Last Part 2

Sameer saw something different in her eyes, first it reflected happiness but then it turned into something else, a sudden sadness or guilt. But why??? She is going to marry today..then why there is no happiness which usual would-be brides have.

Sameer asked doubtfully, he didn't know why but seeing that sadness the first thing that come in his mind was, "Tum iss shaadi se khush toh ho na?"

Aisha looked at him surprised of his out of the box question, she was looking in his eyes to find the answers, to know whether she did right or wrong by leaving ETF, whether she misunderstood him or she didn't read his eyes correctly. On the other hand he was confused with her reaction instead of answering him she was looking at him as if trying to find something..

Sameer got confused with her reaction but composing himself he broke the eyelock & again asked, "Aisha...tum iss shadi se khush tho hona?"

Aisha also turned her face & replied after composing herself, "Hmmm"

Sameer was still doubtful so he again asked, "fir tum yaha??tum khush to hona?"

Aisha eyes got bit teary hearing this, she don't know what to reply him so she remained silent.

Sameer asked again, U love him na?'

Again she remained silent looked at the ground beneath her.

Sameer found it fishy bcoz neither she is giving him the answer nor she is looking at him.

Sameer felt hurt at her silence. He looked at her, she was still looking away. He felt embarrassed to have probed into her personal life and excused himself,

I am sorry aisha, mujhe shayad ye puchne ka haq nehi hain, I am really sorry,'

Sameer stood up completing his sentence and instantly Aisha looked at him. Her eyes were filled and she had a pained face. He couldn't take a step further, he kept looking at her. She had lost a bit of weight and the loose dress she was wearing was giving away her miserable self more. Anyone who had known the Aisha Kapoor, who had worked with him, would never believe the lady in front was the same person.

She seemed broken, scared and heavily burdened. The face held regret yet her eyes had a lost longing look in them. Sameer sat beside her again. He couldn't leave her there all alone. She found her sitting beside him and wiped the tear that had rolled down her eyelid. She looked away when Sameer started talking again.

Sameer again asked, "Arrange marriage hai ya love marriage?"

This time also Aisha didn't know what to answer him bcoz it was a love marriage from Shaurya's side & arrange marriage from her side.

Sameer looked at her in a hope to get his answer but instead she kept her silence, lost in her own thoughts.

Sameer was getting irritated with her indifferent behaviour, he placed his hands on hers to gain her attention & as expected with is touch Aisha came out in reality & looked at him.

Sameer saw her confused gaze but didn't get the reason of confusion, so he asked her, showing his concerns "Kya hua aisha?"

Composing herself she said, "Kuch nahi"

Sameer asked, "meine kuch pucha tumse but tumne jawab nahi diya"

Aisha looked at him questioningly but then she understood his question & replied, "Dono...meri shaadi love marriage bhi hai aur arrange marriage bhi"

Sameer got confused with her answer & asked, "Mein kuch samajha nahi"

Aisha took deep breathe & answered him, "Shaurya ke side love marriage hai"

Sameer said, "Oh", But soon he got the full meaning of her which means she didn't love Shaurya.

Sameer asked, "Means tum usse pyaar nahi karti"

Aisha answered, "Karti hu"...Sameer looked at her confused, Aisha understood his confusion & continued, "Par dost ki tarah, he is my friend & I love his friendship"

Sameer replied, "then why are you marrying him? yeh sahi nahi hai"

Aisha said, "Mujhe nahi pata yeh sahi hai ya nahi but itna jaroor janti hu Shaurya loves me,"

After then there was a complete silence between the two. But Sameer was not convinced with all this things. Aisha was surely hiding something but the months of separation between them had made him hesitant. He saw a couple sitting on the bench opposite to them, watching them he asked her unknowingly, "Do you love someone else"

Aisha looked at him shocked, her heart was beating like running in a marathon as if it will come out any second, she immediately looked away from him bcoz she feared that he will read her eyes which she didn't want.

