Chapter Two(a)

"Kehte hai, jinhe banaya hai ek duje ke liye woh bichar k bhi mil jaate hai'."
ETF head quarters
Saakshi walked in as Rathore, Shree and Chotu were leaving and stopped on their tracks! Shree stared at her in awe where Chotu and Rathore were wondering who she was. Observing that they have Guns and of course Chotu, she knew they're "The" ETF members.
"Saakshi Anand.. Sir" unsure of whom to say this to, she quirked her brow at three of them while saying her name. "Oh! Welcome Saakshi. I believe I can call you by your name?" Said Rathore. "wah! Ladki ki liye itna chivalry!" murmered Shree so that only Chotu'd hear. "Sure Sir." Smiled Saakshi. "I'm Sameer Rathore. ETF chief." Rathore introduced himself while going for a handshake."Well, he seems fine not like typical kharus boss." Saakshi thought with a quip. "Yeh Chotu." Before Chotu could introduce himself, Shree filled in for him. "Chotu?!?" Saakshi thought and giggled a little. Chotu flushed and shrugged."Aur main hu Shreekant desai. But tum mujhe pyaarse Shree bula sakte ho." Said shree with a *Rahul-naam to suna hoga!* look. Saakshi rolled her eyes, grinning inwardly as Shree took her hand in a manlike manner.
"aab tum aa hi gayi ho toh kaam karle thora? I assure you Gossip k liye humhe pay nehi kiya jaata." Rathore bawled suddenly. Well, they have some of their precious time on this useless introduction. Aur pata nehi Raute aab tak kya kya samjha chukka hoga murda ko! Rathore grinned on his own thought.
He left while giving his trademark look to three of them. "I take my words back. Yeh kharoos hi hai!" Saakshi mused loudly. Then looked at the other two embarrassed, biting her tongue. "Ooops, sorry." Shree and Chotu looked at each other and nodded in agreement and said smiling, "You are in! Humari dosti pakki hai."
Saakshi chuckled but her laughter was cut by Rathore's shout.
"Jaldi jao..varna SYS ko milne ka mouka bhi nehi dega yeh Dammit!" Shree warned. "SYS?" Saakshi asked, confused at their code words. "Bohot jald samajh jaoge." Chotu nodded in assurance, while searching for her ID card from the box which was dropped that morning.
She hurriedly grabbed the badge Chotu handed her, murmured a quick thank you and left. She got into the car with Rathore as he had to brief her about the case. Chotu and Shree followed them in a different SUV.

Crime Scene
A lady on her late 20's was brutally murdered and the murderer left her body lying on a deserted highway. She had some sickening cuts all over her body and the worst part was, it was visible that she was abused before being murdered. Arjun was observing the area around it. A deep forest that ends at a different part of the city. There were few houses and shops around that area, other than that it was practically deserted. Arjun noticed a small tea-stall and went to talk the shopkeeper. Two SUV stopped near the crime scene. All four of them got out of the SUV and went near the corpse. Saakshi felt like throwing up but somehow controlled herself. Even though she was a crime journalist and did see a lot of gruesome killings happening in front of her own eye, she still couldn't help but flinch.
She took her diary out to take notes and bending out a little to scrutinize the dead body. How ruthless!, she thought. She then spotted something on the dead body and wanted to flip her a little.. but realized she didn't have any gloves on. She asked one of the forensic guy for a pair but he said he didn't have any extra. But Shree kneeled in, taking pictures on his tablet and told him to look in the SUV. At the same time, Rathod had spotted Arjun. He marched over to Arjun who told him about his findings. The chai wala had heard a car coming at night, around 3am but didn't bother to peep out as it was a highway and cars tend pass by here pretty often. So, no luck with that. Arjun said he was going to the neighborhood to ask if anyone had seen anything. Meanwhile, Saakshi went near the car to grab a pair of rubber gloves. Arjun was coming that way as well. Saakshi was searching for gloves when suddenly Arjun noticed a girl barging in their SUV. Arjun paced up and caught her hand while turning her to face him. Before he could yell at her for assaulting ETF's stuff and before she could use one of her karate technique, their eyes fell on each other's faces. It was like the world has stopped rotating or maybe they got frozen.
Millions of emotions went through them at that moment. Was it Love? or concern, happiness, wonder or anger? She didn't know.. as she couldn't quite pinpoint the emotion.. nor his or hers.
He gripped both of her wrists tightly and pulled them up to. He took a step, pinning her to the SUV..sighing contently, when her breath rapid heartbeats reached his ears and breaths teased his face. He moved closer..until the only their joined hands were the only barrier.. until she felt trembled under his gaze.
They were just staring at each other and making genuine gestures that spoke how much they have missed each other and longed for one another. He opened his mouth to say something.. to tell him how much he missed her. But then no words came out. It was same with her as well. Her eyes welled up and gulped down the bile forming on her throat.
They both looked down to their joined hands and suddenly, the reality hit them.
No, she can't be here, he thought. He turned away from her, leaving her dejected and confused at the same time.
"Oh hell! This is not him. Just one of my bhootiya imagination." she mused loudly. "Which will disappear in 3..2..1"
"Rawte, Saakshi, tum dono waha kya kar rahe ho?" came Rathore's voice."Raute?!" Saakshi whispered, horror-strucked and turned back to see Arjun staring at her.. equally shocked.
"Tum?" He worded while gaping at her with disbelief.
"Tum?" she shrieked as if the earth under her was slipping away.
Chotu, Shree and Rathore looked at them with bewilderment while the duo stared at each other.
"Mission : Arakshi First Meet." Whispered a girly voice for her partner to hear.
"Accomplished." Her partner grinned.
Giving a high-five to each other, Ayesha and Liza emerged and stood silently with the team.

"Tum dono ek dusre ko jaante ho?" came rathore's confused voice. But neither of them replied to their senior but just stared at each other's eyes with the same sentiment while thinking about the day they met first.

Very nice update dear...
An interesting one...

So Sakshi is an ETF member now...thats good...
And they were missing eachother this much for the past four years...so cute...

But years back what happened between them...???
Was that Liza and Aisha who made the mission Arakshi first meet...???
Then how did they knew about Arakshi...????
