Chapter 10 ~ Matchmakers:

Hey guys!! I am finally back with another update. I hope you all like it. Thank you so much for such response. Love you all. Enjoy!!

I was sitting beside Riya on the bench in our garden. This place is really peaceful and I feel really good sitting here. I remember what happened today. I know Nakul and Nihal love me very much, but Dad totally excluded me from his family. Otherwise he would never have said thanks to me. He treated me as if I am some stranger to him. I came out from my thoughts feeling Riya's hand on my shoulder.

Riya: Arjun?

She said looking at me tensed. I know she cares for me. But still she shouldn't have talked to Dad like that. Whatever he do or did, he still is my father.

Arjun: Riya!! You shouldn't have talked to Baba like that.

I looked at her sadly. She sighed as if she is tired but her eyes are full of anger.

Riya: Really?? And he can say anything to you?

She looked at me annoyed. I shook my head at her exasperated.

Arjun: He is my Baba.

I looked at her somewhat disappointed. He made me the man I am today.

Riya: Yes I agree. He has the right to say anything to his son. If only he was talking to his son. But no!! He was talking to Arjun Suryakant Rawte. My husband. And I will never let anyone insult my husband. He can insult his son as much as he want. But I didn't give him the right to insult my husband.

She glared at me and looked ahead as if thinking something. I don't know what to say. One side it was Roshni who always tried to make me understand that no matter whatever happens they are my parents. They can say anything to me. But Riya is not wrong either. She can handle if they are talking to their son, but no wife will handle her husband being insulted. Even Mom said that she is bound by her vows to only choose Dad. Honestly Riya confused me to no end.

Arjun: Riya!!

I took a deep breath and looked down confused.

Riya: The day he accepts you back as his son, will be the day I will start treating him as my father-in-law.

Riya looked at me determined. I smiled at her slightly. I know she is a very soft person from inside. And I know the day Dad accepts me back as his son, she will forget everything he said or did. Then I remembered the moment I got to know that Nakul was not with Aamir's men. I felt like killing myself. I was so scared at that time.

Arjun: You know what Riya. I was scared for a minute, when I didn't see Nakul with Aamir's men.

I looked at her scared and sat on the grass ground putting my head on her lap. Even now I am feeling somewhat scared, though we already killed that bas***d.

Riya: You love him a lot??

Riya asked stroking my hairs softly. I remembered the day they both came to our house. The day my Uncle and Aunty died. I was 10 years old at that time. Nakul was just 8 years old and Nihal was 5 years old. From that day onwards they were my younger brothers.

Arjun: Both Nakul and Nihal are like my real brothers. My Uncle and Aunty died in a car accident. And they both became orphan. From that day Baba tried to raise them as his own. All three of us were best of friends and we were inseparable. But my one decision and Baba decided that I am not fit to be in Rawte family.

I told her closing my eyes feeling tears flowing from my eyes continuously. How can he just remove me from the family?? Doesn't he remember me ever??

Arjun: I don't know what to do Riya. I don't know how to make him understand that this is my life. That this is what I want.

I said to her feeling helpless. She continued stroking my hairs and wiped my tears gently. I looked at her sadly and she smiled shaking her head in no. I took a deep breath and she sat beside me on the ground.

Arjun: Even I don't want to live apart from them. But I have already settled in this world of mine. Now if they want me in their life, they have to come in my world. I won't go back in their world.

I said to her determined. She looked at me as if she is trying to search something in my eyes. But this time I am sure about what I will do. I won't go back to them. They have to come to me. I have tried to make them understand but now I have to stop.

Riya: Whatever you decide Arjun, I am with you.

She said nodding at me. I know she is trying to portray herself strong, but her eyes are filled with tears too. And by the way, where will she go?? She has to be with me and she loves her job too much.

Arjun: You have to be with me. I don't think you can live without this job of yours.

I looked at her teasingly and she narrowed her eyes at me. Wait!! She was a research specialist.

Arjun: On a second thought, you can fit there perfectly.

I said to her smirking slightly.

Riya: How??

She looked at me confused.

Arjun: You were research specialist. And they all sat on the desk 24*7.

I said shrugging as if its the most common thing. She looked at me stunned for some time, then started getting up annoyed. I know this is my clue to run. She will kill me for sure.

Riya: Arjun!!

I stood and ran from there and she ran behind me. God save me now.

Arjun: Riya!! I was just kidding yaar.

I said to her when she caught my collar and pulled me back forcefully. Ugh!! Why do I had to marry a cop?? She is too powerful for a girl. Its not easy to fight with her.

Riya: I will kill you. How dare you??

She said hitting me on the head. Oh shit!! I rubbed my head wincing.

Riya: Do you even know how much hardwork I did to come in field job??

She looked at me glaring. Looks like today is the last day of you Mr. Arjun Suryakant Rawte. I am sure I will be a history till tomorrow.

Arjun : Okay. Sorry!!

I said to her grabbing my ears. She narrowed her eyes at me.

Riya: Sorry my foot!!

She shouted kicking at my foot. Shit man!! This is just torture. I ran away from her again and she ran behind me. I am sure we will be participating in next olympics if I keep running at this rate. God!! This girl is mad.

I am standing outside the gates of the big house in which Jun Bhai lives. I can see Bhabhi running behind Bhai. He is running away from her as if she will kill him. She looks in the mood to murder him. I grinned looking at both of them. Bhai is a police officer yet he is afraid of his wife?? Interesting!! Suddenly I heard Nihal's voice.

Nihal: Bhai?? Do you really think we should go in??

He said looking at both of them grinning. Even I don't want to go in. At least not now.

Nihal: I don't want to disturb them.

He said looking at me smirking and I shook my head at him. We both missed Jun Bhai very much in last 5 years. But we couldn't talk to him because of Bade Papa. But now I think even Bade Papa want to talk to him. And we wanted to meet him after what he did for us today.

Nakul: Even I don't want to disturb them. They both look beautiful together.

I said looking at both of them grinning. No one would say that they both are police officers.

Nihal: You know I heard that even Roshni Bhabhi was beautiful too.

Nihal said looking at me curiously. We never saw Roshni Bhabhi.

Nakul: But they both are looking magical.

I said to him looking at both of them. Suddenly I felt someone putting revolver on my head.

Abhilash: Hands up!!

I heard a voice and we both turned towards the person. A man is standing there pointing a gun on our heads. I gulped and we both raised our hands. Who is he??

Abhilash: Who are you both?? And what are you doing here??

He asked looking at both of us suspiciously.

Nihal: Jun Bhai!!

Nihal said indicating towards the house. The man looked at us confused then he gritted his teeth.

Abhilash: What?? Come on. Move in.

He said indicating towards the house. We started moving inside the gates of the house. But why is the man coming in?? Who the hell is he??

Nakul: But who are you??

I asked him stopping to look at him confused. And how did he have revolver??

Abhilash: I said Move in.

He shouted and I saw Jun Bhai and Bhabhi looking at all of us stunned. Suddenly Bhabhi shouted.

Riya: Abhi?? What the hell are you doing??

She asked coming towards us and Jun Bhai followed her.
