Alright! Here's is my review!
Park Shin Hye made me cry!! I cried a lot more here with her character than in Flower Boy next door! She has certainly taken her acting skills to another level in this one!
I am actually disappointed w/ LMH! Maybe it is the reason that he has already played this kind of character in BOF! The only difference is that in Heirs, he isn't a jerk to the female lead character Park Shin Hye yet!
And the worse part is Krystal's acting made me cringe! God it was awful! I wish she would improve
as the shows goes on!
Apart from LMH w/ his lack luster acting in the 1st episode, his English did get better as the episode progressed, but that is understandable!
I am actually very curious and excited to see the other male lead character Park Shin Hye, which is Kim Woo Bin (the guy who was bullying)! He is curious about the delivery girl lol!! I will not lie I am lot more excited about that pairing than LMH and Shin Hye! But, I won't deny that LMH and Shin Hye do have decent chemistry! If it improves I may change my stand point, but excited to see how Kim Woo Bin fits w/ Park Shin Hye!
God, Park Shin Hye's sister is awful! I totally cried especially in that restaurant scene, and also in the end! Congo to Park Shin Hye! I am full of praises for her! She totally surprised w/ her growth!
Now, I liked Choi Jin Hyuk (he seems a bit of negative character), but still what is not to love about that guy! I am just crazy about him since Gu Family Book!
All in all, apart from the cliche here too the rich guy LMH will fall in love w/ poor girl PSH! For some reason, I wish I see LMH growing! He really isn't! I don't see much of growth in his acting skills! He did impress me in City Hunter! But it feels like this role is just downplaying maybe his growth! It feels like I am seeing the same BOF in him except less of a jerk!
I sense lots of badass bitchy characters in this drama, and for that I am excited! But, all in all it was an okay decent introductory to all characters in the 1st episode!
I am BIG time disappointed how they stereotyped the Americans here! I was like NOT AGAIN!
All in all, I am just super happy for PSH, even though I am not a fan of hers at all, but SHE was the only unexpected surprise for me! She actually surpassed everyone in the acting skills department in the 1st episode!
Hope to see some improvement and complexity in LMH's character! B/c otherwise it like the same old thing! LMH needs to bring out more in his character otherwise I won't be impressed!
