"ARJUN!" a horrified scream erupted from Sameer's throat... everyone stills for half a second... looking at each other in utter confusion... and shock...

Arjun stands still... shocked... when he feels a warm liquid on his chest... he pants and looks down further... and his fears manifest in front of him... it's Sakshi who is shot!

"Sakshi!" his rasped voice chokes...

"Ayesha... Tina... Chotu... area clear karo.. abhi!" Sameer instructs them as they scurry away in encounters...

"Done Sir... Chotu ne sabko arrest karwa diya hai.. right now they are being sent to jail... aur maine hospital ko call kar diya hai... let's take them immediately..." Ayesha said...

Arjun lifted Sakshi in his arms and held her gently as his most precious gift... ushering her to get up...

Tina sat muted... she was too shocked to respond...

Sameer drove like a maniac... he could sense an angry Arjun growling behind him... lest he say that a beast would be unleashed in him...

Arjun darted intense gazes to the wounded lady in his arms... he knew her feelings... but how cold she go to such an extent... he's used to bullets! But he wouldn't be able to tolerate a scratch on her... never!

He placed his lips on her forehead... "Don't you dare go away from me... samjhi ya samjhaaun..." his eyes were red and moist...

The minute they reached towards the hospital Vikram and Sakshi were admitted...

Arjun sat quietly... his hand clasping and unclasping... if a gaze could kill a man today thousands would have died indeed...

He stared at the idol in front of him... Tina sat next to him.. too shaken up... however she kept on muttering the God's name...

"TUmhe ispe bharosa hai?" he asked angrily and startled Tina...

"Yehi toh hai jo un dono ko bacha sakta hai..." she whispered softly...

Arjun gave a yeah right look and walked off... Tina sighed... she could never really understand him... she closed her eyes again and prayed to the Lords to restore their lives...

The doctor came out of the operation theatre...

"Don't worry... dono hi stable hai.. bas ek aur operation karna padega... they would be fine then..." the Doctor reassured them and left...

Arjun sighed in relief... he bit back his tears... wiping his face with his hanky he sat on the metal chair... perhaps there is someone above... perhaps...

His blood boiled on thinking about the person responsible for Sakshi and Vikram's state... he jerked away from his thoughts as a warm hand clasped his shoulder...

"Arjun... calm down... Sakshi is safe..." Sameer reassured...

"Waise get your wounds stitched up..." Sameer told...

"Nahi... I ain't moving from here till she waked up and looks at me..." Arjun said defiantly... on the other hand Tina too put forth the same conditions...

Ayesha and Sameer sighed...

"Aur Arjun sir the minute she sees you soaked in her blood and full of gashes... she would die of a heart attack... well if you want her to die that's another question..." Ayesha said sarcastically...

"Hmm..." Arjun nodded...and left... likewise even Tina left...

"So strange ne... I doubt that Arjun would have been so vocal had this accident not taken place..." Sameer sighed as Ayesha hugged him lightly...

"Hmm... pyaar ka apna waqt hota hai... I just pray ki yeh dono jald se jald theek ho jaye... aur phir we will decide about the colors of their love... I am afraid Sam agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh?" she said quietly...

"Ssh... hua toh nahi na... that's all that matters..." he patted her back...

Arjun came back in half an hour... his wounds dabbed in Dettol... and wearing a fresh shirt and track pants...

He sat on the metallic chair... cracking his knuckles every now and then... his eyes were still slightly red... he sniffed a little bit and took in a cup of.. coffee...

His instincts told him that he had looked over something... what... what... what...

He rested his face in his palms and took in a deep breathe...

A ghostly laugh reverberated in the cold room...

"Pata nahi kyun yeh police log emergency pe apna logic nahi use karta..." Sikandar grinned...

"Aisa kya hua boss?" one of his men asked...

"Kuch nahi.. bas unfortunately kal kisi ek member ki death ho jayegi!" Sikandar grinned and threw away the rubric cube...

Perfectly solved...

In the operation room..

Sakshi struggled to get her breath back... finally to the relief of many doctors she started respiring naturally...

"Sir... aap baki ka equipments laaye... I would handle the rest of the things for now..." one doctor assured...

As he picked up the stitches he looked at the sleeping beauty in front...

"It's terrible that I would have to kill you..." he chuckled and went towards the box to take out a specialized injection...

Precap : Arjun clasped his hands for the umpteenth time...

Something was wrong...

"Arjun... ek operation... simple bullet nikaalna itna waqt kyun lag raha hai?" Sameer asked...

When suddenly it dawned to him... "Damn It... kahi.. Sakshi ki jaan... khatr..." his horrified eyes met the pale blue wall...
