Chapter 1

Amazing update 👏

Loved it

Sakshi's POV in the beginning was beautifully written. All her emotions, from confusion to guilt to acceptance of love, and her entire journey in ETF was brilliant.

Arjun called Sakshi and asked for help. In the car, he apologized for his behaviour. Sakshi really understands him so well. And the fact that he shared his feelings with her was so heart-touching.

And the last line...so beautiful. Hats off for writing something so flawless, so perfect.

Chapter 2

I guess this update was about how the entire team dies in the show. (Sorry I haven't watched that episode)

But Arjun manages to save the entire team, keeping his pain and problems at the back of his head. I loved how the beginning almost gave me a heart-attack by just imagining that what would have happened if he had failed. And the burst of emotions when Arjun saw them alive and vice versa was beautiful. Sakshi told the team how he viewed them as his family and now this family is trying their best to reduce his pain.

Finally Arjun's POV! He is still confused about his life.

Uh-oh Liza ordered a fruit punch but the shopkeeper accidentally mixed them with the wine bottles. Arjun is mesmerized by seeing Sakshi is a western dress. The subtle scene between them was indeed very cute. And finally the 'fruit punch' was served. Arjun and Sakshi, drunk talking and dancing, was a treat to read. And the song was just perfect for the occasion. The morning after will definitely be a blast.

Arjun woke up to the beautiful sight of Sakshi in his arms. He is slowly realizing his feelings for her but it seems there is still some hesitation. Hehe...Arjun panics that Shree might see them together and they both run away from the home. Sakshi's father is alright now and Arjun accompanies her to Pune. Arjun finally has a witness against Sikander. The emotions in this chapter was very beautifully written and I love how you end each chapter with a song. I have no words to describe what an amazing writer you are.

Arjun after gaining information about that lady excused himself from Anand family and went in the quest of that lady.

He was just adjusting his seatbelts when he saw Sakshi coming and sitting in the co-driver seat.

Arjun(looking quizically at her): oh hello! Kya kar rahi ho?

Sakshi(fixing her seatbelt and ignoring arjun): tumhare saath chal rahi hu.

Arjun: iski koyi zarurat nahi hai. I'll manage. Waise bhi personal case hai official help milegi nahi. Toh khud hi pata lagana hoga.

Sakshi(now turning towards him): tumse pucha maine, ki please Arjun mujhe apne saath le Chalo? Nahi right. Aur tumne bhi toh mera saath diya subah ko remember? Aur waise bhi tumhare is personal case mein yeh important lead tumhe mere papa ne di hai, it's personal for me too, so I'm coming. Lastly ek larki se baath karna hai, aur tumhare social skills toh kitne ache hai hum sab jaante hai. (Looking at him lovingly) Aur mein tumhe akela nahi chodungi.

Arjun too looked at her while she said the last line. The unsaid emotions which conveyed through the eyes didn't need words. Sakshi's unconditional support, her lively nature, which were able to stir even that stone hearted man deserved some extra compliments. However Arjun's fears, his insecurities which burdened his heart didn't let him accept the feelings he felt evolving from Sakshi. Neither did it let him know the condition of his own heart.

He knew the argument was a lost battle so without wandering further o ver it, he let her accompany him.

After a journey of more than 5 hours, first by car and then by train, they reached their destination. 4/21 Guru Govind Road, a small yet well structured house, away from the crowded colonies of the city.

They reconfirmed the address and knocked the door. Came out an a lady in her late 40's dressed in a simple saari, her unkempt hair loosey tied in a bun. A thick glass over her eyes that guarded the eyes which clearly hid many secrets. Two bangles in each hand, a golden chain around her neck, and the small bindi which adorned her forehead, was all she carried.

Lady:jee?

Arjun(whispering to sakshi): tum baat karo pata nahi mera baath karna thik hoga ya nahi?

Sakshi nodded in agreement and turned to that lady,

Sakshi(smiling warmly): Vineeta?

The lady stiffened hearing that name, her eyes dialated and she gulped visibly.

Vineeta(fear evident in her voice): aap koun?

Sakshi(comforting her): aap please dariye mat. Hum woh nahi jo aap soch rahi hai. Main Mr Anand ki beti Sakshi Anand, aur yeh mere saath hai.

