After 6 months: Arjun's Cabin:
Arjun is busy reading file... Sakshi entered opening door breaking silence in his cabin...
"Arjun... Arjun... Aaj kya hai pata hai...???" Sakshi hasten her voice...
"Kya hai Sakshi...???" He questioned reading file...
"Aaj ek monkey ka birthday hai..." She said...
"Toh...??" He said without taking eyes of file...
"Humein celebrate karna chahiye na...??!!!" She said...
"Sakshi, tum pagal hogaye ho..." Arjun said looking at her...
"Mein koi pagal nahi hui hoon... Chalo meri saath..." She closed file and pulled him with her...
"Sakshi, mujhe kaam hai... sham ko DIG sir se meeting hai..." He said walking with her...
"DIG sir ki waha se phone aaya hai... Aaj ka meeting cancel hogaya hai..." She said dragging him to ETF caf...

ETF Caf:
"Happy Birthday Arjun..." His best friends screamed as he entered with Sakshi...
"2 July... My birthday... Mein bhulgaya...??!!!" He kicked his mind...
"Abb pata chala kaunsa monkey ka birthday hai...???" Sakshi teased...
"Accha mein bandar hoon...???" He questioned crossing his hands...
"Koi doubt hai...???" She said looking at him... She ran from there and hid behind Sameer before he could catch her...
Arjun tried to get hold of her but Sakshi played hiding behind Sameer, "Abb tum dono bass karo..." They stopped, "Arjun pehle tum cake kaato..."
Shree brought a delicious vanilla chocolate cake written Happy Birthday Arjun' and placed it on the table... Arjun took knife to cut the cake, where people around are waiting to take a bite of delicious cake...
Before Arjun could place knife on cake, "Ek minute... " Sakshi stopped him...
"Kya hua Sakshi...??" Arjun questioned...
"Make a wish...!!!" She said...
"Mein baccha hoon kya...??? Wish karne ki kya zaroorat hai...???" Arjun made his point of argument...
"Tune aaj hi janam liya na, so aaj ka din tu bacha hi hai... Wish nahi maanga toh cake kaatne ko nahi milega..." She snatched knife from his hands...
"Kya kar raha hai Sakshi...??? Cake kitna delicious lag raha hai..." Chotu said gulping saliva formed in his mouth...
"Mujhe bahot bhook lag raha hai... Cake Kaatne do na..." Shree requested...
"Yaha Arjun sir ka birthday party celebrate karne aaye te Ya Bhukad logon ka langar lagane ne... Har ek gante mein bhook lagta hai tujhe..." Liza commented...
"Cake kaatne ke baad kaun toos toos ke khayega dekhlenge..." Shree reciprocated...
Sakshi hit her head and gave side look to Aisha, "Liza chodo na... Abb toh ladai matt karo..." Aisha said and turned her eyes to Sameer...
"Tum dono ladai band karo..." Sameer said, he turned to Arjun, "Arjun, wish hi toh hai, kar lena yaar..."
"Har chees wish karne se puri hojati toh, zindagi mein adoora pan kabhi nahi hota..." He said...
"Kya pata iss baar adoora pan pura hojaye... Kya pata wish puri hojaye... Ek baar karke toh dekho... Dil se maang ke toh dekho..." Sakshi said looking into his eyes...
Her confidence and hope gave him hope... He closed his eyes and made a wish... He opened his eyes, "Hogaya... wish maang liya... abb cake kaatu..." He forwarded his hand for knife...
She gave him knife... Before he could cut cake, "Ek minute... Ek minute..." She stopped him again... Shree and Chotu looked at her with closet eyes...
"Arjun, jo wish maanga hai woh toh pura hone do..." Sakshi said...
"Matlab...???!!!" He questioned in confusion...
"Ek minute, mein abhi aati hoon..." She said and walked out of caf...

