PART 12 A

Arjun was totally stunned to say anything as soon as riya walked out of his room he slumed on the chair with his plams on his head.

He could not believe what riya said Arjuns mind voice "Hey bhagwaan riya ko maine bahut hurt kiya hai aur use bahut bura laga hai aur lagna bhi chahiye maine socha tha ki wo mujhse baat karegi is rishte ke baare main jab wo comfortable hogi par lagta hai wo to mera hi wait kar rahi thi baat shuru karne ke liye par main ab kya karoon shyad mujhe riya ki baat maan leni chahiye yadi ye rishta ho bhi jaata to main shayad riya ko wo pyar nahin de pata jispar uska haqq hai riya ka kehna bhi theek hai halaki wo ye baat jaanti hai ki main Roshni se bahut pyar karta hoon par ab wo meri patni bhi hai aur use bilkul bura lagega shayad riya jo keh rahi hai wahi theek hai hame ab alag ho jaana chahiye riya ke saamne uski saari zindigi padi hai aur wo mujhse kahin accha ladka deserve karti hai shayad mera aur riya ka saath itnahi tha" thinking this tears started rolling down his cheeks.

Here riya was also upset n was sobbing in her room her mind voice "Aaj shayad jo maine arjun sir se kahah unhe bahut bura laga hoga par shayad yahi sahi hai hamara unchaha rishta kisis ko kushi nahin de sakta main chahu ya nahin par arjun sir mujhse pyar nahin karte aur na main unhe majboor kar sakti hoon ki wo mujhse pyar kare isliye unse door jaana hi theek hoga kyuki mere yaha rehne se unhe bhi takleef hogi aur mujhe bhi is liye mera ye faisla shayad sahi hai sir ko apni tanhayi pyari hai aur mujhe mera kaam " both were thinking for each other.

Their trance was broken by sumitras emtry who wa calling them for dinner. She came in & said "Arjun chjalo khana tayyiyar hai aao khana kha loo" Arjun was lost in his thoughts & didn't responded to her,sumitra called his name in a loud voice & that broke his trance

sumitra said kya baat hai beta koi pareshani hai? Tum kahah khoye hue ho?"

Arjun said in a soft voice "Kaki riya ne kahah hai ki wo mujhse divorce chahti hai aaj maine uska bahut dil dukhaya"

Sumitra was surprised n said "Kya riya tumse alag hona chahti hai? Par kyu beta aur kya hua hai tum dono ke beech?"

Arjun took a deep sigh & told what all have happened since yesterday sumitra was bit shocked & sad too as she had expected arjun & riya to accept this marriage as they are very mature people .

she asked "Arjun tune use samjhaya kyu nahin? Ye sab theek nahin hua hai aur usne kahah aur tune maan liya aisa thodi hota hai riya se main baat karti hoon"

Arjun stopped her saying "kaki please rukiye aap riya se kuch nahin kahengi wo already bahut hurt hai aur pareshaan bhi hai aap yadi usse kuch bhi kahengi to theek nahin hoga aur phir aapne kahah tha ki riya ka faisla job hi hoo aap uska saath deengi aur main bhi"

Sumitra said "Haan jaanti hoon maine kahah tha par uska ye faisla bilkul galat hai arjun maine khud dekha hai ki wo is shadi se kush thi shayad pehle kadam ka intizaar kar rahi thi phir achanak ye sab kyu kar rahi hai use ye bhi samajhna hoga ki tumhe bhi samay lagega sab kuch bhool kar aage badne main"

Arjun replied "Kaki par ye bhi to sochiye ki ye shadi uski marzi se nahin hui thi samjhauta kisis rishte ki buniyaad nahin hota hai kaki riya ko poora haqq hai apni zindigi ke baare main decide karne ka main chahta hoon ki wo khule dimaag se faisla kare waise bhi kya main riya ko wakai wo sab de paata jo wo deserve karti hai? Kya mila hai use is shadi se ek mujboori ka rishta ek aisa pati jo usse pyar nahin karta aur.."

cutting him short sumitra replied "achha to badi fikar hai tumhe riya ki? Kyu karte hoo uski fikar tum? Kya lagti hai wo tumhari? Aur tum hi keh rahe ho na ki wo chod ke jaana chahti hai to jaane doon usko to theek hai par uske jaane se kyu itna farak pad raha hai? Kyu pareshaan hai uske jaane se tu bol na"

Arjun was mum he could not answer the questions of sumitra & sumitra said taking a deep breath "dekh beta yadi riya theek hone ke turant baad aisa karti to shayad main samajh leti par ab .. main riya se baat karne jaa rahi hoon" with that she moved in the room of riya.

Arjun tried to stop her but it was all in vain. Sumitra saw riya sobbing on the bed she went to her & put her palm gently on her hairs n voiced out in a mellowed tone "riya beta kya hua?"

riya wiped her tears & said "Kuch nahin kaki"

sumitra smiled & said "accha kuch nahin hua to fir roo kyu rahi hoo?"

