Next morning they leave for Mumbai . Arjun wasn’t leaving Riya’s side. They had first scheduled an appointment with the doc and then to meet Riya parents .

In the doc cabin ,

Doc : hello Riya what brings you here again ?? Arjun sounded so worried .

Riya : actually I was on a mission and 3 of my wounds have got infected.

Doc : come I will check it .

The doc did the complete check . Though infection could push Riya’s recovery back still she requested not tell Arjun about it .

Doc: Riya Arjun everything is fine .

Arjun : fine ?? You said infection hona will be bad for recovery.

Riya : arjun relax

Arjun: tum toh kuch bolo hi mat .

Doc: mein bolu .

Both turned towards the doc .

Doc : arjun I said ab jo Hogaya it’s done . I have started the medication again and Riya ab no more excuses or taking it lightly .

Riya : yes doc .

Doc : when are you coming back from training ?

Riya : 15 days mein.

Doc : ok tab Tak kuch serious ho toh mil Lena .

Arjun : ok doc . Thank you

In the car ,

Riya held on to Arjun as Arjun was in sadu mood .

Riya : kya hua Arjun ??

Arjun : Riya I am very upset you know I can’t bear those wounds on you anymore tumhe kuch ho jata toh .

Riya : ese kaise ho jata acp rawte ..

Arjun : not funny .

Riya : arjun we are police officers . Aap bhi toh mission pe jate ho. Toh mein toh apne dil ko sambhalti hoon na .

They just stared at each other with immense love . They knew this marriage is no more just a marriage they have grown from being friends and more .

Arjun : chale ma baba will be waiting . But mujhe etf report karna hoga for case . So tum ruk jana ,raat ko sathme ghar chalenge

Riya: yes sir .

Ariya at Riya parents .

Arjun quickly met them and left for etf .

Reema: Riya ab beitho aur batao mission kaise raha?

Gautam : Riya Tum training mein thi toh mission ??

Riya : wooh baba hua yun ki ( she explained everything)

Aur etf , mere seniors aur Arjun aa gai and mission accomplished.

Reema: ab toh rukegi na ? Riya hum bohot khush hai Arjun aur tumhe lekar . Bohot pyaar karta hai arjun tumse .

Gautam : ha itne dino mein Humne use bohot pareshan aur proud dono dekha hai .

Riya wapas akar ek break le lo. Infact hum soch rahe the tum dono honeymoon kyun nahi jate .

Reema: ha Riya you have grown stronger as a person now it’s time to be his wife too .

Riya : ma baba . Mere scars Abhi bhi dekhte Hai. I get to forget it Thoda bohot kar leti hoon but when it comes to Arjun and my life I get sceptical .

Gautam and Reema together : don’t you know Arjun enough Riya .Do you think he even bothers about it.

Riya : but I do ma . Ma Chalo jaldi se achcha tasty khana khilao .

And they spent rest of the day chatting and enjoying .

Arjun came before dinner time ..

Gautam : arjun tum bhi yahi ruk jao.

Reema pulls Gautam to a corner . Kya app bhi it’s time they spent some alone time together. Let them go .

Arjun : baba mein kal aunga aur Riya ko bhi yahin chod jaunga

Riya : no no aap dono wahin aa Jana . I need to check how is the condition of my house .

Arjun: excuse me you think I won’t take care of the house .

Riya: ofcourse Arjun apko time hi nahi milta hoga . I will get the things done tomorrow.

Arjun : don’t forget to rest .

Gautam and Reema: Bilkul .

Ariya reaches home .

Riya: finally I m home . Our home .

Part 15

When Riya entered the house . Arjun closed his eyes . The house was indeed a mess . She tumbled over a pile of clothes on the sofa . Dirty , clean and ironed all three together .

She walked ahead to see the kitchen and room a mess too.

Arjun : mein karne hi wala tha but case aagaya. Then again wooh .

He turned around to see Riya standing there angrily with a broom and a mop .

Riya : really Arjun ?? You did this to our house.

Arjun : sorry .

Riya : you will clean the living room till I take care of the room and kitchen .

Arjun : badme karte hai Riya it’s 11 pm .

Riya : sorry no cleaning no sleep .

Arjun : Riya seriously

Riya : are you doing it or not ??

Arjun : are you threatening me ?? Etf ka second in command hoon . ACP nu mein .

Riya : app wooh sab iss ghar ke Bahar I rule this place do you get me .

They started cleaning and finally after 2 hrs it was a decent place to live in .

They fell on the bed exhausted.

Arjun : happy??

He turned to Riya and she was fast asleep.

He pulled a cover over her. She just turned around and held on to him.

Riya : I am home .

Arjun : we are home .

Next morning , Riya made break fast for everyone and invited etf and her family.

They had a lovely time chit chat time and everyone saw Ariya happily doing things together .

