Chapter 12

Ayesha took crying Arya to her room to get her change. After 15 mins Sameer and Arya left for the hospital. They went inside. As soon as Arya saw Riya she went running towards her. She just hugged her and hid herself in her chest.

Riya : Kya hua bacha aap ro kyu rahe ho ??

Arya say nothing but hugs her more tightly if possible.

Sameer : Pata nahi kya hua hai isse jab se uthi hai tabse roi jaa rahai. Chup hi nahi ho rahi. Ab tu hi sambhal isse.

Riya : Acha main isse dekhti hu aap ghar jaiye.

Sameer : Par tu akele...

Riya : Main sambhal lungi aap jaiye.

Sameer : Thik hai tu mujhe phone kar dena thik hai.

Sameer left from there. After sometime Arya becomes quiet. Riya unhugged her and kissed her forehead.

Riya : Ab batao aap kyu ro rahe the?

Arya : vo.. maine sap..sapna dekha ki Ay... Ayan ko ku..kuch ho..hogaya hai. Mumma Ayan ko kuch na..nahi hoga na.

Riya just hugged her.

Riya : Kuch nahi hoga Ayan ko tum tension mat lo.

Arya : Mumma kuch puchu aapse ??

Riya : Haan beta pucho na.

Arya : Mumma wo uncle kon the jinhe apne hug kiya tha. Bolo na mumma kon hai vo uncle??

Riya : Arya wo jo uncle haina vo aapke papa hai.

Arya : Wo mere papa hai.

Riya : Haan beta vo aapke Papa hai.

Arya : Toh wo hamare sath kyu nahi rehte jaise hamare friends ke papa rehte hai unke aur unke mumma ke saat?

Riya : Wo kya haina baby aapke papa na kaam mein bahut busy hote hai unko na kabhi yeh country toh kabhi dusri country mein jana padta hai.

Arya : Ab vo humare saat hi rahege na mumma.

Riya : Pata nahi beta main unse baat karke dekhti hu.

Arya : Mujhe unse milna hai.

Riya : Beta abhi nahi wo andar hai. Ayan ko blood ki jarurat haina toh vo usse blood de rahe hai tho hum unse nahi mil sakte, hum unse baad mein milege.

Arya : Thik hai, mumma mujhe nind aa rahi hai.

Riya : Thik hai aap so jao.

Arya hugs Riya and sleeps in her arms. (Nothing is more comfortable than sleeping in mom's arms ❤️❤️)

Inside the room.

Arjun : Aaj aur uss din mein kitni samanta haina. Uss din bhi Riya aise hi rote rote mujhe gale laga liya tha hospital mein. Aur aaj bhi 6 saal baad mujhe meri Riya ne gale lagaya bas dukh itna hai ki apni khushi se nahi... Wo din meri zindagi ka best din tha.

Flashback.

Ariya went inside the room.

Riya goes to her father and hugs him. He hug her back. Arjun was just watching the father and daughter duo.

Riya : Kya ho gaya tha papa aapko? Pata hai main kitni dar gai thi.

Rakesh : Main ab bilkul thik hu beta. Tum tension mat lo. (Saying so he kiss her forehead)

Then Rakesh turns towards Sameer.

Rakesh : Tum Arjun Rawte hona.

Arjun : (surprised) Haan par aapko kaise pata main aaj aap se pehli baar mila hu???

Rakesh : Tumhare Nanu Jaiprakash Rawte vo mere pita samaan the. Wo hamesha tumhari baatein kiya karte the.

Arjun : (in mind) Agar pita saman hote toh aap log unki jaan nahi lete.(to Rakesh with a fake smile) Ohh

Doctor came inside the room.

Doctor : Mr. Mukherjee aapki reports aa gai hai.

Riya : Kya likha hai doctor reports mein?

Doctor : I'm sorry to say but Ms. Mukherjee aapke Father ko brain tumor hai. Unke paas bahut kaam waqt hai.

Arjun and Riya were shocked but Rakesh was having cum expressions on his face. Riya looks at her father.

Doctor : Yeh kuch dawaiya hai aap unke liye laa dijiye.

Rakesh : Uski koi zarurat nahi hai doctor meri dawaiya hai mere pass.

Riya : Papa yeh aap kya keh rahe hai?

Rakesh : Doctor kya main apni beti se akele mein baat karna chata hu kar sakta hu.

Doctor : Ya sure why not. Main chalta hu.

Doctor and nurse went and Arjun was also going but Rakesh stopped him.

Rakesh : Arjun beta tum kaha haa rahe ho?

Arjun : uncle abhi apne hi toh bola aapko Riya se akele mein baat karni hai.

Rakesh : Haan karni toh hai par tumhara yaha rehna bhi bahut jaruri hai.

Arjun : Thik hai uncle.

Riya : Aapko pata tha ki aap ko tumhara hai?

Rakesh : Haan mujhe pata tha.

Riya : Kab Se??

Rakesh : Pichle 3 mahino se.

Riya : Toh aapne bataya kyu nahi?

Rakesh : Kyunki main tujhe tension nahi dena chahta tha. Uss waqt tere college ke final exam chal rahe the. Aur agar main us waqt tujhe yeh sab bata de ta toh iska shidha asar teri padhai pe padhta aur main teri padhai ke saat koi compromise nahi kar sakta tha. Usake baad mujhe muka hi nahi mila.

Riya burst out in tears. She hugged Rakesh and cried her heart out. After she cum down they parted. Rakesh turns towards Arjun.

Rakesh : Arjun main tumse kuch chata hu kya tum mujhe doge?

Arjun : (in mind) Mera sab kuch toh aap chin hi chuke hai ab main aapko kya de sakta hu. (To Rakesh) Haan uncle boliye na main kya kar sakta hu aapke liye.

