Chapter 2:The unfulfilled dreams

Night

Arjuns father takes arjun along with him to his works place which is near riyas home. On the way to home

Arjuns father : beta mujhe ek help chahiye

Arjun : bolo papa

Father : jagadeesh sir ka ghar mein cylinder wali kuch kaam hai , mein ek worker ko wahan bheja, tum waha jakar kaam dekho, agar kuch help chahiye toh mujhe call karo..

Arjun m.v : wow iss time mein riya ko dekhna grt

Father : tum jaogi ya mein jaau

Arjun : (before completing) nahi papa mein jaungi

Arjun runs from there to RIYA'S house. Riya was standing in the corridor and arjun was looking at her madly. Riya observed this, she sighed him, arjun git over excited and started to wave her widely.. Riya looked at him strangely, but arjun came under light so that she recognised somewhat and signaled him to wait there

Arjun : shouting : kya!??? What are u saying? I can't understand

Riya put finger on her lips: shh

After ten minutes. Riya came down to arjun. Riya recognised him and laughed loudly sitting on the bench near by

Arjun : aap itna kyu has rahe ho?

Riya : maine socha ki gas boy mujhe line mar raha hai... Aur meine socha ki mama ko inform kardo lekin u know cross check karne ke liye aaya hun

Arjun : lekin i am not a gas boy

Riya : ha tum toh dance wala hai na

Arjun :mera naam arjun hai arjun suryakanth rawte

Riya : whatever... Bolo tum yaha roshini ke liye aaye ho na

Arjun :nahi mera papa jagadeesh sir ke office mein kaam kartha hai.

Riya : ohh sorry...she turns back to leave

Arjun : baito na kitna sundar hai yeh khamoshi... Aur yeh raat

Riya : yeh nahi... Ganga ke ghat par ham jo chandni dekhthe hai wo iss se bhi bahuth khubsurat hai...

Arjun : kyaa aap kabhi gaye thi?

Riya : nahi.. Bus suna maine

Arjun : i will take u ther

Riya : really... Lekin. Agar dada ya mama ne dekha toh sab khatam

Arjun : kuch nahi hoga... Bus aap 10 bhaje tak ready hojayiye

Riya :teek hai, lekin kisi ko bhi iske baare mein koe doubt nahi aana chahiye

Arjun : sure memsahib...

Riya laughs and bids him a bye... Arjun is on cloud 9... He goes to shree and sakshi to inform about it... Sakshi though not happy with this pretends to be happy as all she wanted is his happiness

Arjun : woah... I love u chandni

Sakshi : ab yeh kaun hai?

Arjun :riya ka favourite saheli

Sakshi (sleeping on his shoulder) : all the best... Ache kapde pehenke jana kyu ki first impressions are the best aur jyaada perfume lagana yeh sab nahi karo kyu ki she feel awkward .. Aur uske liye tum boat bhi book karo..

Arjun : mere budget mein boat kaha se laun

Sakshi : iss liye tum yeh rakhlo ( she keeps money in his pocket)

Arjun :tum aise tume waste karna mujhe acha nahi lag raha hai kyu ki i don't want to spoil your life

Sakshi : dekho arjun tum mujhe pyaar karo ya na karo wo tera marzi but u see... I love u that's my love let me do it... I don't force you to reciprocate.. Because i can force you to love me... But i will never win ur heart by doing that let me be myself junno... But i promise iss pyaar ke wajah hamari friendship ko kabhi kharaab math karna...

Arjun nods and rests his head on sakshi's head.. Shree, who came there stayed silent by watching this

Shree m.v: khamoshi kitna sundar hai. Sakshi's love is unconditional and same is the case with arjun and agar yeh Dono saath mein hai toh i will be the most happiest one...

Suddenly he remembers something and calls arjun..Arjun turns around to shree. He signals him to sit infront of him as sakshi fall asleep and they talk for some time and leave to their places..

