Part 11:

Disclaimer: The Characters in my story are inspired from the show but the way the react to different situations are purely my imagination. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.

It was already nearly 25 minutes after Shristhi had stormed out of the house angrily. She would never be angry with her for such a long time but today she had not returned. So she went to the garden to bring her back. She searched the entire garden and did not find her daughter. She suddenly saw the gates were open and ran through the streets yelling her daughter's name but couldn't find her. She started panicking and ran back to her house. She stormed into house and was sweating profusely and breathing heavily. Arjun saw her and could sense her panic and came near her and placed his hand on her shoulder. She in a reflex hugged him and started crying as the memories of her past came haunting and the fear of losing Shristhi surfaced. He was shocked and so was Shree.

Saakshi: Meri Shristhi kahin chali gayi. Maine usse bahoot doonda lekin patha nahi kahin hain, Mein uske bina nahi jee sakthi. Agar usse kuch hua tho mein mar jaavoongi. Please Arjun meri bachi ko doondne mein meri madat karo Please.

Saying that she fell on her on her knees and folded her hands before him.

Saakshi: Arjun tum tho har kisi ki problem jatke mein solve karthe ho na. Aaj meri problem bhi solve kar do. Mujhe meri Shristhi lauta do. I can't live without her. Agar kabhi bhi meri kissi bhi baat se tume taqleef pahunchi tho mein haath jodkar maafi maangthi hoon. Please meri madat kar do. Please

He could not bear the sight of her distress. He always wanted her to be happy but the sight of her pain somehow started haunting him lately. He vowed to himself silently that he could do anything to keep her happy and contented. He kneeled down beside her and took her hand in his.

Arjun: Tume maafi magne ki jaroorat nahi hain. Kuch nahi hoga usse. Woh yehi kahi gayi hogi.. Hum usse doond lenge. Aab rona band karo aur Chalo mere saath. I promise you she will be fine

Saying that he slowly wiped her tears and made her stand up. They locked the house and headed towards the gate in search of Shristhi

Arjun (Pointing Towards left side): Shree tum iss taraf jaavo. Mein aur Saakshi doosri taraf jaayenge. Agar tume mili tho mujhe phone kardena.

Shree: Right Sir.

Shree went in the direction specified by Arjun for searching Shristhi. Saakshi and Arjun went in the opposite direction. Arjun was unable to walk fast due to his injury and Saakshi was visibly disturbed and distressed by the sudden disappearance of her daughter. She was half walking and running continuously yelling her daughter's name. She suddenly started to cross the road unaware of the truck heading at high speed along the road. Arjun noticed this at the last moment and pulled her towards him by holding her wrist and the truck missed them by a brief distance. Saakshi landed on him a bit more quickly than Arjun had anticipated and hence lost his balance. Arjun lost his balance and fell back on the ground and Saakshi landed on him. Arjun's hands were wrapped protectively around her waist and Saakshi's hands were around his neck. Both were lost in each other's eyes for a while and Saakshi was the first one to come out of the trance. She got up from the ground and dusted herself and helped him and made sure he was fine.

Part 11(Continued):

Arjun (Angrily): Kya tum pagal ho gayi ho? Truck intni tazhi se aa rahi thi aur tum yeh kya kar rahi thi?

Saakshi: Arjun meine Shree ko wahan beech ki taraf jaathe huye dekha tha. Issi liye wahan jaana tha mujhe. Chalo ab chalkar dekthe hain

Arjun and Saakshi crossed the road and went towards the beach and started to search her. Arjun asked Saakshi to go towards the side where there were many stalls and he went towards the other side. Arjun was looking every corner intently for Shree. He started walking towards the secluded corner of the beach which had a lot of rocks. Arjun somehow instinctively felt that he would find her there and started going there. He walked a bit and found Shristhi sitting on a small rock leaning against another hugging her knees. Her eyes were red conveying that she had been crying for a long time and her face was also in deep shade of red. Arjun had a small smile playing on his lips as he felt she was looking very cute and adorable. He slowly walked towards her and sat beside her. Sensing his presence, she turned herself away from him and moved away from him. Arjun kept on moving towards her and she kept on moving away from him.

Arjun: Hi. Aap yahan kya kar rahi ho?

Shristhi still didn't speak up.

Arjun: Mein aapse hi baat kar raha hoon. Meine aapko Hi bola. Kya aap mujhe Hi nahi bolengi?

Shristhi: Mama ne kaha hai ki strangers se baat nahi karthe.

Arjun: Tho teek hai. Ab mein apne aap ko introduce karva doonga. Mein ACP Arjun Rawte hoon. Aapke Mama ke saath Kaam kartha hoon. Woh kya hain na mera koyi dost nahi hain tho socha ki aapko dost baana doonga. Aap itni cute, beautiful and smart ho. Tho mein sabse kahunga ki mere dost bahut khubsoorat hai. Kya aap mera dost banegi?

Saying this he forwarded his hand towards Shristhi. By then Shristhi had turned towards him and was looking at him as if gauging him. Then she hesitantly forwarded her hand towards him and shook her hand lightly.

Shristhi: Mein Shristhi Anand. Mere mama ke naam Saakshi Anand woh ETF mein kaam karthi hain. Mein Orchids boarding school mein 5A mein padthi hoon. Shristhi hamesha class mein first aathi hain aur running race mein bhi. Shristhi ko drawing aur painting karna pasand hain. Shristhi ko na cartoon dekna bahoot pasand hain.

Shristhi was continuously saying about her school and all her achievements and experiences and was speaking on and on. Arjun for the first time enjoyed someone speaking nonstop for so much time. He felt happy seeing this cute little angel. Finally Shristhi completed her introduction after what seemed like eternity
