* She lied to Astha for whatever reasons but she kept doing that

I'm sorry but did they do anything to bring Astha back home from Kiran's grip?
Were they able to contribute anything to the storyline besides the initial saas-bahu drama?
Did they give any good sanskaras to their son who was highly irresponsible and they were always helpless?

However you look at it, hiding facts is no less than lying and eventually we saw it did not serve the good purpose. Halk truth is a complete lie 😃.
