Arjun knew what he had heard and he had to rush to Sakshi...
And his footsteps stopped seeing Sakshi... in a simple translucent white petticoat... which reflected her creamy skin - glowing in the moonlight... washing his shirt and pant...
The petticoat barely reached her knees and she slowly went inside the lake, he saw her shudder... the waterfall providing a beautiful music...
If he had married her... wow... maybe then in the lake he would have been with her... caressing her slender body... her head thrown back in ecstasy... and maybe that petticoat would have been thrown...
"SHUT UP!!" his mind berated him for thinking such lowly...
All the comments on Sakshi calling him lusty were coming true... and this is so not what his mother taught him...
He closed his eyes and turned to the other side... he was surprised to find himself panting... his heart accelerated to an enormous level...
He was surprised that what attracted him wasn't merely her figure... but her twinkling eyes... the slight redness of her perky nose... her soft cheeks... her warm smile.. her strength... confidence... what was she? And what was happening to him?
But then he remembered her big doe shaped eyes.. there weren't water droplets there... it was tears...
He sighed and sat on the ground... then he remembered something... he turned back slightly and saw her flipping her wet hair left right.. in the lake...
The petticoat had turned transparent due to the getting wet in the water... thank heavens she wasn't turning his side... he could see her creamy back.. she had a good shoulder line.. workout? Well that would explain the bruise on his jaw...
And then he noticed the blue marks on her petite slender figure... all given by him...
He hissed in frustration... but he lost every resolve as she dipped again in water... almost hypnotized... He removed his slippers on the rocks and went inside the lake... the coolness of the still water did nothing to removed the heat inside him...
He took a dip as well... if it would help... but it failed terribly...
He went closer and closer to her... the water reaching till his chest... when Sakshi rose... and gasped huskily seeing him... "Arjun..."
Arjun held her wet shoulders... Sakshi shuddered in his touch.. he kept her in water... she wanted to kick him... and shout... but her limbs and vocal cords royally betrayed her...
Or maybe for the fact... seeing him drenched took away her senses... or rather.. his orbs... they were dark and wide... but... she saw something in those eyes... something... different...
He slowly turned her around... her back facing him... her petticoat drenched to nothing but a translucent layer sticking to her body... highlighting every curve of her body...
Arjun breathed in slowly... she tensed up feeling his warm breathe on her neck... he slowly shifted her hair aside... exposing her creamy shoulder...
She shifted her eyes lower... and clenched her fists... they were still in the lake.. and then... through the reflection she saw... he was opening the buttons of his shirt... she became paranoid... she looked here and there... after a few seconds she felt her cold back touch his sculpted figure... her eyes closed for half a second as she found her skin blazing as it felt his chest, abs...
She closed her eyes shut... and tried to scream.. but nothing came off... then she looked below and realized.. if he saw her.. oh God.. the material had become transparent in water.. oh no.. he could see her totally...
And as if her fear coming true he laced his hands into hers... his lips touching her ears... "Guide me to your waist Sakshi..." he whispered huskily...
She didn't realized when her trembling fingers gripped his and kept his hand on her trembling soft belly...
Oh no... her body was not listening to her mind!
His eyes opened on feeling her fingers in the water and placing it over her soft stomach...
He took in a deep breathe... sending chills up Sakshi's spine...
And then in a swift action she found herself wearing his black shirt and up in his arms...
He literally ran out of the lake with her... and from the water a snake jumped open...
"Aah!!" Sakshi screamed in fear... hiding herself in the bare crook of his neck...
He held her tighter and ran as fast as possible... he winced in pain... but then stopped... he heard some other noises... Sakshi had clutched his bare shoulders tightly...
None of them were aware how close they were...
Sakshi peeped at his orbs... he found his sanity slipping away seeing her doe shaped eyes peeping at him... first of all Sakshi was cold... and wet... and over that he could feel soft figure her as he carried her.. and her pretty eyes... he could just look at them for his lifetime...
Oh God.. he was so going to fall sick now!
Sakshi too had a tough time here... she wanted to hate him but couldn't... he just saved her life...
He cautiously reached the jeep and put her in... opening his suitcase he passes whatever he finds to Sakshi... a full shirt and half-pants...
Sakshi slipped on those while he closed his eyes and looked aside...
Rubbing her wet hair with the given towel she looked at a wet... and half clothed Arjun... her eyes widened at that as for the first time she saw his figure... when he started cringing in pain...
"Arjun... kya hua?" she asked... a big stone had pierced into his foot while running... she slowly got out of the jeep... rolled his shirt's big sleeves 5 times... then did it reach her elbows... and bent down...
