Days passed by and Sakshi had started showing her true excellence in the job... that is apart from teasing her team and day dreaming at her boss ;)

As usual VIkram was passing by whistling a little more loudly as Tina came closer... "Yeh chand sa roshan chehra... zulfon ka rang sunehra..." Vikram sang and pulled er towards him to see Ayesha looking amused at him there!!!

"Yeh jheaaa.. AAA!!! Wrong number!" Vikram left before Rathore could damn his future... walking near a smirking Tina he continued "Yeh jheel si neel si aankhein" he said naughtily and grabbed her waist pulling her close...

"Vikki... kya kar rahe ho! Log dekh lenge!" Tina said embarrassed and tried to push Vikram away but he held on to her...

"Ab tumhe kaise chod doon!" he said enacting the 60's villain...

"Shut up! Waise uss drug ke case se kuch mila... koi suraag ya kuch... iss case ne poora gumrah karke chod diya hai..." Tina said in a tensed manner and sat down...

"Hey Tina... relax... sach main if you ask me I feel something is wrong with the informer..." Vikram wracked his head... then seeing Tina stressed he smiled and slightly massaged her head... "Tina before everything hum dost hai... batao kya hai..." Vikram asked...

"Vikram... bhook lagi hai!" Tina pouted and Vikram started laughing...

"Theek hai par iss baar main pay nahi karne waala!" Vikram said and dragged Tina to the canteen...

Giggling they walked when Vikram saw the watchman talking on the phone "Uffo Tina dekh na watchman bhi khula romance karta hai - sirf tu hai jo band bajati hai!" Vikram complained..

"Shut up Vikram! Woh watchman seriously baat karr raha hai! Par tum! Jaha par dekho flirt karte rehte ho, tumhara kuch nahi hone waala!" Tina shook her head and walked all the way to the canteen...

VIkram just stood smiling when he hit with Sameer "Damn it!" Sameer cursed on colliding...

"I know sir if I was Ayesha bhabi tab toh Damn it nahi hota." Vikram grinned while Sameer shook his head disbelievingly...

"Waise sir... matlab kuch hafton main shadi hai... are you sure.. hehe..." Vikram asked...

Sakshi came and overheard the conversation "Arrey issme sure na hone ki baat kaha hai! Shadi kitni pyaari hoti hai - Sameer imagine - Ayesha in shadi ka joda... tum maang main sindoor bhar rahe ho... saath phere le rahe ho... phir greh pravesh... phir hum log nek maange ge... phir tum kamre main jaate ho..." Sameer was smiling and lost in his dreams...

"Phir?" Sameer asked dreamily...

"Aage ka scene tere dreams main hi rakh - kyunki uska theoretical aur practical explanation tu sirf Ayesha ko hi de sakta hai!" Arjun kept his hand on Sameer's shoulder...

"Arrey Arjun!! Na main toh soch raha tha about reception... arrey raat main main toh tum logo ki saath bitavunga - baate karenge!" Sameer said embarrassed...

Arjun showed an "as if" look to Sameer!

"Haan andar joh aap aur Ayesha FIFA world khelego woh as if humain pata hi nahi!" Vikram muttered and Sakshi burst into laughter 🤣 (shefu - this line for u!)

"But sir ji... shadi ke baad na saare armaan aasoon main beh gaye! Pehle se achcha setting na karo - phir toh gaya!" Vikram warned Sameer...

"Tumhe toh bada pata hai iss ke baare main..." Arjun said looking at Vikram...

Vikram pulled up his collars while Arjun continued "Wah Vikram mujhe pata hi nahi tha!"

"Kya sir?" Vikram asked...

"Ki hum ETF main nahi balki love guru ki yaha hoon - dhyaan kaha hai tum logo ka! Aur Sakshi - he he karke hasso baad main - report dena ka iraada hai kya? In my cabin.. NOW!" Arjun barked nd rushed in his cabin with Sakshi running behind saying "Arjun woh main report dene waali hi hoon... arrey sach main!"

Sameer chuckled and went to the conference room when Vikram looked at the watchman again when he noticed that it had been close to twenty minutes and still he was talking... something clicked in VIkram...

He walked next to the watchman and the phone slipped from his hand as Vikram pushed the watchman "Arrey dada sorry!" Vikram said and picked up the phone and rubbed it on his jacket and gave it to the watchman back...

"Acha kiya I did that... wait ek watchman ke paas 10 saal puraana Nokia E100 (doubt if it exists) phone... iska umar toh kuch 25 lagta hai... ab toh bak na hi padega watchman sahab..." Vikram frowned and looked at the man in front...

Man 1 : Itna der kyun laga raha hai? Jo baat karni thi woh ab tak kiya kyun nahi?

Man 2 : Sorry - par pata nahi... bas kuch din main kaam ho jaana chahiye...

