PART 14 A

After escorting IG both arjun & sameer came back to the conference room & saw rest of the ream chatting sameer announced "guys hame kal IG sir ne invite kiya hai so be ready hum sabko chalna hai & apna jo bhi pending work hai aaj khatam kar loo so that kal koi kaam pending na rahe" All nodded & resumed their work & later in next 2 hours all were done with the reports & all pending works.

After a while sameer called the day off & all went back to their respective places. Arjun & riya both reached house & both were totally exhausted as it was very hectic day. Riya went to change & arjun made tea for himself & coffee for riya.

After freshup she came to main hall & found arjun sitting with tray of tea & coffee Arjun said "aaj bahut thak gayi na?"

Riya nodded & arjun smiled "Lo coffee pelo acchha lagega" she smiled & pickied up her Mug & start sipping the coffee & said "Thanks iski bahut zarrorat thi"

arjun smiled at her & she said "kal aap challenge na party main?"

Arjun said "Haan kyu tum nahin jaaogi kya? Aur mujhe aur rathore ko IG sir ne order diya hai aana hi padega wo bhi apni patni ke saath"

Riya smiled at this & said "par aapko parties pasand nahin hai na?"

Arjun said "Haan mujhe shor sharaba bilkul accha nahin lagta hamari zindagi main action kaafi hai aur kisi party ki zarrorat hi kya hai"

Riya said giggling "Haan baat to appki theek hai par kabhi kabhi dusro ke liye bhi kuch karna padta hai aapse ek request karoon aap please waha mooh bana ke alag mat baith jaayiyega IG sir nain kitne pyar se hum sabko bulaya hai unhe accha nahin lagega"

Arjun said "theek hai I will try par main promise nahin kar sakta" Riya smiled at him & after having some light dinner they went to sleep.

Next morning Riya & arjun woke up & started their usual day & after a while sumitra entered & asked them to het ready for breakfast Arjun want to bath & riya had just came out after having a bath.

She called sumitra & said "Kaki aapki help chahiye thi"

Sumitra said "Kya baat hai beta kya madat chahiye?"

riya said hesitantly "Kaki aaj hamare IG sir keyaha party hai unki wedding anniversary hai aaj aur hum sabko bulaya hai"

Sumitra said "haan to isme meri kya madat chahiye beta?"

riya said "kaki normally main kuch bhi pehen leti par ab mujhe aise party main saree pehenni chahiye na par mujhe pehenna nahin aata kuch saari hai mere paas kya aap meri help kar doge"

sumitra smiled & said "zarror karrongi beta aaj party ke liye tumhe main hi tayyiyaar karrongi"

riya smiled n said hugging sumitra"Thnaks Kaki"

Arjun & riya both went to office after having their breakfast & started their normal work at ETF. Luckily there was no case reported so all were busy in paperworks. When it was 7 Pm sameer called the day off & asked them to be there at the party by 8:30 PM. All dispersed to their places to get ready for the party.

Riya picked up simple & elegant chiffon saree with a bit deep cut blouse & a matching chain with pendent & earings to go with it. She went to sumitra & she made her ready for the party she really looked beautiful in the saree just as angle from the heaven. Riya entered her house after getting ready here arjun was calling her to leave as it was getting late.

Arjuns voice got struck in his throat when he saw riya standing in front of her clad in a beautiful saree & open hairs. Arjun was looking at her with wide eyes open & that made her more conscious she cleared her throat to break her trance n said "kya hua aap aise kyu dekh rahe hai main acchi nahin lag rahi kya ?"

That broke arjun trance & he said "Bahut acchi lag rahi hoo par ek kami hai"

before riya could react arjun took a pinch of sindoor & filled her partition & made her wear a mangalsutra n said pulling her bit closer "ab lag rahi hai aap Mrs Riya arjun rawte"

They went to the party all the way riya was having a tough time controlling her erratic heart beats it became more difficult for her when she saw arjun is gaping her at regular intervals. After 30 minutes of drive they reached at the party venue & entered the party ETF team had already arrived & all were waiting for arjun & riya to come.