After 5 minutes:
"Sakshi kaha rehgayi...???" Aisha looked at her watch too check time...
"Yeh lo aagayi..." Sameer said and everybody turned their gazes to the entrance...
Sakshi stood with Cheeky smile, "Kaha chali gayi thi...??" Arjun questioned...
"Tera wish puri karne..." She turned to right and sighed...
Woman in elegant saree entered inside with neatly combed hair... Her 50+ age got vanished under her satisfactory smile and teary eyes... Arjun was surprised to see her there...
"Maa..." Escaped his mouth...
"Chaliye Aunty..." Sakshi held her hand brought her to Arjun...
Arjun hugged her tight after many years... Arjun hid his teary eyes under his lashes, but mother's heart flowed tears... She caressed his hair... Arjun broke hug and took her blessings...
"Kaisa hai mera baccha...??" She questioned...
"Teekh hoon maa... aap kaise hai...??"
"Bahot kush hoon... tumhe itne saal baad dekh kar mein bahot kush hoon..." She placed her hand on his left cheek...
Sameer is happy from his heart seeing this... He is happy for his friend... He is happy to see happy days in Arjun's life... Those happy days which are snatched by his sister...
"Dekha... kaha na.. Maang kar toh dekho, pura hojayega..." She said with a lovely smile, "Abb cake kaato..."
Arjun cut cake amidst claps and warm wishes... He fed first piece to his mother... There was happiness spread around... Arjun became kid infront of his mother... Shree, Liza continued their bickerings and Chotu as usually hit his head... Sameer and Liza joined them cool drinks in their hands...
"Sakshi kaha hai...??" Aisha questioned...
"She is talking to her mom... Waha pe hai..." Liza pointed to corner... Sakshi is smiling and jumping talking in phone...
"Mein abhi aata hoon..." Sameer excused...

"Teekhe Mamma... Chalo Bye..." She disconnected call and turned back when she saw Sameer waiting... "Kya hua bhayya...?? Kuch baat karna hai...??"
Sameer treat Sakshi as his little sister... She is pampered by him, saved by him between her and Arjun's fight... She brought back sister feeling in his life... Part of pain filled by Roshini is slowly vanished by happiness spread by Sakshi... He is protective about her...
"Thank you Sakshi... Arjun ko itna kush dekh kar mein bahot kush hoon... 6 mahine pehle tak mein ne jiske aankhon mein dard ke aasu dekha hai, aaj pehli baar uske aankhon mein kushi ki aasu dikhayi de raha hai..." He said looking at him...
"Bhayya, aap apni behen ko Thank you bolonge...?? Mein ne kaha tha na, mein Arjun ki life mein happiness laungi... Mein ne apni promise pura kiya hai... Jab tak uske saath mein hoon, tab tak uske aas pass sadness ko no entry board hi milega..." She giggled...
"Mujhe tum pe pura barosa hai... Kyun ki Arjun dil se kush hai... Uss ne aaj ka birthday bina purane yaadon ko yaad kiye celebrate kiya hai... Aaj hi ke din Roshini ne Arjun ko chod ke chali gayi... Aur yeh baat usse yaad bhi nahi hai... Jo har din usi ki gum mein jeeta tha, aaj who naya kushi mana raha hai..." He said...
"Aur aage bhi, kushiyon se bhari hui zindagi mein woh har subha shuru karega..." She smiled looking at Arjun sitting with his mother...

"Mein tere favorite kheer banake le aayi hoon..." She opened box and gave him...
"Wow maa... Kheer...!! World ka best kheer sirf aap hi bana sakte hai..." He started drinking...
He started coughing... Sakshi came there with glass of water... She made him drink water and patted his back, "Abb teekh ho..." He nodded... She placed glass on table, "Wow... Kheer...!!!! Pata hai meri favorite hai..." She exclaimed...
"Accha... Arjun ka bhi favorite hai..." Arjun's mother (Subashni Rawte) said...
"Aunty, meri kheer kaha hai...???" She asked like a small kid...
"Agli baar pakka pura box tere liye hi laaungi... Kyun ki abb toh pura iss ne kha liya hai..." She said...
"So mean, Mr. Arjun Rawte... Agle baar aunty jab mere liye leke aayenge mein bilkul nahi dungi..." She said...
"Madam..." Sakshi turned as she saw waiter waiting for her to pay...
"Mein abhi aati hoon..." Sakshi said to Arjun and his mother and left from there...
Subashini looked at her and spoke to Arjun, "Sakshi bahot acchi ladki hai... Kal ussne mujhse temple mein mili thi... Mujhe mein itni himmat nahi thi ki mein tere Papa ke khilaaf jaakar tujhse milne aau... Itne saal tak tujhe dekhne ki iccha ko phook dekhar, mujh mein himmat jagakar tujhse milne le aayi..."
Arjun starred at beautiful and lively soul who brought back life into his lifeless life... This New Year was not only beginning of New Year but also beginning of his new life... How can he remember that night when his New life took breath...

