I am quite happy with the ending...it's somewhat ironic how the father did get consumed by his own creation...the thing he feared the most..still happened .

There has been speculation about a season two but so far nothing is confirmed. I don't think he told her because her father asked him not to tell Yeon Joo what really happened to him. Chul probably honored her father's wishes.

I just finished watching the finale. Can't believe W is finally over.😭 What a ride a this has been. I never thought this show would make me cry buckets in the end. I am satisfied with how it ended but I found the epi sad for the most part despite being a happy ending. I wish Dad could have been saved somehow but it makes sense why he had to sacrifice himself. It's ironic that the man who once tried to kill his own creation at any cost finally gave up his own life to save him.

This has such a unique show that I was worried if they would be able to do justice to it in the end. But I think they wrapped it up beautifully. Not overloaded with sweetness, but a fitting end to the story...and the episode was beautifully shot and enacted.

All in all, W was brilliant and exciting. It wasn't flawless...the editing was bad at times and so was the direction. It went through a few bumps and was most likely affected by the Olympics. Characters like So Hee, YJ's mom and even Do Yoon to an extent were wasted. I think this is one drama that would have benefited from being pre-produced. But it's going to be memorable show for me. In terms of plot, this is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. There are still some unanswered questions...like, how the webtoon world came to existence...but I can live with that. Not all questions are meant to have answers and I don't know if the writer could have possibly come up with a perfect explanation. So I think it is better this way. The other world just exists...just like this one...and somehow the two got connected.

Now coming to the actors, I wouldn't say this is LJS's best performance till date...I can't actually decide which one of his performance I love the most...but he is brilliant in everything he does and he completely owned Kang Chul. This show and his character is going to be another feather in his cap

HHJ was perfect as YJ. She was so sweet and lovable throughout the show. And their chemistry is something else. 😳 These two really complemented each other in every way.

Soo Bong was such a fun and likeable character. The actor did complete justice to his role.

And lastly, Kim Eui Sang. He was brilliant as Dad and the killer.👏 He owned both the characters and really made me cry in the end.

This has been one heck of a journey. I had great fun watching, discussing and anticipating this show.

Now what I am going to do on Wed-Thurs nights? I suddenly feel empty.

Finally..finally watched the finale.
I would call it a satisfying end, neither happy nor sad. It's acceptable and honestly for a show like W which was fantasy in the first place, we got a 'digestable' ending is a biggg thing. I have seen Hollywood shows which do kachra of such 'fantasy' genre shows. I had kind of known in epi 15 that Daddy will sacrifice himself for the sake of YJ. Yes, there are unanswered questions( my list is very long too)..but that's the writer's choice what to tell and what not to tell..I read the analysis on dramabeans and mostly people are sad because they felt that it's writer obligation to give them answers when it's her 'choice' not obligation. That's fiction/fantasy where things are sometimes deliberately left unanswered. It's the same as no matter how many times that Crazy Dog calls 'W' a piece of sh*t and gives his own suggestions to Daddy but in the end it will remain Daddy's choice. So I am tou very happy because after a loong time, I got to witness a "hatke" show. W will remain in my top most loved shows list until something better takes it place.

I am still not out of it .

I love W . I love Jong Suk , i love Hyo Joo and I love my honey couple .

I have rammaged all kiss BTS scenes and i want Honey couple to have Kiss Kiss awards coz they r so confertable kissing each other

W ending was bitter sweet . it bacame more of a daughte father love story and hero heroine love story in end

A story where writer goes crazy in the end . He is so much into character of villian ,that even after ending his character in webtoon he cannot erase the villians memory in his mind. and attempts to kill his own daghter !!

At the end loving father decides to kil himself for his daughter coz he knows sooner or later he would try to strangle her .

But before he goes he gifts his daughter a life time partner ,a man on whom she can depend on , a man who would be strong enough to challange the destiny in case his daughter is effected.

So in end we see our hero heroine kissing each other and dreaming of their future life happily ever after