Man 1 : It better...

Tina was very tensed, she heard that the ETF had failed in something... she looked up and thought that a clue was in her hand but she was missing it...

She turned to see Sakshi lost somewhere... "Sakshi.. SAKSHI?" Tina called...

"huh.. Haan... bolo Tina?" Sakshi answered...

"Kaha khoi hui ho?" Tina said...

"Aaj mere wajeh se ek bachche ki mauth hui - woh drug rackets thi na... I couldn't recall the place... phir at the end moment yaad aaya tha... but it was too late... phirse maine kisiko bacha nahi payi... itna gussa aata hai - jab sab kuch hote hue bhi kuch nahi kar sakti... saare kamyaabi ki kya fayda agar sahi jaga utilize na kar sako..." Sakshi said angrily and wiped out her angry tears running out of her cabin...

Tina sighed... poor Sakshi - it was not her entire fault... there was a certain misunderstanding... that's when Ayesha came in signaling Tina that she saw Sakshi's mood and they should try to cheer her mood...

"Arjun sir ne usse bohot daanta... he got so furious ki poocho mat..." Ayesha whispered to Tina... "Pata nahi woh samajta kyun nahi ki Sakshi ko aur bhi lagta hai jab Arjun sir khud hi daant ta hai..." Ayesha told and TIna agreed...

Arjun was in his room furious... when Sameer walked in "Arjun... itna gussa nahi karna chahiye tha - tujhe pata hai na ki yeh hum sab ki ghalti thi... akeli Sakshi ki nahi... he said...

"Hmm... it's fine... she should understand her fault..." Arjun told and sat in his chair while Sameer threw his hands up in the air "Great Arjun! Daal de uske sar pe aur zyaada guilt.. waisi bhi kab se ro rahi thi... Ayesha ne bataya mujhe... she is feeling bad - aur uske upar tune jitna chillaya uske upar!" Sameer argued...

"Uffo! I know Sam!!! Just shut up and leave please..." Arjun said...

"May I come in?" a soft voice said...

"Yeah" Arjun said and Sakshi came with a file... "yaha rahe files... report file kar diya..." her eyes were puffy and swollen... her nose had turned pink and her cheeks had turned pink as well...

Now Arjun started feeling guilty... he didn't exactly mean to shout... "Sakshi..." he called and softly caught her hand as she passed the file...

Sakshi immediately pulled her hand back and said "Sorry... ainda se I will be more responsible... I really didn't want this to happen really..." Sakshi couldn't stop the tears from coming out and ran out of the cabin...

Arjun just rose and stared at her running away... her tears hurt him a lot...

Sameer patted Arjun on the shoulder... "Arjun... I think yeh time hai ki tujhe samaj main aa jaye ki tere dil kya keh raha hai... go to her... tune usse daanta.. ab woh bas tab hi khush hogi jab tu uske paas jayega... go..." Sameer said...

Arjun dashed out of the cabin while Sameer grinned "Beta... lagta hai tera proposal jald hi aane waala hai... chalo Sameer tere liye behtar hai... agar in dono ka jid ho jaye toh yeh dono mere aur Ayesha ke beech main kabab ka haddi thodi na banenge!" He smiled... but truly he was happy for her friend...

Ayesha was going to go to Sakshi to hug her when she saw Arjun approaching...

Arjun saw Sakshi huddled up to a corner and sobbing silently...

"Sakshi..." he said softly...

"Aur daantoge? I am really sorry Arjun...I always feel like a failure Arjun... bacha ke bhi bacha nahi paayi... kyun main kisiko bhi justice nahi de sakti... har darwaaza band kyun hota hai - jab ladna chahti hoon toh saath kyun nahi deta... yeh duniya itni berehem kyun hai..." Sakshi weeped and huddled herself tightly far away as Arjun came closer to her...

He took her hand in his and pulled her closer...

"Please mera baat sunoge... I am very sorry Sakshi... mujhe tumse iss tarah baat nahi karna chahiye tha... actually I felt guilty and I had to vent out... aur saamne tum thi... I am sorry Sakshi... please mujhe maaf kardo... and Sakshi you are not a failure... just know ki kuch samay we don't have it in our hands... you are trying your level best to deliver justice..." Arjun motioned her to come closer and she hugged him like a small child...

He knew there was something and he would find that out but for now he let that rest...

Arjun patted her back till she calmed down...

"Maaf kardiya Sakshi?" Arjun asked...

"Hmm... kabka." she muttered and then looked at him... suddenly it dawned that both of them were in a rather intimate position... she slowly tried to turn aside when she felt Arjun gazing at her...

Her cheeks started turning crimson... "Kya hua?" he whispered huskily...

