Hey guys. It's a sort of solemn day for us, I know.
I don't normally start topics like this. I usually comment on posts or write my stories.
But I just felt like today we all are sharing our opinions and feelings openly and as a family. So I thought why not tell you guys how I've been feeling about this whole Arjun ordeal that has been happening in the past few months.
So I think it all started when Behzaad left the show. We, as fans, had already started noticing the story of Arjun not focusing as much on Arjun and the rest of the characters' past. I think we've definitely not seen a lack of "Give Sakshi more value" posts on this forum and on urlremoved. When Behzaad left, I felt like everyone had given a hint that it may have been a personal reason. We have found out now that he left for his wedding and all. However, had the CVs shown him a reason to stay, I feel like he may have.
Then Siddharth. We obviously know he was unwell near to the end. But, he has said that his character hadnt been upto his expectations. We all noticed that. I did, however, feel that after Behzaad left, and besides Arjun, Shree was given the most importance in the show.
Then news came about Mrunal leaving. This hit me hard. When Sana left, I was blown. Im the kind of person to get very attached to couples. So the end of Ariya marked the end of Arjun for me. (I didnt especially love Shaleen in the beginning. Though I ABSOUTELY adore him now :DDD) I had stopped watching until Mrunal entered. I loved Arakshi. I still do. Mrunal brought me back to the show and she brought me back in full force. When I found out she had quit, I was sincerely upset that Arakshi would no longer be together.
Then... the precap today... this is the most important point I have to make. I love every character of ETF and it pains me to see that end. For me, ARJUN has ended today. But i do think that we should give "Karan-Arjun" a chance. Please hear me out before you get mad. I think for Shaleen, who we can all agree has given sooo much to the show, we should look at these new innings of Arjun as a new show altogether. If we go in with that mindset at least we can give some credit to the hard work that is going to be put in by the new cast members and of course respect Shaleen's wish to stick with this team.
With that I hope I can convince you guys to watch this "new" show that is going to entertain us, Im sure. We can mourn the end of our iconic Arjun and celebrate the impact that its had in our life. And bring in a new show with enthusiasm. Please tell me what you think about this in the comments.
