She was sitting in the centre of a big round bed,with the veil covering her face,her knees crouched and her hands on her knees... The beautiful lehenga spread all over...
The room was lit with scented candles and decorated with rose petals all over the bed...
It was Arjun and Anika's suhaag raat... After surpassing so many troubles and pain,they became one and after some days,they tied the knot today,just few hours back... Everybody was really happy as Arjun and Anika re-united with each other.
Anika was lost in her thoughts when she heard the knob of the door open.Her heart started to beat at a very fast rate.She closed her eyes tightly and calmed her irregular heartbeat by slowly carressing her heart...
She could feel his presence,as he closed the latch of the door and neared her... A deep red colour appeared on her cheeks... He came towards the bed,moved the flower strands at a side and sat opposite to her... He forwarded his hands and lifted the veil off from her face...
Arjun was lost after seeing her in the bridal attire... He kept gazing at her... His powerful gaze surely had an effect on her,which made her head bow down... He kept his finger underneath her chin and slowly,pulled it upwards. Anika looked really gorgeous and beautiful in that red and golden bridal lehenga with all the bridal jewellery... Arjun looked at her with immense love and care,which was very much visible in his eyes...
He took her hands in his and placed a wet kiss on each palm... A warm smile appeared on both faces'... Arjun,then went forward and started to remove the jewellery,slowly,so that it doesnt hurt her.He also left wet kisses on those places,as well...
Anika was feeling at Heaven,when she was in her husband's warm and loving embrace... She thanked her Kanhaji for blessing her with a such an understanding,loving and caring husband. A cute smile appeared on her face... A tear fell from her eye.. Arjun looked at her,trying to understand her actions... She had a smile on her face and placed her head on his shoulder and hugged him tightly. Arjun understood her actions and he also hugged her tightly.
[Flashback: Anika loved Arjun a lot,but,Arjun was adamant on admitting that he didnt love her at all. In front of everyone,he portrayed that,it was just a mere attraction that he felt for her,not Love. That day,Anika's sensitive heart broke into pieces... Months flew by.. Since then,Anika also started avoiding Arjun... She used to go with Rathod sir to the crime spots or to interrogate the criminals... In the middle,she took leave and went to Delhi for some work. In her absence,her work was divided in between,Shree,Chotu and Ayesha,still,Anika helped them through Video calling and e-mailing the details... After few days,she returned with a wedding card in her hand.She forwarded it to Rathod sir and invited everyone to her wedding which is a week... Everybody was really happy for Anika,as she decided to move on.Arjun was feeling angry and sad also... By now,he also started feeling for her... Days flew by,and,Anika's wedding day came.Ayesha helped Anika to sit down in the wedding dais.The groom and Anika stood up to take the pheras,when suddenly,lights went off... Everybody were scared... Nobody knew,what happened in between the power cut.. As the Panditji asked the groom to move his sehra aside,as he was going to apply the ika,the groom was shocked... He didnt know,what he will do now... Panditji was continuously asking to move the sehra,but,the groom was very adamant... But,somehow,Ayesha took the chance and pulled the sehra.. It was revealed that Arjun was the groom... He swapped the real groom when the power cut took place. Anika was shocked to see Arjun in the place of her groom... Anika looked away from him and stood up from the wedding dais and said, ''Mujhe yeh shaadi nahi karni...'' Everybody,especially,his team and Sameer Rathod,looked at him with murderous eyes and then Arjun explained the whole situation.. Everybody breathed a sigh of relief.. Some days and months flew by... By then,Arjun admitted that he felt for Anika and was madly in Love with her. Arjun proposed her one day,during the function of the Police Officer' Welfare Association and then,announced the date of his wedding with Anika... Anika and Arjun was happy and everybody congratulated them,but,yet,Anika was yet to forgive Arjun... Arjun pleaded before her and she happily forgave him... After few days,wedding preps started and today,just few hours ago,Arjun and Anika were pronounced as a legally married couple...]
''Aaj hum ek hogaye,Arjun... Mujhe vishwas hi nahi horaha hai...'' a teary-eyed,yet a happy Anika voiced out her feelings.
''Haan,Annie... Hum dono ek hogaye... Maine bohut chout pohuchayi hai tumhe,please mujhe maaf kardo... Mujhe andaza hi nahi thha ki tumhe itni dukh aur dard hogi meri ek ''No'' sunne ke baad...'' Arjun told.
