABI IS LEFT TO RAISE THE TWO BRATS. I HOPE RASHIMI HAS SOME KIDS. SHAGUNA STOPS WORKING AND LIVING HER LIFE (SHE IS SO FULL OF LIFE) WITH HER HUSBAND AND SO CALLED CHILDREN....MAYBE THEY CAN JUST TRAVEL. RADA MARRIES SIMIRAN'S DAD AND THEY LIVE WITH ABI PARNETS AND HAVE GRAND TIME TOGETER.👏👏👏