"Woh.. main..." she looked down as Arjun slowly wiped away her tears... with his lips... he slowly sucked away her tears and kissed her round and soft cheek... he rested his lips on the corners of the mouth...

Sakshi had become absolutely silent... suddenly her phone rang... she blushed furiously and picked up her phone - it was from Sameer...

She immediately ran into the cabin smiling... and Arjun's heart suddenly felt light...

Throughout the case proceedings Arjun and Sakshi kept on stealing glances at each other...

However in tying to catch Sakshi's hand he caught up catching Ayesha's hand...

Ayesha thought that Sameer caught but in fact he was discussing... seeing Arjun look at Sakshi for a reaction Ayesha started singing... "Kahi pe nigaah hai kahi pe nishaana!" Arjun immediately jerked away the hand and looked at Ayesha a bit embarrassed...

Ayesha whispered to Sakshi "Toh madam - poora aashiq ban gayi tu huh?"

"Shut up Ayesha aisa kuch nahi hai..." Sakshi said flustered...

"Acha... Arjun sahab was kissing the air na?" Ayesha said...

"AYESHA!" Sakshi looked at her with big eyes and red cheeks...

"He was.. jus.. just consoling..." Sakshi fumbled...

Aha! "Ab dekh.." Ayesha said and made Sakshi's hand linger near Arjun's... he gripped it instantly...

"TOh madam, tu bhi accept karle ki kuch kuch hota hai!" Ayesha teased Sakshi... while she blushed furiously...

"Boss ETF ne shuru kar diya iss case ko investigate karne ke lye..." a man said

"Saqib chinta mat karo... yeh case toh yaha hi hona chahiye..." the man grinned...

"Matlab?" Saqib said.. limping... he did not have one foot...

"Yeh ek proxy case hai... ETF ka countdown shuru... kyunki bhai bhi pohoch chuka hai..." the man grinned and left...

"Oh God... ab toh ETF ko koi bhi nahi bacha sakta..."

"Ahem!" Vikram cleared his throat and broke the conversation...

"Guys... something is wrong.." VIkram said...

"Kya?" Arjun asked...

"Sir... I guess there is a bu... let's move out... chalo kahi ache jagah pe jaate hai..." Vikram signaled Sameer and Arjun to follow...

Everyone silently followed him out...

Upon reaching the basement he said " Sir kuch bohot garbar hai... iss case main we are getting defeat on every aspect... yeh thida unusual nahi laga?"

Arjun frowned "Hmm... woh bachcha marr gaya just before we caught the link...drugs ke saath uss elaaka ka koi taaluq nahi..."

Sameer added "Exactly... aur iss case ka kahi par koi links hi nahi lag raha hain - saare false reports aa rahe hain..."

Ayesha told "Sir.. kahi koi hum pe tab nahi laga raha hai?"

Sakshi "Aisa kaun ho sakta hai... jo humare aana jaana pe poora dhyaan de..." she contemplated...

Vikram's eyes widened... "Arjun sir... Sameer sir... watchman ko pakdo jald hi!"

"What?" both said...

"Sir main baad main samjhaunga!" Vikram said...

The trio ran but the watchman had escaped...

Chotu and Shree were out for some investigation and saw a man similar to their watchman but having a mustache talk to someone... their curiosity increased they followed him quietly when Sakshi informed them about the watchman..

They immediately brought the man along with them...

Chotu meanwhile took a personal enquiry with the watchman...

"Vikram... yeh sab kab samaj aaya?" Arjun asked...

"Sir uss din main Tina se baat kar raha tha" Vikram started and Shree muttered "Woh tu always karta hai..."

Vikram glared at Shree and continued "Ki Tina ne bataya ki woh watchman kitna concentratedly baat kar raha hai... I noticed that after 20 minutes he kept on speaking... ab yeh baat khatka mujhe... that day itself I had a small tracking chip with me joh Shree ne diya tha mujhe... so I went near that watchman... an jab uska phone girra I was surprised to see an ancient Nokia model ka phone... now for a young lad of 25 woh itna puraana phone kyun use karega... toh I inserted the chip and sent some of my informers across the town to know the particulars ke aise phone kaha kaha milte hai.."

Shree continued "Aur sir uss chip ke zariye hum uske call trace kar sake... aur sir heraani ki baat thi ki jab bhi hum nikalte the kisi jageh peh toh wohi pe ek phone call hota tha... in short his phone calls were in Ghatkopar, Andheri aur Mulund..."

Sakshi said "Arrey Shree yahi par laash mili thi humain!"

Liza cut in "Aur ajeeb baat yeh hai ki sirf local drugs ki administration se yeh bachche marre... aur sir jis warehouse pe humain shak tha for illegal sampling - waha toh we got some of the highest quality drugs..."

Tina added "haan sar aur research desk se pata chala hai ki joh companies in "exotic" narcotics ke supply karte hai - usually they don't have dealings with smaller products..."

