ARIYA FF -BLIND DATE

HI,guys these is first story,hope u like it let me know in the comment section below how you felt it,I will love to hear and learn from my mistakes(if any)

BLIND DATE

Long horn from my back

“hey siri what time is it” I asked to my phone

Its 7:10 pm it replied,

We barely moved one km from last fifteen min

‘It is the fourth time from last fifteen min you asked for the time’the cab driver said from the front seat. He sounds frustrated

‘Oh sorry I have an important meeting at 8’0 clock’ I replied with low tone

The traffic started slowly to clear after moving for sometime

Driver: Sorry sir it’s been a long day for me

Me: Oh, That’s ok I can understand' I replied

Driver: Thank you sir. we can reach your destination by time not a problem

After sometime I don’t know how he found but he asked me’ you alright sir you look so tensed’.

I took a pause

sorry, sir don’t mind that’s ok if its personal' he said again

I again took a pause and said ‘I have a date today’

‘Oh great’, he sounded bit exited

‘Don’t worry sir, just be yourself everything will be fine’ he started free advising

That is the problem I said inside my mind.

Driver: is this your first date

Myself: yes

Driver: see I know, that is the reason you look tensed be cool and calm sir, she definitely likes you

He sounds he is more confident on me than me

Myself: it’s not about that

Driver: then

Myself: leave it

‘Well I am happy to date a girl who is cool and calm like you’ driver replied

“Were you ready to date and Marry a blind girl” I interrupted him before he finished his sentence

What a shocking reply from him

Uff big sigh from me

You mea…n are you..? driver doubtedly asked

Yes, I am blind I replied

This time he is the person who took a long pause

‘Oh sorry’ he sounded pity for me

‘A routine word from people which makes me more weak after they come to know thatI am blind’ Ithought in mind and remained silent.

‘Does she know it’he asked

‘NO,Are you done or you have any questions left’,I sounded more straight

‘Sorry sir,but I can’t resist myself just one last question please’

This is the only time I found him sounded requesting

‘Why people are more interested in others life?’ I asked to myself in mind

‘Well, ok there is’…I started my story

The driver adjusted his seat and paying more attention to my words

‘There is a dating app called BLIND DATE where, every person puts in their likes and dislike and selects 10 pairs for every month and arranges four dates every Saturday one hour at restaurant dialogue in the dark.’

‘You mean the restaurant where people have their dinner in dark room’ the driver interrupted my sentence at the end

I said ‘yes’

‘So, these is literally a blind date’he said I can sound slight laugh in his words

I remained silent

Driver: will you say that you are blind today?

Me: yes of course.do you think I will hide these from her?

Driver: Not like that I think it’s better to say her on third or fourth date

ME: doesn’t matter

Driver: No sir it do

He sounds confident

‘How does it matter‘ I am thinking in my mind

people will be prejudice, doesn’t matter how good you are! Impress her in first two dates and say her in third or fourth week, let her decide

I just remained silent after his words. That too makes sense in one way.

Meanwhile, Car stopped

'Sir we reached your destination' driver said

Driver: Its 8:10 pm sir would you like me to help to the door,

Driver asked when I was about to ask my phone for the time.

'No, Thanks' I replied

'Ok, sir just get down to your left walk straight and take steps, you will find reception I hope you will find your girl today'. I felt he really meant it

‘Thanks’ I replied and got down of car with the full of confusion for driver words weather I have to say it or on the next time

‘Good evening sir how may I help you’ a guy with between twenty five to thirty age voice asked when I reached reception

Myself: Hi I am from blind date app I replied

Receptionist: may I know your name sir name

Me: ARJUN

Receptionist: your table number is 12 this way sir

He holds my hand and takes to the table and made me sit

I smelled a strong women frangrance

‘Have a good time sir’, he said and left

‘You are late I have been waiting for forty minutes a girl voice from my opposite chair’ yelled to me

‘So sorry I had been struck in traffic’ I apologized.

The girl laughs and said ‘No, I am just kidding I arrived just now’.

I don’t know how to respond I just smiled

‘My name is RIYA and yourself’she asked

‘ARJUNJ’ I replied

RIYA: you know these is kind of adventure to me

Me: what

Having dinner in room full of dark. don’t you think it is?

‘Well, then my life is a big adventure’ I just thought in mind.

RIYA: You don’t talk much she said

Me: Not like that

Or ‘do I talk more she laughed’ and said

‘Hi sir what would you like to order’ in the Meantime the waiter asked us

“half grilled barbeque chicken with mayonnaise”

we both ordered at same time.

‘Ok sir, won’t be long‘ the waiter said and left

We both remained silent

‘We are much alike’ she said I can clearly imagine her smiling lips

‘Well I think that made us to meet’ I replied

‘You are right’ she said

We remained silent for a while

RIYA: What do you do?

Me: I am guitarist

RIYA: wow!

She sounds so excited I think I almost impressed her.

Me: you like it

RIYA: which girl doesn’t? I always wanted to learn guitar

She is excited

Me: Definitely,your place or mine

RIYA: I think it’s too early

Me: I am talking about guitar

RIYA: Me too

We both blushed

RIYA: I thought why they choosed these kind of place for a date But now I understand

Me: oh really! Why?

RIYA: we will be ourselves when no one is watching us if the whole life is like this I can save my entire money on cosmetics and parlour. (laughing)

Me: yeah,Men’s too on hair and beard PRODUCTS

RIYA: “MENS”?

Me: I mean we all can save on hair products

‘Thanks for the blind date’ she murmured

Me: sorry

I want to hear it again

I wanted to say that I am blind but the words of driver stopping me

Man while food arrived to our table

We started our dinner, I am in conversation for only just 20 min but I am feeling so happywith her.

But, am I becoming too attached to her?

will she be same after knowing after knowing that I am blind?

Is it the right thing to hide that I am blind?

Or Am I cheating her?

These are the Questions striking in my heads?