Sameer asked without thinking for a minute, "Kya tum kisi aur se pyaar karti ho"

Aisha replied mockingly, "Kya farak padta hai Sir, aaj meri shadi hain Shaurya se,"

Sameer asked, "Farak padta hai Aisha, If you don't love Shaurya than how this marriage is going to work"

Aisha said, "Pata nahi...but Shaurya sab kuch janta hai"

Sameer asked shockingly, "What??"

Aisha replied with a big smile, "Haan...he knows everything about me...infact when I came here and told him everything, he was the one who said that To be in love is good, but to be loved is great'...aur waise bhi kehte hai na ki shaadi uss nahi karni chahiye jisse aap pyaar karte ho balki uss se karni chahiye jo aap se pyaar karta ho...& I know Shaurya loves me"

Sameer was overwhelmed by such a thoughts & he knew the man who has such thinking must be a jem of person, he was happy that Aisha got such a life partner. But still he wasn't convinced,

He asked her, this time anger was evident in his voice, "agar ye baat sahi hain, to tum yaha kya kar rahi ho Aisha?"

Aisha remained silent. She knew he had hit the right chords again. But it wasn't the time to tell him anything now. Her silence was gradually making Sameer restless, he held her shoulder and called out, calming himself further,

tum usse shadi karo jisse tum pyar karti ho Aisha, tum bhi khush rahogi aur Shaurya bhi,'

Both were silent. But don't know why Sameer wanted to know about that man with whom Aisha was in love & why that man broke their relationship.

After taking much of strength, Sameer asked, "Why u broke up?"

Aisha looked at him utterly confused, why he asked this question. One look at him & she knew why he asked so. She didn't know what to tell him but she also knew she has to answer him, so she replied taking deep breathe, "We never broke up"

Now it was Sameer's time to get confused, he asked, "Matlab??"

Aisha replied with a small smile, "Break up toh tab hota na jab hum kisi relation mein hote"

Sameer asked confusingly, "I didn't get u"

Aisha replied, "We were never in a relationship, we were just friends"

Sameer was looking at her confused, he was not getting head & tail of whatever she was saying, looking at him a small smile appeared on Aisha's lips, she had never seen him in such a confused state but she had to clear his confusion if not fully, than something, so she continued,

"Hum log friends the, pata hi nahi chala mujhe kab unse pyaar ho gaya, kab woh mere liye dost se jyada ho gaye, kab mein unko itna acha se samajhne lag gayi ki unke bina bole unki baat samajhne lagi, unhe kab kya chahiye, kis baat pe unhe gussa aayega & if he say his trade mark dialog for once means he is pissed off & second time means you are dead', kab woh khush honge, honestly jab woh gussa hote the meri bhi himmat nahi hoti thi unke samne jane ke liye, but mujhe pata tha ki unke dil mein mere liye koi feelings nahi hai, I knew that he always looked upto me as a friend, I knew he never thought about me like I thought about him, I don't know whether he knew or not but his eyes always reflected his heart"

Sameer was shocked by this, he asked, "What did he say?"...Aisha looked at him not understanding his meaning, Sameer understood her confusion & continued, "I mean jab tumne usse apne pyaar ke bare mein bataya tha What was his answer?"

Aisha signed and replied, "I never told him, I knew if I told him about my love he will definitely feel guilty of not being able to love me, which I didn't want, aur waise bhi its not necessary that if you love someone then that person also loves you back,"

Sameer asked, "You should have told him just for once, maybe he too has feelings for you"

Aisha replied,"Nahi sir...agar aisa hota toh definitely mujhe pata chalta...I know him...aur rahi baat unhe batane ki toh mein nahi chahti ki woh meri wajah se guilty feel kare, that's it,"

"Per tum hi ne kaha na, to be loved is great', shayad tumahare pyar se wo bhi tumse pyar karne lagta"

"kisi ko aise pyar nehi kara sakte Sameer, pyar to apne ap hota hain, kabhi wapas milta hain, kabhi nehi,"

"fir tum shaurya se kaise pyar karogi?"

