Count me in. I have seen a LOOOT of shows...so many that I've lost count...and I don't regret it one bit. I think there are others who have been watching Kdramas for longer ( five years or more ), so there's no need for you to hide somewhere. 100 sounds like a lot but it really isn't.😳 If you keep watching for a couple of years, you'll easily exceed the 100 mark. The format of kdramas make it easier for people to keep watching one drama after another. I prefer this format of Asian shows ( K, J, TW and C ) to the seasons format of American shows. It doesn't take much time to finish one show and I can rewatch my favorite dramas whenever I want.
And kdramas come in all genres...that's a blessing for someone like me who loves everything from romcoms to melodramas to thrillers to action.
I first got introduced to kdramas in 2013 when someone told me about Playful Kiss. I watched a bit of it but didn't continue. I was hung up on something else at that time so I dropped it. After a break, I started again in 2014 with other dramas and continued. Later, I finished Playful Kiss but didn't like it at all. In fact, it's one of my most hated shows.😆
Watching Kdramas was a bit awkward at first. I obviously didn't understand the language and had to depend on the subs. I had no idea how to pronounce the names. But I got used to it quickly and I started picking up different words. Now Korean feels like my own language although I only still understand about 8-10%. I have even learnt Korean songs.
Anyways, Kdramas have become a staple for me...I literally can't live without them.

Playful Kiss for me was a bit different... I started K-dramas with the most obvious BOF after which I watched Playful Kiss and din't like it at all but recently when I got bored I re-watched few episodes of it and felt it wasn't that bad... but I guess BOF is the only drama I truly din't like even though it was my intro to K-D's...I too watch almost all genres but there's a single condition that it shouldn't take all of my heart... I couldn't watch Gaktisal as I felt too distressed after watching about 4-5 epi's... and I could hardly gather myself to complete The Princess Man... and also Nice Guy is another drama which was hard for me as I felt too bad for Maru
