Sakuragi Kenji is a destitute lawyer and one-time member of a motorcyle gang trying to guide failing high school students with an average score of 36 into Japan's most prestigious educational institution, Tokyo University (Toudai).
Sakuragi Kenji, played by Abe Hiroshi in his first role as a high school teacher. This third rate lawyer soon becomes the homeroom teacher for the special advanced class aiming for Toudai University entrance. Hasegawa Kyouko costars as english teacher and Sakuragi's opponent, and Yamashita Tomohisa from NEWS and Nagasawa Masami also appear in the role of students.

@ sweet_kp : i guess i am like you too, however three of these shows are new and only few subbed episodes have been released so it works out well. only magicians of love (the whole series is available ) is complete. i finished it last night and am considering a new series "over the rainbow".
now for recommendations....i love summer x summer though i might be biased .what can i say...i am going through i-am-obsessed- with-joe-chang month 😉 . he looks extremely hot in this show.also it is hard to believe that this is the guy who played serious zhi shu in iswak(the only scene where he is like lei there is when he describes his kiss with ariel to ah zhi to irritate the heck out of him)...i guess that says something about his talent for acting. the show in beginning feels like an iswak rerun since the female lead is as dumb and obsessed with lei (joe chueng) as ariel lin was in iswak. however from 2nd episode she shows more backbone , her life does not revolve around lei and she does have plans for her future (other than lei). also she emerges as more mature person while it is lei (he is almost as devilish as mike ke in dby)who is immature.
magicians of love has an extremely cute cast including ming dao (who looks more mature here). this show is almost ektaish in its storyline. girlfriends of all the male leads seem to have interest in someone other than thier boyfriends but everyone is constantly in denial 🤢 . however if you like prince turns to frog you will like this one.

@ taheera : i have just seen one episode of mawang and well am still waiting for the hook however jjh is great in this show. he is slick and exudes an aura of evil and mystery around him.he is like a dangerous snake in this one. somehow he has managed to turn those warm/sad eyes in goong to cold reptilian like in this show. he is an another great actor who is looking extremely hot in this show.
one show i would recommend is my lucky star ...i don't know why but got hooked on it right away in first episode

@Pj: I watched summer x summer too & I agree, Joe rocks in it, especially the scenes where he's modeling 😳 But I find the girl quite annoying 🤢 which makes it really hard to sit through the episodes... I gave up by episode 5! I guess Joe's good looks were not enough to keep me hooked 😆 I can't wait to see ISWAK 2 though!

@sand: well all i can say is stick around, fun begins at episode 6 in the show summer x summer. lei insists that xia ya become his manager and they go on an outdoor location where lei meets his girlfriend. however he cannot stop caring for xia ya surprising everyone on the unit .xia ya too is more mature since she lets lei off on dates with his girlfriend and does not interfere. honestly i recommend you fastforward thru first 5 episodes and start watching from sixth.he has a whole ramp sequence in episode 8 where he ends up hugging xiaya ...the angle on camera is so perfect that joe looks like a greek god in that particular scene.
