Chapter 3

She put her sleeping baby on the window seat and sat in the middle one... as she tried to put the handbag up she felt a warm hand helping her... a familiar scent hit her... but it felt cozy, warm, protective...

She turned around to see Arjun helping her out "Deja vu!" her mind exclaimed...

"Hai Gannu ji.. main iske baare main kya soch rahi hoon.." she thought looking down...

She subconsciously smiled and said thanks... she turned a bit away to crash back to him as the edge of the scarf was attached to his jacket's zip...

They couldn't stand on the way as many more people were coming so they shifted in and Sakshi was almost crushed into Arjun...

"Awkward..." She felt and realized that her cheeks had turned warm... suddenly the logo of the flight became very interesting to her... she kept on staring at that as Arjun tried to remove the cloth of his zip..

As Arjun successfully removed it he saw Sakshi looking at another side... totally ignoring his face... keeping her head low "Hein... ab uss taraf mud ke kyun dekh rahi hai... main utna bura bhi nahi hoon dikhne main... Rathore de poochta hoon..." Arjun thought when Rathore's confused face flashed in front of his eyes...

"Bhool ja!" Arjun muttered..

"Wait iski gaal laal kyun hai? What happened to this TV serial drama queen...?" he thought...

Sakshi looked aside... anywhere but his face when she noticed him looking at her intently... "Shoot!" she looked down again when she noticed a slight smirk on his face...

"Arjun.. dekhna band karo aur meri scarf ko chudwaao!" She commanded...

Arjun raised his eyebrow... "Woh toh main kab ka chod chuka hoon... tum tabse idhar udhar dekh rahi ho!" he reasoned

"Wo..wo..woh.. time pass! Ab jao yaha se.. jao.. and wait tum iss flight main kya kar rahe ho?" Sakshi asked highly irritated...

"Help karne ka zamaana hi nahi raha!" Arjun muttered angrily

"Excuse me!" Sakshi said...

"Aur kitna baar excuse karoon?" Arjun retorted back...

"Haaw!" Sakshi said and pouted... "Oye kya kar rahe ho iss flight main?"

"Sakshi.. insaan flight main chapati banane aate hai right? Isn't it pretty obvious ke I am on board this flight for Mumbai?" Arjun rolled his eyes

"How dare you be sarcastic!" she scowled

"Kyunki kuch logo ko common sense nahi hoti.. tedi tarha baat karo, tab jaake baat samaj main aati hai!" Arjun sneered...

"Tumne abhi kaha ke mere paas common sense nahi! Aur mujhse baat karne ke liye tumhe teda banna padega!" Sakshi scowled once again...

"Maine logo ke baare main kaha... tum apni aap ko agar un main se include karoon toh isme mera kya fault hai?" Arjun replied angrily..

Muski had got up thanks to the fight of her mumma and... daali cum lude cum jacket uncle!

"Come on mumma... tum nahi haal shakte! Lowdy (rowdy) uncle.. meli mumma ko undeleshti... unelesh... uffo... woh mat karna!" she gritted her tiny teeth...

Sameer walked in smiling when he said "Oh no!"

"Kya hua?" Ayesha asked

"Arrey Arjun aur Sakshi!" he grumbled going towards the fighting birds out there...

"Matlab jhagda!" Ayesha shook her head and walked towards them as well...

Meanwhile Arjun and Sakshi were still fighting over the pettiest issues possible.. however unaware that one hand of hers was still clutching his jacket so as to keep balance...

Then Arjun turned away upset when he saw an adorably cute baby staring no literally glaring at him!

He turned back to find Sakshi glaring at him!

"Lagta hai yeh dono rishtedaar hai! Ek hi glaring styles!" Arjun thought and said again "Dekho Sakshi mujhe tumse aur baat ke liye koi dilchasbi nahi hai! Main toh bas madat kar raha tha aur tum ho ki!"

"Toh thank you! Aur kitne baar batavun... waise tum koi Tom Cruise nahi ho... tumse baat karne main mujhe bhi koi dilchasbi nahi hai!" She flared her nose and looked away... still clutching him...

"Really!" Arjun said and pointed to her clutched hand on his jacket...

Sakshi turned beet red and quickly removed her hand away... and tried to walk off... and obviously lost her balance...

Arjun immediately gripped her waist and pulled her straight against him...

Both felt, especially Sakshi as if a 500000 Volt current blazed in her body...

Arjun looked straight into her eyes... Sakshi too looked straight into his intense eyes... at some corner of their hearts an old familiar rhythm played...

"Haila.. Liza yeh Thakur Gabbar - Ram Leela kaise ban gaye!" Chotu whispered to Liza...

"Haan re - Chotu tu sahi bolta hai!" Shree answered back...

"Oye tu kabse Liza ke naam pe jawaab dena shuru kiya!" Chotu said...

"Chup ho jao tum dono! Damn It! Yeh Rawte aur Sakshi forever ek saath wahan atke rahenge.. main jaake bulaata hoon..." Sameer said

"Atakne do na sir - waise hi shadi ke baad sys ka focus toh wahan hi rahenge aur humare liye hi behtar hoga!" Liza laughed an hi fived Chotu and Shree...

"Rawte - chalo - tumhara seat 19 A hai.." Sameer shook Arjun out of their trance..

"Haan toh" Arjun replied - forgetting the fact that he was still gripping Sakshi...

"Sir tum ab 15 B main ho - Sakshi ko pakde hue..." Ayesha said - trying hard not to laugh at a flustered Sakshi...

"Oh woh.. pata hai mujhe!" Arjun said and walked away with Sameer while Ayesha waved a bye to Sakshi... then looking at Muski she said "Aww.. such a cute baby.. yaar Sakshi you will enjoy your flight! Such a cute kid, hai na!" Ayesha smiled at Muski...