Riya could not answer her sumitra said softly "Maine kahah thana beta jab tak main yahah hoon tumhe maa ki kami mehsoos nahin hogi main tujhse bahut naaraaz hoon tune bataya kyu nahin kitum arjun se alag hona chahti hoo main khud sab arrange kar deti."

Riya looked at her with surprise & sumitra said "isme chawkne ki kya baat hai hum sab jaante hai ki tumhari shadi kaise hui aur tum arjun se zayada accha ladka deserve karti hoo"

riya replied without any second thought "Kaki aisi koi baat nahin hai arjun sir bahut acche hai par main unpe kisis unchahe rishte ka boojh nahin daalna chahti hoon wo roshni mam se bahut pyar karte hai shayad unki zindigi main kisi aur ke liye jagah nahin hai isliye main ye kadam uth arahi hoon"

Sumitra said "accha to jab arjun bahut accha hai tumhara khayal bhi rakhta hai par tumse pyar nahin kart aaur tum use chod ke jana chahti hoo to thek hai par tum itni pareshaan kyu hoo?aur ro kyu rahi hoo?"

riya too didn't answer n sumitra said "jawaab do riya kya hua ?"

riya now started fumbling with words "wo ..kaki.."

sumitra smiled & said "riya main batati hoon ki kya hua kal tumhrae patni ke abhimaan ko chot lagi hai kahin na kahin tumne arjun se apne rishte ko sweekaar kar liya tha lekin kal roshini ke liye arjun ka pyar dekhkar tumhe laga ki ki arjun tumse pyar nahin karta aur ye rishta nahin chahta isliye tum dukhi hoo hai na par tumne kabhi ye socha hai ki arjun kab tak yaadoo ke sahare jiyega kya use nayi zindigi ka haqq nahin hai?"

riya said "par kaki arjun sir mujhse pyar nahin karte "

sumitra said "accha to jaa zara jaa ke shakal dekh uski teri tarha uska bhi yahi haal hai dekh beta main tum dono maa jaise hoon is liye keh rahi hoon kit um dono ko is rishte ko samay dena chahiye par aakhri faisla tum logo ko karna hai kyuki zindigi tum logo ko saath bitani hai"

Riya thought for a while & said "Kaki par main kya karron arjun sir ne ek baar bhi mujhse baat nahin kari thi kal jab maine unhe baat karte suna to laga ki ye sab wo majboori main kar rahe hai is liye maine alag hone ka socha"

Sumitra said "haan beta main manthi hoon ko hua wo sab haalat ke chalte hua par yaad rakho rishte bahut mushkil se bante hai beta aur usse bhi mushkil hota hai unhe nibhana tum dono samajhdar hoo to ye main tumpe chodti hoon ki is rishte ko tumhe nibhana hai ya nahin main hamesha tumhare saath hoon" with that she moved out of the house.

PART 12 B

Sumitra moved to her house & sat beside her husband with a panic face jayantilal glanced at her saying "kya ho gaya tumhara chehra uta kyu gaya?"

sumitra said "ye bacche bhi na bilkul pagal hai"

jayantilala said "ab kya hua?"

Sumitra said "ye Arjun aur riya dono ko ab divorce lena hai wo bhi is liye ki inhe lagta hai ki he dono ek dusre se pyar nahin karte aura lag hone main hi unki kushi hai"

Jayanti lal looked confused & said "Sumitra kya bool rahi hoo poori baat batao kya hua ?"

sumitra told him everything what happened between arjun & riya & also told him that she will not let that happen so easily.

Jayantilal thought & said "sumitra main jaanta hoon kitum undono se bahut pyar karti hoo par zindigi unki hai to faisla to unka hoga na hum unhe majboor to nahin kar sakte "

sumitra said "to hum kya khade khade tamasha dekhte rahe hum dekhiye ji mana arjun aur riya sahi hai par sahi log sahi faisle bhi le ye zarrori nahin hum kam se kam unhe samjha to sakte hai na?"

jayanti lal with a smile "par hamare samjhane ka unpe koi asar nahin hoga sumitra hum pyar chahte hai dono ke beech majboori nahin haina"

Sumitra said "haan par ab kya kare"

jayantilal said "dekho sumitra dono ko sochne ke liye waqt chahiye aur unhe ye mehsoos karne do kijab wo alag honge to kya hoga kyuki jab aap kisi pyari cheez ko knone waale hote ho tabhi uski keemat ka ehsaas hota hai yadi dono ekdusre ko vakai pyar karte hai to kuch kehne ki aur kuch karne ki koi zarrorat nahin wo khud hi kuch din main seedhe raah par aa jaayenge"

sumitra said "par ye sab kaam karega kya ?"

jayanti lal said "haan bilkul karega aur hum khud ye sab karenge inko dosto ki bhi madat lenge" sumitra nodded & both of them went to sleep.

Next morning sumitra informed sameer & aisha about all the stuff & sameer was hell angry on both arjun & Riya he said "Kaki ye rawte aur riya ka dimag kharaab ho gaya hai kya jo aise soch rahe hai main khud samjhaunga in dono ko bilkul pagal hai ye log"

sumitra said "beta is liye to tumhe phone kiya hai ki hame unhe koi bhi galat kadam uthane se rokna hai ab bas ek baat dhyan main rakho undonoe se kuch nahin kahoge bas unki haan main haan milana hai hame"

sameer was surprised & said "kaki ye aap kya keh rahi hai?"

