Dalia- Childhood avatar of Vannir. Goddess of Fate.
A God and Goddess has many forms. One God or Goddess can be worshiped in different names and different power in different places. For example, In Greece Aphrodite was the Goddess of Beauty and Love. But she was worshiped in Rome as Venus (the Goddess of Love and mother of the God of Love Cupid). Zeus was the God of Sky. But in Rome people used to worship in the Jupiter. About these two God and Goddess their power didn't change. There was another Goddess Athena. Zeus's daughter. She was Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. In Rome people use to call her by Minerva. They also transformed her into Goddess of household affairs. Same Goddess being worshiped in two place in two name and two power. Just like this Vannir's younger form was being worshiped at Rome under the name Dalia as Goddess of Fate. And Vannir at elder form was being worshipped in India as the Goddess of honesty, good deeds and truth. However all these blabbering is just to make things clearer to you. I hope you guys it will help you to understand the following chapter better.
CHAPTER 12:
Everybody turned to the voice and found a beautiful girl standing there with a secret smile at her lips. They got up from their seat. Arjun and Sameer already saw some oil painting of Vannir at the temple so, they recognize her.
Ayesha: Tum ho koun?
Vannir came forward and smiled showing her milky white teeth.
Vnnir: Van-Ah-Heer. Goddess of honesty, good deed and truth.
Ayeha: Haam kaise man le? Tum Banshee bhi to ho sakti ho!
Vannir laughed out. Her laughter rang through the jungle like the sweet sound of stream.
Vannir: Banshee papachar ka devta hai. Who meri avtar kabhi bhi pakad nehi pyega. Aaplog baithye na!
But it was not easy for the team. Dealing with the supernatural was one thing. But sitting face to face with a Goddess. It was entirely another thing. But they sat anyway. Nobody wanted to make her angry. After all she was Goddess. Who knows what she can do!
After they sat at their respective place Vannir spoke up again.

Vannir shook her head.
Vannir: Yes, they are now. Issdunya ka sabse ancient religion hai yeh. In ancient times people used to believe on us. Gods and Goddess fed on believe. Vannir smiled a naughty smile.
Vannir: Khud Banshee ne. Woh kya hia na Banshee bohoti arrogant hai. Jabse jaga hahi tabse roj woh meri mandir mein aya karta tha. Mujhese bat kiya karta tha. Mujhe sonata tha ki kaise ussne iss elake mein khawf paida kar diya hai. Par aise karke ussne mujhe phirse jaga diya. Main Vannir banke aap logoki madad nehi kar sakti thi. Gods and Goddess cannot interfere with the course of human life. Well, not directly. Isslye maine wahi rasta chuna jisse mein aaplogoki madad kar saku. Main Dalia ke rup mein aplogoke samne ayi. Sameer ke takdeer mein aaj mout likha tha. In fact aap sabke takdeer mein aaj mout likha tha. Par jaise Arjun ne Sameer ko bachya takdder ka rokh badal gya. Aur main baki sabko bacha paya. Yaad hai Sameer maine aapko kaha tha ki
"Jo hone hai who hokar rahega. Agar Waisa nehi hua to kuch nehi hoga."
Agar aaj aap mar jate to main kuch nehi kar pati. Par jaise hi aap bach gye aapke sath sath sabki takdeer badal gye.
After a little thought Ayesha figured out what she was trying to say and smiled.