Flash Back: New Year Day:
Arjun stood under dark sky with twinkling stars... Sakshi came there and stood beside him...
"Aapko tare ginna pasand hai...??? Mujhe bahot pasand hai..." She said with a smile... He was silent and didn't reply anything...
"Pata hai, saare tare na, uss chaand ki dost hote hai... Kaali aasmaan Taare aur Chaand ki zindagi... Taare saath chodne ke baad bhi Chaand apni zindagi nahi chodta... Zindagi kitna bhi kaala ho, apni chaandni ko barsata hai..." She said turning her to him...
"Mein jaanta hoon aap kya samjhane ki koshish kar rahe hai... Par pyaar karne waalon ko bulna itna aasaan nahi hota... jaha bhi jao unke yaade aapka peecha nahi chodta..." His intense voice narrated his pain...
"Mein samajh sakti hoon..." She said...
"Yeh baat kehna aasaan hai, par samajhna bahot mushkil hai..." He said...
"Mein aapko ek kahani sunao...??" She turned to him but could see no interest or reaction on her question...
She continued, "Ek Ladki thi... Usse rishton se aur zindagi se bahot pyaar hai... Uss ka sapna tha ki uski shaadi dhoom daam se hogi... Uss ne ek ladke se pyaar kiya... Uski Mamma - Pappa ko bhi woh ladka pasand aaya tha... Ladki aur uske parivaar, shaadi ke taiyaariya bhi shuru kar liya hai... Aankhon mein sapne lekar mandap mein baet kar intezaar kar rahi thi..."
"Phir kya hua...???" He questioned to know further...
She gave a sad smile, "Intezaar hi kar thi rahi... Ladke waalon ne shaadi ke mandap chod ke chale gaye..."
"Par kyun...??" He questioned...
"Ladke waalon ke icchaye puri hi nahi ho rahe te... Unn logon ne choti si baat pe jagda kar ke, ladki ki character pe ungli uttaye te... Ladke ne ladki ka saath hi nahi diya... Ladki ne uski aur uski maa- papa ki insult nahi seh payi... Uss ne shaadi thod diya, uss ladke se jiss se woh bahot pyaar karti thi..." She said with brimming tears...
She turned eye balls spreading tears inside eyes not allowing them to flow out, "Uss ladki ka naam kya hai...???" He questioned...
She smiled, "Uss ladki ka naam Sakshi Anand hai..."
He was shocked hearing this... How can someone think that there is painful story behind her sweet smile...
"Yeh sabb hokar 6 mahine hua hai... July 2 ko meri shaai toot gayi thi..." She took a pause, "Mein ne kud ko kamre 2 din band karke rakh liya tha... Mein yakeen hi nahi kar paa rahi thi ki, mein jiss se 2 saal se pyaar karti thi, uss ne mujhe dhoka deke chala gaya... Jiss se mujhe saath ki umeed thi, usne sath hi nahi diya..."
"Aap teekh hai...??" He said placing hand on her hand...
"Actually mujhe uss baat ka dukh hi nahi hota hai... Kyun ki mein ne accept kar liya hai ki uss ne mujhe dhoka diya hai... Mein ne accept kar liya ki uss ne mera saath chod diya hai... Jisse mujhse pyaar nahi, mujhe bhi usse pyaar nahi... Jinhe meri saath ki zaroorat nahi, mujhe bhi unke zaroorat nahi... Jinhe humare phikar nahi, unke liye hum apni zindagi ko kyun roke..." She said shrugging off the lines which were formed on her forehead...
He was silent... Silence ruled around for minutes... In next five minutes New Year will enter their lives...
"Acceptance zindagi ka sabse bada sach hota hai..." She broke silence around... "jab hum kud ko accept karte hai, humare haalat ko accet karte hai, hum zindagi mein aage badte hai... Kal bahot khoobsurat hota hai, agar hum guzra hua dard ko bhool jaate hai... Guzra hua kal se yaad hi karna hai toh kushi ke pal yaad kijiye, dard ke nahi..."
"Mujhe nahi pata mein Roshini ko bhool paunga ya nahi... Uski yaade mera peecha chodunga ya nahi... Par mein aur tootna nahi chahta hoon..." He said starring at stars... "Mujhe lagta tha, mere dard ko koi nahi samajh paayega... Mujhe nahi pata tha ki mujhse bhi bade dard se guzar kar koi apne zindagi mein aage badd raha hai..."
"Mein jeena chahta hoon... Aanee wale kal ko gale lagana chahta hoon... Mere liye yeh mushkil hai... Ha par mein yeh zaroor karna chahta hoon... Kyun ki iss se mere chahne wale aur mein bhi kush rahunga..." He smiled for the first time in the whole evening...
"Thank you so much..." She said...
"Thanks...??? Mujhe kehna chahiye..." He said smiling...
"Mein ne neeche promise kar ke aayi thi ki mein unn logon ko unka purana Arjun waapas kardunga... Pura toh nahi atleast shuru toh hua..."
"Accha... Toh aap promise pura kar rahi thi..." He said...
"Meri matlab woh nahi tha..." She tried to explain...
Arjun laughed and said, "Purana Arjun, Mazak bhi kar leta hai..." She also laughed shaking head...
"Friends...???!!!" He forwarded his hand... She accepted and shook hand...