Rakesh : Main chahta hu ki tum meri Riya se shadi karo.

Shock will be an understatement for Arjun and Riya.

Chapter 13

Rakesh : Main chahta hu ki tum meri Riya se shadi karo.

Arjun sits on a stood nearby. Riya sits near Rakesh on the bed.

Rakesh : Dekho bacho main janta hu ki tum dono ke dusre ko ache se nahi jante. Par meri baat suno. Main, Rama (Riya's mom), tumhare Papa Vivek aur tumhari mom Vishakha hum charo college ke dost the. College khatam hone ke baad hum logo ne shadi kar li. Phir main tumhare nanu ke company mein kaam karne laga. Thode time baad Vivek aur Vishakha Delhi shift ho gaye vaha ka business sambhalne. Fir tum log humari zindagi mein aaye. Do saal pehle jab Vivek aur Vishakha yaha aaye the tab hum logo ne tay kiya tha ki hum log tum dono ki shadi karenge. Aur yeh baat karne ke liye mere dono bhai aur bhabhi bhi yaha aaye the Mumbai se. Tab Vivek aur Vishakha ko bhi Mumbai jaana tha toh wo log unhi ke saat flight mein chale gaye. Aur unka plane crash go ho gaya aur wo log humein chod kar chale gaye. Phir Jai uncle ki bhi yahi icha thi isliye unhone Rawte industry ke 51% shares Riyake naam kar diye.

Riya was surprised.

Riya: Yeh kab hua papa aap mein se kisi ne mujhe kuch bataya kyu nahi?

Arjun : (in mind) Matlab Riya ko iske baare mein kuch nahi pata tha. Magar yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai yeh mere samne natak kar rahi ho.

Rakesh : Dekho beta tum dono apna time leke mujhe apna faisla bata do. Yeh koi zabar dasti nahi hai.

Arjun : Thik hai uncle main aapko soch ke bata dunga. Ab main chalta hu. Aap Apna khayal rakhna aur Riya aap bhi.

Riya: Thik hai chaliye main aapko bahar tak chod deti hu.

Arjun : Nahi abhi aap yahi uncle ke pass rukiye main chala jaunga. Uncle ab main chalta hu.

Arjun touches Rakesh's feet and leaves from there.

He came out of the thoughts by the sound in the surrounding. There he saw Riya standing out the door. There was a nurse in the room so he called her.

Arjun : Nurse bahar jo lady khadi hai aap please unhe undar bulaye.

Nurse : But sir aap abhi kisi se nahi mil sakte.

Arjun : Please unhe under bhejiye.

Arjun insists the nurse goes outside and calls Naina.

Nurse : Suniye ma'am aapko vo sir bula rahe hai.

Riya: Thik hai.

(Note :- Arya was still in Riya arms)

Nurse : Ma'am ek kaam kijiye bachi ko mujhe de dijiye aap chali jaiye.

Riya was giving Arya to the nurse but she tightened her grip on her.

Riya: Rehne dijiye abhi abhi soi hai. Vaise abhi Ayan kaisa hai.

Nurse : Wo abhi under observation mein hai par improvement dikh rahi hai.

Riya closed her eyes in some relief. Then Riya goes inside the room. Arjun saw her coming in but was confused why she was holding a girl in her arms. Many questions were roaming in his mind now. Riya came near him and sat on the stool near it. Riya could read confusion in his eyes seeing Arya with her. Arjun was about to say something but was cut off by her.

Riya: Pata hai tum kya puchna chahte ho. Yeh kon hai aur yeh mera godh mein kyu hai?

Arjun just nodded his head in response.

Riya: Tumhari aur meri beti hai Arya. Aur wo jise tumhara khoon diya hai wo humara beta hai Ayan, Arya ka judwaa bhai.

Arjun was feeling mixed emotions, happy, sad, shocked, and whatnot. He was a father of two kids and that too around 5 years old and was unaware of their existence.

Arjun : Yeh.. tum kya keh rahi ho. Main kuch samajh nahi matlab...

Riya: Mujhe pata hai tum kya soch rahe ho, tumhare man mein bahut sawal hai, par abhi main un sawalo ke jawab nahi de sakti.

Arjun : Thik hai hum baad mein baat karenge iss baare mein. Kya main ek baar Arya ko dekh sakta hu.

Riya: haa ek min ruko.

Riya carefully loses Arya's hold from her and shows him her face.

Arjun : Yeh kitni cute hai aur sote hue kitni pyari lag rahi hai.

He was admiring her face when he noticed tears stains on her face.

Arjun : Yeh ro kyu rahi thi??

Riya : Wo usne koi bura sapna dekha tha toh uske vajah se ro rahi thi. Abhi hi soi hai thodi der pehle.

Arjun : Ohh main isse chu sakta hu ye jag toh nahi jayegi?

Riya : (smiling) Haan par bahut dhire se yeh bhi tumhari tarah halka sa chune se jaag jati hai.

Arjun : Thik hai.

He slowly touched her cheeks, they were soft as cotton. She strives to sleep. He got scared that he would disturb her sleep.

Riya: Chinta mat karo nahi uthe gi. (Laugh).

Nurse (came there ma'am) : Abhi aapko bahar jana padega sir ko aram ki jarurat hai.

Riya nodded and was about to leave but stopped.

Riya: Nurse bas ek minute mujhe inse kuch baat karni hai. (Nurse nodded) (to Arjun ) Arjun agar Arya tum se puche ki tum kaha the itne saalo tak toh tum usse yeh bola na ki...

She told him everything that she had told her. Arjun nodded in agreement and she went from there.