"No Sakshi... please no... Maa kehti thi ki ghar ki ladkiyan neeche nahi jaatein..." he said and Sakshi just stared at him...confused... perplexed...
"Arjun... I have a lot to discuss as of now... so just shut up and let me do my job..." she snapped at him and swiftly removed the stone and washed the wound... and placed some tissues there...
After a few minutes silence... Sakshi handed him a shirt and towel and asked him to change while she looked away...
After drying himself he found Sakshi looking at him... for answers...
Both sat in front of the jeep... "I was sitting here... looking at Gausiya... when I heard the sound a snake... I remembered that you had gone to bathe as well... and being near water I was sure that something would be there... toh main waha gaya to warn you.." Arjun said and Sakshi's eyes widened... had he seen her when she was changing into the petticoat???
"Nahi... you were in water by then..." Arjun answered her silent question... she breathed in relief... he smiled a little...
Clearing his throat "Then I saw that the water was too still... aur paani itna still tab hota hai.. when there is an anaconda... so I went to warn you... aur tum tab paani se utt ne waali thi toh I..." both of them looked away embarrassed...
"Thanks Arjun..." Sakshi said and took a blanket up her knees...
Sakshi thought... if she.. in shock would stand up from the water without realizing her state... then Arjun would have seen her... completely... and that is why he turned her around...
She didn't realize when she found her palms covering her face... when something hit her head...
"Arjun?" she asked...
"Hm..." he answered without opening his eyes...
"Why did you tell me to guide your hands to my waist?" she blurted out...
Arjun immediately opened his eyes... "So... as to I could put the shirt... I didn't know... tum peeche mudi hui thi.. toh.." he averted his eyes...
Sakshi turned into a deeper shade of red as she realized that didn't want to touch her at the wrong place...
Arjun was just about to close his eyes when he heard her sweet voice... "Arjun?"
"Bolo na Sakshi... main jaga hua hoon..." he answered and kept his arm on his head... how could he tell her that he was literally on a suicide point where matters of the heart were concerned...
"Who are you Arjun? At one point you want to rape me... when there are no chances of doing so... aur dusre point main you save me - honorably... and didn't even glance at me jab tumhare paas saare raaste the mujhse forcefully..." Sakshi's voice trailed off when she found Arjun putting his head on his hand...
"Sakshi... there was a reason why I forced myself on you... a week ago... ab bi bhi hain... par dil nahi maanta... to do that with you... though you are still on my menu for revenge..." Arjun said blatantly...
"Par Arjun... that line... ki Maa kehti hai ki ghar ki ladkyian... it shows your upbringing... you are not used to this kidnapping and sh*t... in fact I wouldn't be shocked of you are found to be a normal person with humble dwelling..." Sakshi protested...
"Ab ke liye aur sawaal mat poocho... kal... mere dost ke waha jaake I will tell you everything... I am sorry for what I did that day... I am.." he said softly and turned around...
Sakshi was not convinced... but she kept her mouth shut... she quietly pulled up her scarf and closed her eyes...
For the first time she slept... knowing that Arjun would be awake as well...
"Dhyaan se soch Princy... kuch yaad hai ki subha ya phir kabhi kuch..." Bhabi asked...
"Haan!!! Ek baat yaad aayi!" I jumped in excitement...
"Kya hua tha?" she asked...
"Suno.." I said..
I woke up in the dead of the night... Appi was sleeping... and I saw that Arjun bhai was awake... just simply staring at my sleeping Appi... he pulled up her blanket to her shoulder...
But Arjun bhai awake and Appi sleeping... wait... that was impossible...
"Appi kabhi nahi soti jab tak yeh jaga hua rehta hai..." I thought...
I slowly pulled my blanket back and the bottle fell on the jeep... Appi and Arjun bhai turned back to me... I immediately yawned and acted as if I was in deep sleep...
"Gosh... yeh toh bilkul meri tarha hai!" Arjun bhai laughed...
"Tumhari tarha..." Appi asked...
"Good night Sakshi..." Arjun bhai said suddenly and turned around to sleep...
"Hmm..." Appi nodded and turned to the other side to sleep...
"Yaar... Princy... yeh Arjun toh tujhse kuch zyaada hi pyaar aa raha hai.." Ayesha bhabi complained...
"Haan toh.." I said...
"Waise... he didn't do anything with you guys?" Ayesha bhabi asked...
"Kya aap dukhi ho rahi hai that he did nothing!" I asked at bhabi... shocked...
"Nahi.. mera matlab hai... ki yeh change... how... you guys became comfortable... kaise?" Ayesha bhabi asked..
"We all became affected with a psychological stuff..." I said...