As soon as riya entered shree & chotu were shocked to see her in sarre & exclaimed "wow ri! Tu bahut pyari lag rahi hai" she smiled at them & aisha & liza also joined in complimenting her.

She was really enjying the party all gathered n entire ETF team wished IG & his wife on the dice. IG introduced ETF members to his wife seeing riya she said "what a pretty Doll arjun tum bahut lucky hoo riya ke roop main ek bahut payara jeevan saathi mila hai tumhe"

Arjun smiled & all were enjoying the party in their own style. Sameer & aisha were talking to each other & giving each other some time whch they couldn't do in daily routine. Chotu tasted all the dishes of party & poor shree was trying hard to get some good company from girls but to his hard luck he didn't got anyone so he finally had to settle with liza. After a while when all couples were called on the dance floor to dance sameer & aisha went to the dance floor & started enjoying themselves. IG & his wife also joined.

Riya too wanted that she could also dance with arjun but she knew that arjun will never ask her for a dance, he hated parties so thinking all that was out of question. Suddenly IG asked Arjun & riya to join the dance floor. Arjun forwarded his hand towards riya to ask her for a dance she too forwarded her hand & arjun clutched it & they both went to dance floor. Arjun snaked his strong arms around her bare & slender waist sending a strong sensation in her entire body & they started to sway to the beautiful song playing:

All ETF people were stunned to see all this but it was happy surprise for all of them that finally arjun has accepted riya somewhere in his heart & they could see it.

PART 14 B

Song ended & their trance was broken by loud cheers & claps around. Riya was blushing hard & after that she left the dance floor hurridly to calm herself. Arjuns closeness & his proximity were already taking a toll on her sanity & she could not believe that arjun was so close to her & can dance like this too.

Here arjun state was no better too he has almost lost himself in the innocent beauty standing next to him arjun cursed himself for getting carried away & also understood riya awkwardness as it all happened in the party. He went to search riya who was missing after the dance & spotted her at the corner with blushing red face & closed eyes trying to be normal.

He went close to her & said in a polite voice "Riya ! yaha kya kar rahi hoo"

riya jearked back & saw arjun standing there she passed a weak smile & lowering her eyes replied "vo..kuch nahin bas main.." cutting her short

arjun said "I am sorry riya shayad mujhe aisa nahin karna chahiye tha tumhe sabke saamne bahut awkward feel hua hoga na"

riya kept mum & felt a bit sad too that arjun was regretting their closeness but didn't showed hin & walked to the main party hall with him & joined the dinner. All were enjoying the dinner & riya said to arjun that she will just arrange a plate for him & he can go & relax with rest of the team members. Arjun nodded & went to Sameer & aisha having dinner.

Sameer asked "rawte riya kahah hai?"

Arjun said "Bas khana lene gayi hai aati hogi" & all three resumed their dinner.

Here riya was arranging plate for arjun when an inspector totally sloshed under the effect of alcohol grabbed riyas wrist. She first glared at him as she didn't want any scene as he was totally drunk. She just excused herself pushing him aside but when it happened couple of times she lost her cool & was about to give him a tight slap but before that arjun grabbed his collar & gave a tight punch on his face & said "shayad tumhe kisi ne tameez nahin sikhayai ye kaafi hoga aur agli baar meri patni keaas paas bhi nazar aaye to main tumhe jaan se maar doonga"

Riya said controlling arjun "Arjun sir please chaliye yaha se isse lad ke koi fayda nahin piya hua hai aur hosh main nahin hai chaliye"

Arjun said "Nahin riya is ghatiya insaan ko iski had pata hooni chahiye aur yadi nahin pata hai to main acche se samjha deta hoon" hearing loud voice from arjun all accumulated there & arjun was gaping that person like a hungry tiger & he would have killed him any moment if sameer & chotu would have not holded him back.