Next day

Night

Backside of riya's house

Arjun gets ready with his bicycle. He is waiting for riya to come. He waited whole night there for riya but she didn't come. He returned home in the early hours. Due to the cold weather arjun started shivering..

Sakshi : hey tumhe tih bus shivering nahi tez bukhar hogaya

Sakshi started to be with him and take care of him.

Arjun m.v : what is this arjun? Why she is wasting time by spending it with you... U are nowhere concerned to her.. But yeh samajdaari hai riya se jyaada.. Kya wo pyaar nahi hai jo mujhe riya ke saath horaha hai...bhagwaan kya hai yeh...

He started ti ignore riya as he thought he is not a perfect fit for her... He even didn't expose this to sakshi and shree as he want to take his time to get used to sakshi. He started to spend more time with her

After one week.

Arjun and sakshi are walking on thr ghat.. Roshini and riya saw arjun saw arjun.. Arjun just ignored her and started to hold sakshi 's hand and started to walk fast

Riya : dekho arjun...

Arjun turned over and asked what

Riya : that day my brother in law came here from U. S so i didn't come i am sorry... Plz mujhe maaf kariye

Sakshi : because of that night use ek hafte se bhukar tha

Riya goes near arjun. Arjun raises his eyes.. Riya hugs him tightly for few minutes,

While hugging

Riya : i am sorry arjun.. But u know uske baad maine tumhare baare mein enquire kiya lekin kuch bhi nahi mila... I am sorry... Ham aaj raath jayenge samjhe ya samjhau...

Arjun hugs her back and she leaves

him..arjun again goes to riyas house. Riya got ready and waiting for arjun

Arjun arranged a a ladder so she can get ready easily.. She gets down and both go together one Arjuns cycle. Arjun though still hesitant about riya..

Riya : arjun tumhe patha hai... Yeh meri favourite dream hai... From my childhood, i have dreamt about it

Arjun : aur kya kya kwaishein hain tumhe.

Riya : in between any river on a full moon day wo chandni ko dekh kar chillana hai... Aur ek din bina naam bina identity se ghumna aur bahuth sare hai lekin...

Arjun : khaana khaliya?

Riya : nahi.. Excitement ke wajah se...

Arjun takes her to a street food stall. Riya makes a weird face after seeing it. Arjun gives her a plate of paav bhaaji and he takes one..

Riya : mujhee nahi chahiye... I am not hungry

Arjun : are you sure..

Riya : yes

Arjun eats his food quietly and pays the bill and they move towards the ghat..

Riya : arjun its so beautiful... Ohh my god... Such a lovely one

Arjun : mujhe patha hai... Lekin iss se bhi beautiful scene koi aur hai

Riya : kaha

He signaled her to sit inside a boat. He started the engine and they went to the other side..

Riya : kya hua hum yaha kyon aaye hain?

Arjun : aao

na..moonlight ki magic hai yeh come fast

Arjun took riya near a tree and shakes the tree. No of glow worms present in the tree get out... This makes a really beautiful scene... Riya catches some gkow worms play with them... Finally after sometime they decide to leave.. They get in to the boat... After reaching the other side, arjun takes riya to his terrace and he went down to his home and sakshi came there with a plate full of thali..

Sakshi insisted to eat but riya is not in a mood to listen.

Suddenly arjun enters

Arjun : kya hua... Tum kyon nahi Kha rahe ho..

Riya : i am not hungry..

Arjun : dont lie...

Tumhare aankhein tumhare bhook ko dikha rahe hai

Riya doesn't speak anything... She is hungry but also hesitant at the same time

Arjun : jaldi complete karo... Hame nikalna hai... Papa utne la time horaha hai..

Riya eats fast and they move to riyas house... Riya gets into the gate but is caught by her uncle...

Precap : arjun i love you... Mujhse jyaada priority kya hai tujhe... Agar aaj nahi toh its over... Mark my words its over
