Chapter 4

In Mumbai

Arjun landed in Mumbai. He was feeling something strange.

Arjun : Yeh aisi ajeeb is feeling kyu aa rahi hai?

Arjun left the airport and sit in a taxi. And went to Lisa's sister's house.

In Office

It was lunch break. Riya, Samsha Chotu and Priya were sitting in Riya's cabin.

Riya : Bhai aapne bataya dono bhabhis ko ki humne kya decide kiya hai?

Sameer : Nahi abhi batane wale the.

Ayesha : Konse decision ke baat kar rahe ho tum log?

Chotu : Yahi ki kal wo nayi deal sign karne wale hai hum log vo Sameer lead kare ga.

Priysha : sachi congratulations Sameer/bhaiya.

Sameer : Thanks.

Priya: Waise yeh sab kyu??

Riya : Main batati hu. (She tells the conversation they had in the morning about the deal.)

Priya : Jo bhi ho Riya tune yeh bahut sahi kiya. Par main tujhse naraz hu.

Riya : Kyu kya hua??

Priya : Tune mujhe aur Ayesha ko kyu nahi bulaya yeh discuss karne. Sirf apne bhaiyo ko hi bulaya.

Ayesha : Iss baat pe toh main bhi tujhse naraz hu.

Riya : Arey meri bhabhis kaam best friends. Maine tum logo iss liye nahi bulaya. Kyunki tum log meeting kar rahe the workshop ke supervisor se kuch yaad aaya.

Ayesha : Ohh. Haan yeh toh mere dimaag se hi nikal gaya. Sorry. ( Holding her ears.)

Priya : sorry (holding one ear and making a cute pout. As she was holding a plate in one hand)

Riya : koi baat nahi.

After having lunch they get back to their respective jobs. Here Arjun reached Lisa's sister's house. He was still feeling that strange feeling but he ignored the feeling. He rang the doorbell. A servant opens the door.

Servant : aap kon??

Arjun : Sakshi (Lisa's sister) di hai.

Lisa's sister came.

Sakshi : Kon hai.(see Arjun) Arjun tum aa gaye. (to servant) Tum inka saman leke guest room main rakh do.

Servent : Ji malkin.

He takes the bag from Arjun and lives. Arjun comes and side hugs each other.

Sakshi : Aur batao kaise ho Arjun.

Arjun settled on the couch.

Arjun : Main thik hu di Aap batao aap aur jiju kaise hai.

Sakshi : Hum bhi bahut ache hai. Ab tum jara jaake fresh hoke thoda aaram karo.

Arjun : Thik hai di. Room kaha hai?

Sakshi : Upar se right aur phir dusra kamara.

Arjun : Thik hai Di.

Arjun went towards the guest room. He took a cool shower and changed into a grey t-shirt and black track pants. He opens his bag and arranges the clothes in the cupboard. He took a photo which he carries everywhere he goes. He sat on bed.

Arjun : I miss you jaan. Sorry agar maine vo sab nahi kiya hota toh aaj hum dono saat hote. I love you.

He hugs the photo and sleeps in the same position.

Evening 5:30.

In Mukherjee Mansion.

All were sitting in the living room as all of them had come just now from the office. Ayan and Arya come running towards Riya and hug her. Riya hugged them and made them sit beside her.

A+A : Good evening mumma.

Riya : Good evening mere bache. Kaisa tha aap ka din. Aapne Aarti di (caretaker of kids.) ko jyada pareshan toh nahi kiya na?

Ayan : Nahi mumma hum dono good bache ki tarah lunch kiya aur so gaye.

Riya : Very good. Aap dono ne homework kar liya.

Arya : Haan mumma kar liya. Mumma ek baat bolu?

Riya : haa bolo na bacha.

Arya : hum dono park mein jaye khelne?

Riya : Nahi abhi aaj nahi baad mein.

Ayan : Mumma please aaj hamare saare friends aane wale hai khelne Please (with a puppy face.)

Arya : Haan mumma please. (With a puppy face)

Riya was going to say something but Ayesha interrupted.

Ayesha : Riya jaane dena ab dono itna bol rahe hain.

Riya : acha thik hai par jayada masti mat karna. Aur Aarti didi ko pareshan mat karna.

Ayan : Nahi Aarti didi nahi aap aao ge humare saat.

Arya : haa mumma please aap aao na. Humare sab friends ki mumma aati hai.

Riya : Acha thik hai main aati hu. Pehle main change karke aati hu.

Riya goes into her room. And change into a simple red kurti and jeans and a stole around her neck. She was looking simple and beautiful.

Riya : Ab chale.

A+A : haa. By Mama Mami.

The three of them left for park.

Priya : Kisi ki nazar na lage inko. Aaj kitne dinon baad khush lag rahe haina teeno saath mein.

Sameer : Haan ab bas sab aisa hi rahe.

Chotu : aisa hi rahe ga.

Ayesha: Aab tum log bhi jao fresh ho jao. Main cook ko bolti hu. Khane ke baare mein bata ke aati hu.

Three of them nodded their heads and left for their rooms.

Chapter 5

In Sakshi's house.

Arjun was sleeping when his phone rang. He wakes up and receives the call that it was Shree.

Arjun :Hello haa Shree bol.

Shree: Hello bhai aap pahuch gaye?

Arjun : haa pahuch gaya main. Tu bata sab thik hai vaha?