Sameer frowned "Kuch choot raha hai Rawte... kahi yeh..."

Arjun agreed and said "Hum you are right... humai gumrah kiya jaa raha hai..."

Sakshi said "Matlab Arjun ki yeh ek proxy case hai!"

Arjun nodded in agreement and went to the man who was duly rewarded by Chotu "Bata... kis ke liye kaam karta hai..."

The watchman was already half dead... he blurted out "Sik..kandar..."

She stood seething.. it was unbearable now... how.. how could people stoop so low...

She felt anger surge through every part if her body... it's time justice is delivered...

When she had received the test results... her suspicions were true... her di had been...

But by only one man... but he had literally tortured her to no end...

She remembered the way her di screamed at night crying and howling... pulling up her blanket to cover herself...

Hope was lost... no one blo**y wanted to fight against SIkandar...

She remembered walking down the hall..

Flashback...

I walked when I felt someone following... by their footsteps and shadows I figured out it was two...

My hands clenched and I led them to an alley...

Purposely...

As I reached the end I felt a hand on my shoulder...

"Toh tum uski behen ho right?" one man said gruffly...

"Sikandar?" I whispered in shock...

"Nahi... woh toh tumhari didi pe dil laga diya hai... hum unke left hand man - Shaqib... par kya baat thi teri di main... uff uski awaaz... kya chillayi jab boss unhe kamre main legaye... darwaza band nahi tha..." he said

I passed him a disgusting look and balled my fists...

"Arrey baad main jaan na nahi chahogi kya.. suno... hum dikha teh hai na... aur zyaada hoshiyaari mat kar... ab issi waqt main tere ghar main humara aadmi hai... tere yaha se ek kadam aur waha humara boss teri di ke saath phirse... oh pata nahi na... aise teri jaisi hi safed badan thi ...boss ne dupatta nikaala... aur kuch hi der baad uske kameez kamre ke bahar aur uska patyala bhi... boss ne hi humko bulaaya aur kaha ki hum yeh kapde leke jaaye... haye kya romantic scene tha... dono blanket ki neeche... aur achanak se zor zor se chilaane lagi... aah uuh.. par humain toh ab iss dupatte se hi kaam chalaana hoga..." he said and pulled my dupatta...

I stood numb and frozen... tears were spilling and I heard him quietly... he signaled his chamcha to go out and keep the alley empty... "Tu utni awaaz nahi karegi na... achi ladki... main utna der bhi nahi lagaunga... bas teen chaar ghante... waha toh bhabijaan aur boss ne kitne der laga diya pata hai tujhe?" He asked and drew my hand closer to him and hugged me... I remained silent just noticing that the other man was out of sight and I felt this disgusting man caressing me...

"Dus ghante..." he laughed and was about to kiss my neck...

That was it...

"Dupatta lena zaroori hai." I sobbed out..

"Ab jab kapde nahi rahenge toh..." he grinned and I smiled back...

"Bohot jald hi bina kapde ke hi rahega..." I spat out...

"Matlab?" he asked wickedly and I kicked him in his stomach... before he could scream I gagged him with my dupatta...

I emptied the entire dust bin and found an old alcoholic bottle... I crashed it on his head... I was seething in anger... tears didn't stop from coming out of my eyes.. I just made a sound to make the other guy feel that everything is going according to the plan...

Soon I tied him to a street light...

I used him as my personal punch bag...

The I ripped his shirt an pant - left his boxers to hide his modesty...

I picked up a pole and hit it on his shin with full force...

Grabbing his hair I said... "Kya keh raha tha tu? Safed badan!" I broke his foot...

"Phir... dono ek hi blanket ke neeche..." I growled and shoved a glass shard into his stomach... twisting it... in and out... repeatedly... blood gushed out and he twisted his head left and right in agony...

"Chilla rahi thi woh - zor zor se... pata hai log kab chillate hai?" I barked at him and removed the tape...

Taking the broken bottle I hit him there... right blo**y there... he screamed in pain... "Ab ban... enjoy kar aur zyaada..." I said coldly and removed the glass piece... carrying my tattered dupatta I ran out and shoved the glass shards on the throat of the other man... he died instantly...

I went back to that man and said "Tera saathi toh marr gaya! Bol yeh SIkandar kya karta hai? Aur ab kaha hai?" I asked...

"Drugs, mafia - underworld... sab kuch... ab.. in... Europe.." he spluttered out... "Pa... par k..koi records nahi..."

"Agar issme ek baat bhi jhooti nikli... toh matt bhool ki meri aakhri naam kya hai... mere baap ko maarne ke baad bhi mujhe nahi tod sake ga... na hi di ko... yeh aakhir ka naam yaad main rak..." I shot at him...

"Anand" I growled.
