Harsh informs Simran that the police have got some leads of a woman fitting the description in the countryside. Abhi and Harsh go with the police to the address and break open the house. The house is empty but it seems as though it had been recently occupied.
They find a few belongings of Aastha and Simran breaks down. One of the neighbours says that she had seen a woman with a little baby some days ago but yesterday the baby was not with her and the woman had said that her baby had died. Simran faints.
