Arjun ff: SURVIVOR. CHAPTER 4 ON PG 4 (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 1

Arjun

Darkness has always been a part of me. my shield, my companion. But even a shield has to be removed. I watch as the dark sky slowly turns into orange indication of the sun rising. Turning I walk to the bar and poured a drink for myself and continued to watch the sun rise over the horizon. People see me as the mysterious and reclusive businessman who within 2 yrs is owner of the one of the top hotels in the world. I see myself as a survivor for whom everyday is a fight for survival and will go to any extent to ensure that survival. Finishing my drink, I put the glass on the counter and walked towards the room. I opened the door and simply walked inside hardly paying attention to the man quivering on the chair, his legs and hands tied. Removing the tape from his mouth, he begged me to stop but I have long since turned deaf to such pleas. I just remove the hot iron rod from the bowl of coals and soon his screams reveberated in the room.

Oliver:

For the last 5 years my life had only two missions: to fulfill my father's last wish and to survive. As I see a boat anchoring a short distance away from the island which has been my hell for the last 5 years, I shoot an arrow into the sky and it hit the bonfire lighting it up so ferociously, it felt like it was screaming to the world that I am here. Soon those people will come, my mother will find out, everything will remain the same, but for me nothing will be the same.

Felicity:

A smile always appear on my face whenever I see the queen building, the place which has been my work refuge and my home. I have crossed hurdles and limits to reach the place I am today. My course of survival has always been to ensure to do whatever I can but to never become like my mother. Yet inspite of achieving so much I still feel an emptiness in me, but this emptiness is easy to ignore. No matter what happens, survival is the first priority for me and I will never jeopardize that.

John:

As I stare at my brother's picture, confusion still reigns in me as to what had happened? What had joe found out that it went on to become his life's death sentence. The cryptic message reached me too late for me to ensure my brother's survival. But now I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my brother's death will be avenged. Till I survive, I won't stop till my brother's death is avenged.

Chapter 2

Arjun

I drink whiskey as the door opens behind me. turning around, I see chin shaw and his gang enter the room.

Chin: don't you think A, you are too old for masks?

I touch the black mask covering half of my face. I said "don't you think chin shaw that you are too old to use lies in your game?" chin shaw grimaced and asked "have you done the work I have given you?"

I said "he is in the next room." chin shaw got up and motioning for his men not to follow him, he entered the room. within 47 seconds, his cry of anguish echoed in the hall. The men immediately pulled out the guns and pointed them at me. he came walking with a quick stride and grabbed my collar "that's my son you b*****d. my son."

I: hey, you were the one who told me to find out who is stealing your products.

Chin: you could have told me who it was?

I: you never asked. And you know that I answer only when questions are there. You just told me to torture that person.

Chin took out his gun. I pressed a button on the couch and the men's guns immediately went out of their hands and got stuck to the painting. I calmly sipped my drink "I fulfilled the terms of the contract chin shaw. And you know that if you ever did anything which hurt our agreement, I will hunt you down and destroy you. do you want that?". chin shaw sat down heavily on the couch and asks "what do you want to know?".

I: Malcolm Merlyn. What did he want from you?

Chi: he just wanted an assignment to be delivered.

I: what's the assignment?

Chi: I don't know. I never asked.

I: tch,tch chin. You are giving the wrong answer. You not asking questions?. Impossible.

Chi: with a man like Malcolm Merlyn, it is best not to ask questions.

I: true. Very true. Now you can leave and take your son with you.

Within minutes the room emptied. I turned on the news and stared at the sun. my ears perked hearing the news "oliver queen is alive." Hearing this news, only one thought remained in my mind " well, well, well. time to visit starling city."
