Arjun held her shoulders and made her stand.He took her hands in his and put it near his heart.
''Mehsoos kar rahi ho yeh dharkane,Riya. Haan... Yeh dil sirf tumhare liye dharak raha hai aur humesha dharakta rahega.Main janta hu,ki,maine tumse bohut galat pesh aya hu,par,Riya,kya tum mujhe maaf kardogi? Iss akdu ko maaf kardo... Kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi,Riya?''
Riya felt happy and blessed at his confession,but,she was having second thoughts.
"Arjun sir mujhse kitna pyaar karte hai,par,kya main sahi mein unki iss pyaar ki layak hu? Kya meri yeh bimari hum dono ke rishte mein koi daraar payda karegi?"
Arjun kept his hand on her shoulder,thats when she came out of her thoughts.
"Arjun sir,main dekh nahi sakti hu... Aapko nahi lagta ki mujhse shaadi karke aap apni zindagi ko bar..."
The word never came out of her mouth...
Arjun silenced her as he kept his palm on her mouth.
"Bhul ke bhi aisa mat kehna,Riya... Yeh sab buri baatein tumhari mooh mein shobha nahi deti hai... (taking her right hand and keeping it over his chest) Mehsoos kar rahi ho yeh dharkanein kya keh rahi hai? Yeh dharkanein sirf aur sirf tumhari naam le rahi hai aur kehrahi hai ki, "Arjun,apni Riya ko apna le... Usske pyaar ko apna le..." Riya,main tumse be intehaan pyaar karta hu... Haan,yeh sahi hai ki maine apna pyaar kabhi zikar nahi kiya tumse,apni feelings ka bhi zikar nahi kiya tumse... Par,tum toh janti ho na ki main thehra "Akdu" (everybody lets out a giggle,including Riya,in which Arjun is lost) ... Toh,iss "Akdu" ko bolna kaise aata ki usse apni Research Specialist se pyaar hogaya hai? Riya,main tumse vadaa karta hu ki main tumhe zindagi bhar khush rakhunga... Tumpe koi aanch bhi nahi aane dunga... Aur yeh ACP Arjun Rawte ka..."
"Aur yeh ACP Arjun Rawte ka vadaa hai..." Riya said,amidst her tears...
She felt happy because Arjun's honesty and his beautiful confession made her shoo away the second thoughts her brain was developing...
Arjun bent down and took out a box.It had a beautiful diamond solitaire ring... He took it out and held it in his fingers...
Everybody present there was really happy for the Arjun and Riya.
"Riya,kya tum apne dil ke kone mein iss Akdu ko panah dogi? Kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi? I love you,Riya.."
Everybody was looking at Riya and was impatiently waiting for her to say a"YES".
"Haan... Main aapse shaadi karungi... Aur aapki jagah niche nahi,upar hai... Mere dil ke har ek kone mein aap hai... I love you,Arjun... i really do..."
Everybody present in the Cafe clapped for Arjun and Riya...Flower petals rained over them...
Arjun slid that ring into Riya's ring finger of her left hand... She grazed her hands over the ring to feel the emblem of their love...
She had tears of happiness brimming in her eyes,but,Arjun wipeed it with his thumb and placed a kiss on her forehead...
Arjun took her in a warm and loving hug.Riya hugged him tightly,not to let him go,but to let him stay for forever near her heart and herself...
"Riya,toh kya hua ki tum nahi dekh sakti,par,aaj se "Tum Meri Nazar Se Dekhogi..."
Riya nodded and placed a kiss on his cheeks...
"I love you,Arjun..."
"I love you,Riya..."
After the proposal,everybody danced to a soft music which was playing in the background,including Arjun and Riya,who were in each other's warm embrace,promising to be each other...