"Alley yeh aunty kitna sweet hai.. meli taleef kalti hai!" Muski thought excitedly and gave one of her biggest smile to Ayesha...

After everyone sat at their respective seats.. Sakshi sat down...

"Yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe.. yeh dil.. yeh bechaini... nahi Sakshi... just concentrate... tu aisi bhatak nahi sakti... par.. .chod na yaar.. tu bhi na!" Sakshi shook her head and led out a breath for her journey...

"Arjun.. what's going on?" his mind asked.. then he looked at his side to see a ... wait.. a red Rathore? he was at the moment having an eyelock with Ayesha...

"Rathore..." Arjun called

"Ratore!"

"Huh Ay... Rawte?" Sameer said...

"You... fine?" Arjun asked

"Ya! Absolutely!" Sameer said and looked aside...

Flashback

At the waiting area

Sameer laughed heartily and accidentally caught Ayesha's hand and made her sit next to him...

Ayesha just looked on when Sameer looked away.. immediately forgetting the laughter... also forgetting of having removing his hand from hers ;)

"Woh.." Sameer started and then looked here and there...

Ayesha looked at the computer screen an smiled as well!

"Oh so yeh baat hai!" Ayesha smiled!

The only reason being that there was joining letter of Sakshi in ETF!!!!

"Sir... Arjun si aur Sakshi - ek saath!" Ayesha laughed!

"Yehi toh baat hai Ayesha! Ab bomb phodna waala hai - jald hi!" Sameer smiled in agreement and finished his coffee in one gulp..

As he walked away Ayesha called him "Sir"

"Haan Ayesha?" Sameer asked

"Woh coffee" she said signaling his lips...

"Oh" he smiled embarrassed and wiped his lips... but still there was a little bit of the cream left on his moustache...

Ayesha walked in front and took a neatly folded tissue from her bag and wiped his mouth..

Smiling she walked out...

But Sameer just kept on smiling...

That's when Arjun called him back to present...

Present...

Sakshi felt restless... her sister's death... another person was responsible for it.. he had to die... her father's death... another person responsible for it... her ruined life... another person responsible for it...

How many people did she have to tackle in her life...

Suddenly she noticed Muski giggling over a particular scene of a cartoon movie - Nemo...

"Kya hua baby?" Sakshi asked lovingly while patting her head...

"Woh mumma dekho na... sab baby fish ek dekhte hai... aul silf ek naam... kitna ajeeb hai... sab ek dikhte hai aul ek sab ki talha!" Muski giggled but that left Sakshi some food for thought...

"Kya woh sab log alag hai ya woh saare alag log ek hi insaan hai?" Sakshi thought...

"Par kaise- ek hai narcotics, dusra hai betrayal aur teesri laparwayi... kaise linked ho sakte hai? she wracked her brain and then left towards the washroom...

While going by she saw Arjun looking into distant thought... "Pata nahi bhagwan sabko itni mushkil waqt kyun dete hai?" she thought and their gazes met for a fraction of second... she flashed a small smile and he just looked away...

As she waited near the washroom door she thought "So expected from Arjun! Smile se allergy hai!"

When suddenly a hand brushed near her waist...

Her breath hitched...

"Sarthak!" she whispered and turned around haunted...

She walked around the passage of the plane searching for him... she knew his touch too well... that had to be him...

She just stood near her seat... her eyes turning moist and panting... flashes of her haunted past troubling her...

"PAPA!!!" Sakshi screamed looking at a collapsed body near her flat's door...

Running through hospital passages...

"Nahi.. tum yeh... GET OUT!" she howled at him..

Dropping on her floor devastated...

She came back to present when an air-hostess gently called her..

"Huh..ye..yes am fine.." she mumbled softly and returned to her seat...

"Issko kya hua?" Arjun thought as he noticed the rapid changes on her face... first a warm colour - then a formal greet - then her face turned deathly pale - then dazed...

"Kuch toh choot raha hai Arjun.. par kya?" Arjun thought...

"But tu uske baare main kyun soch raha hai.. why her?" his mind thought...

"Ugh! mere zindagi main tumse hi pyaar karna tha?" Sakshi swallowed the lump in her throat...

"Why... why you?" she softly cried hugging her baby daughter

Next day

"Iss baar Mumbai sheher nahi bachega... aur uss ACP Rawte bhi kuch nahi kar payega!" A man led out an evil laughter...

"Boss suna hai koyi naya insaan ETF join kar raha ya rahi hai.." his sidekick informed.

"Toh uska details nikaalon." The man ordered

"Boss yehi toh problem hai - protected information... koi details nahi hai - kaun hai... kaha se hai.. kaunsi position kuch nahi! Aur baaki ke log ko bhi kuch nahi pata hai!" The sidekick answered...

"Kya?" the man growled...

"Yeh insaan ho kaun sakta hai?" He thought...

"Sakshi... aah... abhi bhi yaad hai mujhe teri hasi... tere baahon.. teri khushbu... tere mulaayam haath... phool jaise hoth... jheel jaise aankhein" A man said while he relaxed on his seat...

"Mere nazar se nahi bach sakti ho tum... nafrat karna haq hai tumhara... kyunki pyaar bhi toh utni hi karti ho na?" he smiled...

"Par main bura nahi hoon..." he said gravely... a tear forming at the corner of his eyes...

"Muski kitni pyaar hai... kash hum ek saath ek parivaar hoke milte... ab bhi yaad hai ki mere chune se kaisa lagta hai..." he smiled...

"Ab toh tum mere saath hi rahogi... Ya duniya main hi nahi rahogi." he smiled wickedly