Aisha looked at him shocked. Again he had done it. He had stroke the right chord. She looked away, blinking her eyelids to control her tears.

Sameer asked, "Tum uss se bohat pyaar karti ho na abhi bhi"

Aisha was tongue tied on what to reply bcoz it was true that she still loved him.

Sameer got his answer as 'Yes' by her silence & said, "Its ok"...Aisha looked at him confusingly. He continued, "mujhe mera jawab mil gaya,"

A small pause followed. Aisha was biting her lips controlling her paining heart, when she heard Sameer laugh aloud. She looked at him confused and he leaned back on the bench, looking into the sky,

"kitni ajeeb baat hain na Aisha, tum jisse pyar karti ho woh tumhe dost manta hain, aur jisse tum dost manti ho, wo tumse pyar karta hain. Where will all this end up Aisha?" he looked at her, there was concern and hurt, both visible in his eyes. Aisha was now scared to even look at him. Did she mistaken to understand him. No, its high time, nothing could change by his sudden appearance. She closed her eyes and composed herself.

Aisha replied smilingly, "Mein yeh toh nahi janti ki unko kabhi bhula paungi ya nahi par itna jaroor janti hu ki mein Shaurya ko kabhi yeh sab feel nahi hone dungi & I know he too understands & will give me sometime & space"

Sameer was happy by her so much understanding & a true care for her friend, she didn't want to make that man feel guilty whom she loved unconditionally & that's why she left him without even telling him about her feeling, he felt proud of her.

While thinking this a smile had appeared on his face, Aisha noticed it & said, "Kya soch rahe hai sir"

Sameer replied, "Kuch nahi"...After a moment silence he asked, "Kuch puchu tumse"

Aishs replied with smile, "Haan"

Sameer replied, "Kya tum abhi bhi uske contact mein ho"

Aisha replied mindlessly, "Pichle kafi mahino se nahi thi but aaj unse baat hui"...soon she realized her slip & before she can correct it her phone started ringing, showing a call from home.

She picked up the call, "Hello"

Other side, "-----"

Aisha, "Haan Maa, mujhe yaad hai"

Other side, "------"

Aisha replied with smile, "Acha theek hai, mein aa rahi hu"

Other side, "------"

Aisha, "Haan baba...bas aade ghante mein aa rahi hu"

Other side, "-----"

Aisha, "Haan theek hai, ok, bye"

After cutting the call, she looked at him & before he asked about her slip, she said, "Sir, mein chalti hu, bohat saare kaam hai"

Sameer too nodded with smile bcoz he know how many works are needed to be done on the day of marriage.

Aisha stood up to go but stopped & said, "Sir"

Sameer also stood to go back to hotel & with her calling he replied, "Haan"

"aap kab Mumbai wapas ja rahe hain?'"

"kal subah ki flight hain, kyu?"

Aisha replied hesitatingly, "I know thoda ajeeb hai but still aaj meri shaadi hai aur mujhe bohat khushi hogi agar aap shaadi mein aaye toh, mere pass abhi invitation card nahi hai but still I invite you to come to my marriage"

Sameer replied, "No need of any formality Aisha but I need to attend a seminar aur usme late ho jayega,"

Aisha didn't said anything & fell silent, he understood that & replied, "But still mein try karonga"

Aisha with smile gave him address & said, "I vll be waiting for you"

Sameer said, "Aisha...agar nahi aa paya toh ...Congratulations...And have a happy married life"

Aisha knew that he said from his heart & replied, "Thank you Sir"

And with that both bid bye to each other.

With this I end this TS...as somethings are better to be left unsaid...Sameer never came to know about Aisha's feelings for him & its better in some way also...he only knows that Aisha love someone else but whom he dont know not even after this meeting & as someone has said Love cant be happen in a day...it true in Raesha case...😃😃😃