Vineeta(finally relaxing hearing her saviour's name): aap andar aiye?

They settled in the sofa while Vineeta narrated her story.

Arjun and Sakshi both realised the dangers of the the case, the pain and helplessness of the lady

Arjun: hum unhe saza dilwana chahte hai, aap madad karengi?

Vineeta(determined): un darindo ko khatam karne keliye jo karna pare karungi. Aap boliye?

Arjun: Hume bas un tak pohuch na hai. Kisiko Sikander ke hone par yakin hi nahi.

Vineeta(smiled sadly): Sikander sirf ek cover name hai issiliye. Mein bhalehi apni marzise nahi gayi thi, par uske admiyon se dimaag zyada tha isilye kaam bhi behtar tha. Bohut kam waqt mein Sikander ki khaas ban gayi. Aap samaj hi sakte hai, khas hone ke saare clauses? Isiliye uska naam pata hai. Warna uske gang mein bhi kuch logoko chorke kisiko Sikander ke asliyat ke baare mein kuch nahi pata. Bohut log mile hue hai, jo humaare rakshak hai shayad woh bhi, issiliye uska sach bahar nahi aya. Mujhe nahi pata woh janta hai ya nahi ki mein zinda hu, par mujhe uske baare mein jo pata hai mein batati hu, Anand sir ko proofs dene waali thi par unpar attack ho gaya.

Saying so she handed over a small micro chip to Arjun which she took out from her locket around her neck.

Vineeta:(bringing a pendrive): maine unke saath kaam karke jo kuch bhi pata laga paya woh sab in mein hai. Unke kuch locations, docks, storehouse, dealing points, stock houses ki details bhi hai. I don't know ki Abhi bhi wahi use hote hai ya nahi par aap ek baar dekh lena. Aur ha Sikander ka dusra naam hai Shekhar Khan.

Sakshi(astonished): woh businessman?

Vineeta(nodded in agreement): baaki yo ka pata nahi par yeh stock house aur dealing point bohut important tha toh shayad aj bhi...(Arjun marked that in understanding)...Aur ek request hai sir, maine in sabko peeche chor diya hai, toh please mera naam beech mein nahi ana chahiye.

Arjun(nodded acknowledging it): don't worry hum apko nahi jante.

Bidding her goodbye Arjun and Sakshi waited in the car, analysing the new found evidences and deciding what to do next.

Arjun(shuffling the papers of the file): yeh sab solid evidence hai, par kaise sab ke samne laye.

Sakshi(who was analysing the chip): Arjun proofs toh kaafi hai Sikander naam ka koyi hai sabit karne keliye. Toh investigation start kar sakte hai

Arjun(closing the file and sighing dejectedly): tum bhul rahi ho, Rathore ke wapas ane ka waqt ho gaya hai. Ab mein kuch nahi kar sakta. Woh toh Sikander ka naam suntehi mujh par bharak jayega. Commisioner sir ne mujhe kaha tha Sikander ka case ETF ko milega par aj tak kuch nahi mila.

Sakshi(noticing his helplessness): hmmm...toh ab Kya? Sikander ko aise hi nahi chor sakte.

Arjun(Suddenly realising something): agar hum commisioner sir tak direct information bheje toh?

Sakshi(visibly beaming): good idea.

Arjun(realising the hole in this perfect plan): par unhe bhi mein desperate lagta hu. Main bhejunga toh impact zyada nahi hoga. Shayad ignore hi karde, (Seeing Sakshi trying to volunteer herself) nahi tum karogi toh bhi nahi hoga. Bomb blast ke din jab tum sabne unke against jaakar mera saath diya toh unhe pata chal gaya hoga ki team mere side hai.

Sakshi(remembering something): Arjun meri ek friend hai crime reporter agar uske through bheje toh?

Arjun(appreciably looking at her): acha idea hai. Par pura information nahi. Isko format karna parega aur thora bhejna hoga warna sir ko shak ho sakta hai ki itna information crime reporter ko kaise mila. Aur waise we don't know whom to trust, isilye iye information sirf hum dono tak hi rahega.

Sakshi: fine mein use inform kardungi aur yeh data aj raat ko format kar lete hai kitna bhejna hai kitna nahi dekhlo. Hum sirf Sikander ke existence ke proofs bhejenge right? Shekhar Khan bohut bara naam hai, aise hi ilzaam nahi laga sakte.

