JYJ's Jaejoong and Song Ji Hyo cast for comedy film, 'Jackal is Coming'

JYJ's Jaejoong and Song Ji Hyo have been cast as the lead characters for the upcoming film, 'Jackal is Coming'!

On April 20th, C-JeS Entertainment confirmed that the two completed their first script reading on the 18th and are preparing to begin filming for the movie.

Having already had his acting talents recognized through his drama, 'Protect the Boss', Jaejoong will be expanding his acting career this year by taking on both 'Jackal is Coming' and his MBC drama, 'Time Slip Doctor Jin'.

A representative of C-JeS Entertainment expressed, "Upon reading the scenario for 'Jackal is Coming', Jaejoong himself showed an interest in trying a comical character. As it is a comedy film, he said that he wanted to portray his character as humorously as possible."

They continued, "Song Ji Hyo also has strong affections for the film. Since it will mark her first big screen comeback in a while, she's expecting to have a lot of fun on the set."

'Jackal is Coming' is about a clumsy killer (played by Song Ji Hyo) who kidnaps a popular singer and tries to murder him in various ways while keeping back the police.

TVXQ Yunho's fans build a library in China in his name

Fans of TVXQ's Yunho have opened a 'Yunho Library' in China.

A message was recently written on an online community site with the title, 'Have you received this kind of a birthday gift?'.

Fans of Yunho have been planning to build this library for a long time coming, and it has finally opened on March 24th.

Fans explained the purpose of the library by saying, "Jung Yunho is a kind, warm, passionate and honest young man, and therefore we have respect for our idol. Because of him, our hearts have been moved numerous times."

The library is located on the second floor of Chungam Elementary School, and the library provides students with books, bookshelves, desks, writing supplies, and more. The fans also handed the teachers and the principle a door plate that reads, 'Yunho Library'. The library includes 1,688 books.

Netizens who heard the news remarked, "Yunho's fans are amazing. The library is awesome", along with "Yunho must be so proud", and more.

OMGGG, SWAHA, I SAW DID!!! I would've totally missed it had you not posted the message on FB. I sat in front of TV totally glued to the screen for 2 long hours and FINALLY, Remo's performance came and I was like 'WOAAA'😲 Even though the piece was edited to make it short but Yunho's voice was in it and I was literally jumping around😆 Keep your head down.. So amazing!!! And double yay for our girl who won😉

TVXQ's first Japanese Tour as 2 member duo group draws in 550,000 fans and $90 million in sales

Although they may have decreased in number, their fame and popularity have not waned. 2-member group TVXQ put on a concert for 45,000 of their fans at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on April 23rd. This was their final performance of their Japanese Tour that began this past January. Their 26 performance tour covered 9 cities in Japan including Yokohama, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and more.

This tour was the very first independent concert for TVXQ in Japan, after three members left to create JYJ in 2010, leaving just Changmin and Yunho remaining.

TVXQ's agency SM Entertainment remarked, "550,000 fans in total were present at all 26 performances, which is the largest crowd drawn in by a Korean artist in both Korea and overseas for a concert tour. The sales total for the tour if you combine ticket sales, merchandise, and more is estimated to be around $90,000,000 USD."

As soon as the performance began, the audience members began waving their glow sticks in the air. TVXQ performed 20 songs in total at the event, beginning with "Rising Sun" which they released in 2006, "B.U.T", "Superstar", and more. Yunho even emulated the mannerisms of a popular Japanese comedian, evoking laughter from the numerous Japanese fans in the stands.

Thousands of fans began waiting outside the Kyocera Dome before the doors opened, and one fan remarked, "They are good looking and buff… I can't even list all the reasons why I like TVXQ."

There were also some older female fans that were in their 50's and 60's. A 62-year old fan from Yamaguchi, Japan said, "TVXQ is loved by fans of all ages, not just by the young people."

The audience members stood on their feet for the entire 3-hour performance. Whenever the intro to a ballad song began playing, fans from each corner of the venue would shout "I Love You!" in hopes to be heard by the boys, and when they performed their encore song "Somebody to Love", all 45,000 fans seemed to sing along with the lyrics.

"I'm so happy I got to see Yunho in person," another fan remarked. "They had a Fukuoka concert in February, but I'm so glad I came to see them again."