Arjun said wiggling in the hold "rathod chodo mujhe aaj isse main nahin chodunga"

the man replied in a drunken tone "kyu maine kya kiya hai? Main bhi wahi karna chahta hoon jotum chahte hoo iska fayda uthana tabhi to tumne iski haalat ki parwaah na karte hue shadi kar lee isse to kya shadi kar lene se tum apne asliyat chupa loge? Ab main wahi karna chahta hoon to tumhe kya pareshani hai Tumne to iski haalat pe bhi taras nahin aaya" as soon as he finished

riya slapped him hard across his face & said "Main samajhti thi ki tum nashe main hoo is liye kuch nahin kaha par tum jaise ghatiya insaan kabhi kisi rishte ko samajh nahin sakte aur khabardaar mere pati ke baare main ek aur lavs kaha warna ab ki baar tumhe main khud aisi saza doongi ki kabhi kisi ki taraf aankh utha ke nahin dekh sakooge tum" arjun was stunned by riyas words & riya was extremely heart broken by the words of that person .

She didn't want to break down in front of everyone so she left the party n sprited out of the hall in no time. Arjun came out of his trance when he saw riya leaving the party hall with teary eyes.

He went outside the party following riya but found her taking the taxi he tried to stop her but all in vain she went straight leaving arjun behind. Arjun was tensed at riyas behavior as she was very sensitive & arjun didn't want her to take any wrong step. He followed her taxi with his SUV riya stooped at arjun house & went inside crying & wiping her tears she went to washroom to wash her face but couldn't control herself she opened the shower & slummed down on the ground under flowing water to calm her senses arjun reached his house following riya but as soon as he entered there was no sign of riya he searched her everywhere & was calling her name finally he heard sobs & sound of shower in wash room. He knocked the door voicing out her name but she didn't answer arjun open the door & saw riya criying bitterly in wet clothes under the shower.

Arjun voiced out bit angrily "ye kya pagalpan hai riya? Chalo yaha se"he grabbed the towel & closed the shower tap & held her shoulders & made her stand & voiced out politly "Riya"

riya looked at him with teary eyes n hugged him tight & started crying as if taking out all her pain. Arjun too hugged her back & his one hand held her wet bare waist protectively & other hand patting her almost bare back as she was wearing a bit deep cut blouse.

Riya gasped at his sudden touch trying to control her sobs. Arjun could feel her slender body trembling badly in his embrace. He gave her the towel n wiped her hairs & face properly. He covered her with towel & made her sit on the chair in the room she was still sobbing clutching his shirt & her head rested on his shoulders.

He made her look into his deep eyes n said calmly "Riya ! idhar dekho"

she looked into his eyes showing all the love & care & arjun said "riya kisi ke kuch kehne se nahi hamara rishta badlega aur nahi hamare jazbaat ye rishta humara hai au riste hame nibhana hai kissi aur ko isme bolne ka koi haqq nahin hai ye tum aur main tai karenge ki kya karna hai to please aise logo ki baat sunkar apna dil mat dukhao"

Riya said with teary eyes "main jaanti hoon sir par aap batayiye isme meri aur aapki kya galti hai? Shayad humara rishta bhawaan ne joda hai aur kahin na kahin humne use maan bhi liya hai par aaj us ghatiya aadmi nain jo humare rishte ka mazaak banaya hai main bilkul bardasht nahin kar paayi"

Arjun hugged riya & said "please shant ho jao riya aise gire hue insaan ki baat ka kya bura manna" & then kissed her forehead gently & riya closes her eyes in anticipation & arjun continues "tum hum sabke liye bahut special ho riya so please aise logo ki baato ka effect mat hone do khud par"

riya nodded & arjun said cheekly "waise yadi thodi der au raise rahi to bukhaar ho jaayega jaao change kar loo aur main bhi kar leta hoon" then she realized that she was standing in wet clothes n made arjun wet too. She blushed at her condition & went to change.