Arjun: hmmm...Main tab tak apne informers ko in jaggaho ke baare mein pata karne keliye bolta hu. Kuch pata chale toh age baadhenge.

Two days later both were waiting in the car for the arrival of Arjun's informer. Soon he arrived.

Informer: Saab aj woh log yaha pe deal karne wale hai. Koyi bohut bari nahi choti moti deal hai issiliye Sikander nahi ayega. Par koyi larki hai jo lead karegi.

Arjun(giving him money): Sukriya bohut acha kaam kiya hai. Age ki dealings, stockings sab ki khabar dete rehna. Jaggu aur Raju ko bhi keh Dena.

Informer(shocked dye to Arjun's open praises, counts the money, and is again stunned): Saab itna saara?

Arjun: agar sahi information, sahi waqt pe doge toh aur zyaada milega. Ab jao.

Arjun and Sakshi left the car at a distance, and cautiously went a little ahead. Though they couldn't go beyond a certain because of safety reasons they managed to find a spot where they can stay hidden and at least have a look at the proceedings.

They were at a good distance since the voices were not very clear only it was distinguishable from one another.

They could hear 2 cars screech thus marking the arrival of the dealers. All of a sudden the security strengthened and Arjun and Sakshi had to hide completely behind those huge boxes.

They could hear vaguely two men stating the quality of drugs and bargaining about the prices.

Then he heard a divine voice, for which he didn't need special tools, he could never mistake with that voice, be it the dustance, mental stress or anything, he could recognise tge voice in an instant. The voice which he wished to hear every moment. The voice which he thought ceased to exist. The voice of the lady who came in his life like fresh air, solved his problems so easily, and then left him without even warning.

Fresh tears formed in his eyes, hearing that melodious voice, he could hear that same innocent sweet voice, calling him lovingly, teasing him, and laughing with him, in his distant memory.

Then it travelled to the bitter part, a shining, sharp metal knife which went through her body, shutting that voice completely. He tried to reach upto her but couldn't. His hands automatically went upto his bandage which hid the scarred tatoo beneath it.

How many times he wished to go to her, he wished his "waqt" to be over, but he kept on living a lifeless life. That voice had erupted so many raw emotions in him which he had burried deep inside him. He couldn't move nor could understand what was happening. He was in a turmoil, once he thought it was his mistake, but then and there he heard her voice again.

He didn't even dare to turn and see the owner of that voice, not wanting to be proven wrong, and loose to destiny again.

But as they say, "Waqt ke haatho koyi nahi bachta." He heardsgunharp gun shot, followed by another. He was forced to look at the scene happening in front.

The two men who were bargaining, were laying shot dead, with a red liquid flowing ever so slowly from the hole made in their foreheads. The other members of there party was so shocked due to the sudden turn of events that they didn't even tried to protest and surrendered.

Then his eyes darted of to the lady, his breath hitched in his throat, refusing to come out. His eyes widened as he got a glimpse of her face, tears which he had held for so many years after her demise finally got a way to flow down.

He didn't realise the current situation, he was happy that his love, his life was alive right in front of him. But another gun shot made him face the harsh reality, he moved his eyes from her face, only to find her hands raised, with a gun firmly held in those soft hands, and her index finger carefully placed on the trigger.

The hands which had showered him with love, which had served him food, the only weapon he had ever seen there was the kitchen knife. The lady who sympathized even for animals, and insects was now mercilessly killing human beings one after another. And if it was not enough there was a cynical laughter which followed the gunshots clearly enjoying the whole event.

The laughter did not resemble "her's", the actions, the body language, the evilness the cruelty nothing matched with the lady he claimed to be his. Gone was The loving and beautiful wife of His.

Shock, Fright yes Fright, for The first time in His life he admitted to be frightened with the happenings. He couldn't believe His eyes or rather refused to believe it. He just kept glancing at the scene unfolding before him, as it drained the last bit of life left in His body. Hurt, pain, betrayal, shattered his heart like pieces of glass.

He was shivering not due to rage, but because of fear. Only one word escaped His mouth, He wanted to shout and talk with her and clear out whatever was happening only a whisper came out,

"ROSHNI"...