Ayesha : Sameer I think you should talk to Arjun . I can clearly see he has fallen for Riya .

Sameer : I can see it too ayesh Infact I was thinking Riya wapas aye phir lets send them for their honeymoon.

Shree : sir hum unhe yeh surprise de ??

Chotu : ha hum booking kar denge warna koi case aa jayega n then sab gone .

Sameer: done shree chotu get on to it .

Sameer pulling Ayesha to him .

Sameer : after they come back I want to take you on a vacation .

Ayesha : I would love to .

Riya : ayesh yeh sanya nahi ayi . I invited her too .

Ayesha : ha she said usee much personal kaam hai .

Arjun : ab sanya ka bhi pata Lagana padega .

Riya was in the kitchen where Arjun saw some blood on her back .

Everyone was leaving so he waited .

Arjun : Riya your back is hurt .

Riya : kya ??

Arjun : back mein blood hai .

Riya : I will get it .

Riya struggled and finally decided to call Arjun .

Riya : I need your help

Arjun : kya hua ??

Riya : yeh aap kar doge . I can’t reach .

Arjun slowly lifted her t shirt and did the dressing .

Riya was in pain and she held on his hand .

When it was all done .

Riya hugged Arjun .

Riya : arjun kab sab khatam hoga . I always feel I left it behind . But yeh wapas aa jata hai . Iss blood ke saath wooh sara dard wapas aa jata hai .

Arjun. : Riya every thing is fine . You strained yourself cleaning yesterday and subah se kitchen mein ho no rest . You were on a mission 2 days before n then you are constantly running . .

Riya : kya aap aaj chutti le sakte hai ??

Arjun : mein Kahin na ja raha ok . I vl just tell Sam .

Arjun called Sameer and informed him he won’t come to office till Riya goes back the next day.

Sameer : sab thik haina ?

Arjun : she needs me and I don’t want to leave her side .

Sameer : ok take care aur use Nasik drop karke ana .

Arjun : ha

Here Riya was again feeling hurt, guilty and under confident.

Arjun came in an settled slowly with Riya on the bed .

Arjun : Riya just forget everything and rest .

Riya just hugged Arjun .

Riya : arjun kya kabhi bhi kuch normal hoga. Humari shaadi hue , normal logo jaise nahi par hue . Tab se lekar aaj Tak bas aap ne mera khyal rakha . Badle mein meine kya Diya . Na saath na patni hone ki khushi . I choose to go for a training leaving you behind .

Arjun : Riya normal shaadi se kya matlab ?

Have you seen our journey ??. Riya sab kuch sirf is baat pe depend nahi karta ke dono logo ke beech physically kaisa rishta hai . It’s more important that we understand each other tabhi yeh rishta masbut hoga . Humari shaadi ke baad we understood each other we gave our relationship the time it required to bloom . Aur training choose ki toh kya galat kiya if mere liye esa kuch hota toh I would have gone too and you would have never said no .

Riya : yeh sab apne mere liye keh rahe hai .

Arjun : hamare liye .

He just kisses her forehead and her cheeks and waits for her response to take on her lips . Seeing her eyes closed in submission, he closes and the distance between them taking her lips into his . He poured in all the emotions he had .

She could feel it too. Finally they broke and opened their eyes and just kept staring at each other .

Arjun : agar yeh tumhe yakin dilata hai ki I am very happy and proud to be your husband I don’t mind doing it again . Mein bas iss liye wait karna chahta tha so that you are also ready for the same.

Riya : arjun I was scared seeing my scars . You haven’t seen them yet but I have and it’s horrible . I don’t want them to scar on my relationship with you .

Arjun : Nasik se aa jao jaldi. Phir sare scars par mein personally dhyan dunga .

Riya shyed down and rested on Arjun chest.

Arjun ( when you come back I vl surprise you with my confession. Abhi I don’t want you to lose your focus on your training )

Riya : ( after coming from Nasik Arjun and our relationship will be my only priority. I will confess him that I have fallen in love with him . But kya Arjun bhi mujse pyaar?? Of ho Riya Abhi toh Arjun ne prove kiya . Ese thodi na kiss karte mujhe )

Arjun; Riya let’s go out shopping and a movie ??

Riya . Good idea .

They spent entire day together .

Arjun : Riya I will come and drop you to Nasik tomorrow.

Riya : arjun it’s ok mein chali jaungi.

Arjun : no way I had a word with Sam . I m coming with you tomorrow.

Next day they started early and reached the academy before the drills started .

Arjun : Riya jaldi se sab finish karke aa Jana .

Riya : ha . We just have 12 days more Arjun . Arjun kya mujhe etf mein wapas joining milegi ??

Arjun : tum aa jao then vl see .

Arjun left for Mumbai and Riya started her training.