Shree : Haan bhai yaha sab thik hai. Bhai aapne jo presentation mail karne ko boli thi vo maine kar di hai.

Arjun : Good main dekh leta hu. Aur agar kuch changes karne hoge toh kar dunga.

Shree : Thik hai bhai ab main rakhta hu.

Arjun : Thik hai by.

Shree : Byy.

They cut the call.

Arjun : Abhi thoda bahar ghum leta hu. Mind fresh hoga toh kaam bhi ache se hoga.

Arjun went down and saw Sakshi was sitting in the living room and watching TV.

Arjun : Good evening di.

Sakshi : Good evening. Kahi jaa rahe the??

Arjun : Haan vo thodi khuli hawa khane. Yaha aas paas koi garden ya park hai??

Sakshi : Haan haina yahi thoda aage hai.

Arjun : Acha thik hai main thodi der mein aata hu.

Sakshi : Thik hai.

Sameer left from there.

In the park Ayan and Arya were playing with kids. Riya was adoring the smile on their faces. Naina got a call from her PA so she went to the side to talk. Arya was playing when a boy came and pushed her. She fell down and got scratches on her knees and hand. She started crying.

Ayan got angry at the boy for hurting his dear sister. He pushed the boy too. The boy was about to fall but the boy's mother caught him. She was about to slap Ayan for pushing her son. But a hand stopped her. And the hand was of Riya Mukherjee. She jerks the lady's hand away from Ayan.

Riya : Himmat bhi mat karna mere bache par hath uthane ki.

Lady : Acha itni hi chinta hai apne bache ki toh usse zara tamiz sikho.

Riya : Mere bacho mein bahut tamiz hai. Aap zara apne bache ko sambhaliye. Usne meri beti ko pehle dhaka mara. Aur ab aap mere bete ho thapad mar rahi hai.

Lady : Mere bete ne aisa kuch nahi kiya. Tumhari beti apne aap giri hai. Aur tum apne bacho ko jayada sar pe mat chadao. Pata chala yeh bhi apni maa ki tarah bin shaadi ke maa baap ban jaye.

Lady's words pierced her heart very badly.

Riya : (controlling her emotions) Dekhiye aap meri personal life mein na ghuse toh hi behtar hoga aap ke liye.

Lady : Kyu kya kar logi tum? Hum sab ko pata hai tu bin bihai maa hai (Unmarried mother).

Riya : Yeh sab baatein agar bacho ko samane nahi kare toh behtar hai.

Lady : Tum jaiso ke toh muh bhi nahi lagna chahiye. (To her son) Chal beta aaj se tu in dono ke saath nahi khele ga.

They left them. All the people present started gossiping about her. But she ignored their talks and went towards Arya who was crying. Blood was coming out from her knees. Riya took her in her arms and went to sit on a nearby bench.

Riya : Ayan jao samane panipuri wale uncle haina unse pani leke aao. Yeh lo paise. (To Arya) Nahi rote bacha abhi mumma khoon saaf karde gi.

Ayan : Thik hai mumma abhi aya.

Ayan runs towards the panipuri cart which was near the park's gate. He was running and didn't see Arjun coming from the front. They both bumped into each other. Ayan was about to fall but Arjun caught him on time. He properly bent to Ayan's height.

Arjun : Arey sambhal ke chala karo abhi gir jate.

Ayan : Sorry uncle maine dekha nahi aage se dhayan rakhuga.

Arjun : Waise jaa kaha rahe the??

Ayan : Wo meri behan ko chot lagi haina toh mummy ne bola panipuri wale uncle se pani leke aau.

Arjun : Chalo mere saat mein dilata hu.

Ayan : Nahi mumma bolti hai strangers se baat nahi karni chahiye aur kuch lena bhi nahi chahiye.

Arjun : yeh toh aapki mummy bahut achi baat bolti hai. Acha ek kaam karte hai hum friends ban jate hai. Aap mere friend bano ge.

Ayan : (thinking for sometime) Acha thik hai friends.

They both shake hands. After that Arjun takes Ayan to panipuri wale uncle and buys a water bottle. They were going towards Riya and Arya but Arjun's phone rang and it was of his manager. After talking to him he turns to look for Ayan but he is gone. So Arjun also goes from there as he has some urgent work related to the deal.

On Riya's side.

Ayan reaches near her and hands her the bottle.

Riya : (washing Arya's wounds) Dekho abhi mumma saaf kar degi na toh dukhe ga nahi. Ayan itni der kaha laga di tumne pata haina Arya ro rahi hai.

Ayan : Sorry mumma vo jaate jaate ek uncle se takra gaya tha.

Riya : Kya takra gaye the. Tumhe lagi toh nahi na.

Ayan : Nahi mumma nahi lagi. Wo uncle ne mujhe nahi girne diya.

Riya : Acha ab chalo ghar chalte hai.

Riya took Arya in her arms as her legs were in pain and she was not able to walk properly. They go to Mukherjee Mansion. As they reached, all saw that Arya got hurt on her knees and palm. They bombarded them with questions.

Riya : Pehle toh aap log shant ho jaye. Aur Arya ko kuch nahi hua hai bas khelte khelte girgai thi. Ab main room mein jaa rahi hu iss leke. Aaj hum teeno mere room mein soye ge.

Riya goes towards her room and rest all are in the living room. Suddenly Ayan remembered something and asked a question related to it and shocked all of them.