Sumitra said "beta bas tum wok arte jaao main janati hoon aur dekha bhi hai ki alag hone ke khayaal se hi kaise haalat ho gayi hai unki is liye hame bas unhe ehsaas karana hai kiwo alag kush nahin reh paayenge"

Sameer nodded & said "theek hai kaki shayad aapki tarkeeb kaam kar jaaye"

sumitra said "tum baaki saathiyo ko bhi khabar kar dena hum baad main bat karenge"

sameer nodded & line went dead after that all reached office 30 minutes before excluding Ariya & sameer told all the things to them & they all decided that they will also try & save their relationship once so that they can be happy.

Soon Arjun & riya too joined the office arjun told sam 7 riya told shree about what they have decided & shree & sameer spoke exactly what kaki had asked them to do & they said clearly that they had to spend the life together & if they are not confortable they can get divorced & sameer too suggested that they should hire a lawyer who can get all the things closed as soon as possible both arjun & riya were bit surprised at the behavior as they never expected their friends to show such kind of ignorance.

Sameer said to arjun "rawte tum chinta mat karo meri jaankari main ek bahut accha family lawyer hai Dinesh Kothari use main bol deta hoon wo tumhara case handle karlega aur saari legal formalities poori ho jaayengi nothing to worry" That evening dinesh Kothari came to their house & after the discussion papers were ready & divorce case was filed on mutual understanding.

All were tensed & specially arjun & riya they were very restless a mere thought of getting seprated from each other was taking a toll on them but they didn't show much as they thought that it will hurt others & moreover it was an unwanted relationship. Well after the case was filed the date of first hearing was after 1 week .

All gathered in the court & the proceeding of the divorce started . Arjun 7 riya both told their point of views to judge separately. Judge was a mature & sansable person n hearing their point of views he called them together n made them sit in front of them.

Judge said "Mrs rawte & Mr rawte main aap dono se kuch sawaal poochna chahta hoon"

arjun & riya both nodded judge said "Arjun ji pehle aapse shuru karte hai ye bataye riya ji favorite color kya hai?"

arjun was bit surprised bur replied "red color"

next question was "riya ji ka favorite dish kya hai?"

Arjun replied "pizza & fish curry"

then he asked "riya ji ka favorite drink kya hai?"

arjun replied "Coffee"

he asked the next question "riya ji ki kamzori kya hai?"

arjun said "wo bahut sensitive hai bahut jaldi react karti hai"

now turning to riya said "riya ji aap bataiye arjun ji ka favorite color"

riya said "white"

then next question "arjun ji ka favorite dish"

riya said "pav bhaji & biryani"

then he asked "Arjun ji ka favorite drink"

she said "chai" n

then he said arjun ji ki kamzori kya hai?"

she said "inhe gussa bahut jaldi aa jaata hai "

judge nodded to them n

then he asked Riya "accha ye batayiye kya indino kissi cheez ko leke aapka arjun se jhgda hua ya unhone koi batmizi ki ya aappar haath uthaya"

riya said "please sir aisa kuch nahin hai Arjun sir bahut acche hai wo aisa kuch nahin karenge jisse mujhe ya kissi aur ko takleef paunche"

then he turned to arjun n said "arjun ji app batayiye kya riya ji ne kabhi aapse galat tarike se baat kari ya aapse jhagda kiya hoo?"

Arjun said "Ji nahin sir riya ek bahut samajhdaar ladki hai aur uske saath main pichle 2 saal se kaam kar raha hoon usne kabhi mujhe palat kar jawaab bhi nahin diya"

Judge smiled n said "to fir pareshani kahah hai aur aap ye sab kyu kar rahe hai?"

both were surprised n judge said "Mujhe yaha 10 saal ho gaye par aise pati patni nahin dekhe jo ek dusre ko acchi tarha jaante hoon aur aapne gaur kiya ki sirf shabd badle the aap dono loog ek hi baat keh rahe the"

Arjun said "dekhiye sir hum ek dusre ko do saal se jaante hai aur is liye ham eek dusre ke baare main sab pata hai hamari shadi kin haalato main hui ye bhi hum aapko bata chuke hai par ab hum chahte hai ki hum is unchahe rishte ko aur na dhoye"

Judge said "Mr rawte main samajh raha hoon par shadi koi khel nahin hota bahut se ghar toote dekhe hai maine kayi vajah hoti hai iski par vo saari vajah main se ek bhi maine aapke rishte main nahin dekhi hai ab main ye faisla leta hoon ki aap dono log ko 8 mahine ka waqt diya jaaye aap saath rah ek dusre ko samajhne ki koshish kare yadi phir bhi app ye rishta nahin nibha paaye to main khud aapka divorce approve kar doonga so u have to spend 8 months together" & Arjun & riya looked at each other surprisingly.
