Arakshi OS: Aa gale lag jha, Chap2 Pg 14 12/07 - Page 11

I dont really think i may do better than what my sweet Vada Pau wrote, but still i'll try...

This is dedicated to all my lovely Drunky Droolers BBs and then Arakshians( though i'd prefer Rakshians better, it sounds more devilish and sexy )

"She looks beautiful when smiling! I never thought i missed her smiles till lately when she even refused to acknowledge and smile at me!" Arjun said to himself while driving away.

"Yeh kya ho raha hein mera saath!" he said pretty much confused at the feelings the person next to her was arising in him.

He was too confused and in order to hide it, he turned back into his angry and cold mode. He lashed out at Sakshi, "What the hell were you still doing at the office at this time? Couldn't you go back earlier with others?"

Sakshi was shocked at this changed atmosphere, "Now what did i do? He was so sweet a few moments ago!" since she was too happy and wanted to savour the calm and caring Arjun for some time longer, she ignored him and closed his face relaxing with a smile.

Arjun waited for her reply, but when she didnt, he turned to look at her just in time to see her closing her eyes and sporting a nice smile on her face. This smile angered him even worst.

"I know you are hurt? But does that mean you have become deaf too?" he said insultingly, and continued, "By the way? What's with all this drama? Ideally i never ever see you working! But today all of a sudden you were working? And why? Just to get my sympathy and all! Just to prove it on my face and the rest that you can work!"

With each word, Sakshi's calm and smile disappeared till she was frowning and glaring at him.

"Ab mein samjhi! I was wondering how that cold and angry Arjun could have become so caring for me! It never was caring for me! It was just so that you can get another opportunity to insult me!" Sakshi said with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe Arjun's audacity at all, already she was still physically hurt, and now he was bent on destroying the remaining strength she had. She just wanted to shriek and start sobbing like a kid, but her ego prevented her from doing this infront of Arjun.

Arjun on his side, was confused even more. He knew it had been very wrong to lash at her, and her words back at him, had hurt him slightly even more. "Gosh, instead of helping her, i'm hurting her even more!" He was feeling even more guilty now. So he decided to turn off the radio, that way he'd not have the bad luck of opening his mouth, it seemed apart insults nothing caring could come out for Sakshi. And since he didnt want to hurt her more, he opted for some music. But alas his bad luck, when he switched on the radio, the following tunes filled up the vehicle,

Arjun immediately switched off the radio. He had just turned it off when he heard Sakshi saying to him, "Mr Rawte please stop the car!"

Arjun was scared when Sakshi told him that, "Kya hua? Dard ho raha hein? Do you want me to take you to the hospital? he asked.

"Please stop the car!" Sakshi said again more loudly.

A few minutes ago\

She couldn't take anymore, she was too hurt at Arjun's words now. She looked outside so that Arjun couldn't see the tears in her eyes, and quickly wiped one tear which scrolled down her cheek. She heard Arjun putting the radio, but was too emotionally hurt that she didnt give a damn to what was playing. She was too busy thinking about what she should do now. She didnt want to give Arjun another opportunity to hurt her. After a good night's sleep, when she felt better, she could deal with him. Right now she was too exhausted for that. She decided that she'd get down and find her own means of transport back home.

"Please stop the car!" Sakshi said again more loudly.

Arjun stopped the car and looked at her worriedly. She however ignored him, took his crutch and opened the door to get out.

"Sakshi yeh kya kar rahi ho tum?" Arjun asked anxiously. But Sakshi ignored him, and somehow managed to get down of the vehicle, though it hurt a lot for her to achieve this. After taking a deep breath, she turned and looked into Arjun's eyes.

"Nahin chahiye mujhe kuch bhi aapse! Thanks for the lift till now, but i'll manage the rest of the way!" Sakshi said and started to take small steps away from Arjun.

Arjun was too perplexed at Sakshi's reaction. He turned around and saw that they were near a bus stand.

So Sakshi thought she would go by bus, she couldn't even get inside my car, but she think she'd be able to get into the bus. He knew he had hurt her a lot, so he decided to wait and give Sakshi so time to calm down. So he took the decision to wait for her. He watched taking small steps till she reached the bus stop.

Sakshi finally reached the bus stop, but due to the lateness she was all alone here. She prayed to god that soon a bus would come, or even a taxi. Anything but please she didnt want to go back in Arjun's vehicle. She knew that Arjun was still parked where she had left him. she didnt know what he was waiting for, but for her it was a matter of pride now. There was no way she was going to go back to him.

She had been waiting for a few minutes, when suddenly it started to rain. And unfortunately this bus stop had no cover, and there was nowhere where she could take shelter. She watched towards the vehicle standing just a few metres away from him.

"Akdu kakin ka! Always scolding me! And even now he doesn't even care that i'm getting wet! Stupid! Bad mannered!" she went on calling him with names inside her head. It was raining too heavily that soon she was completely drenched, but yet her ego didnt leave her. She stood where she was.

Arjun was waiting patiently for Sakshi, but he could see that she was avoiding him. But he also had his pride, and that stopped him from apologising and asking her to come back. Soon it had started to rain, he thought maybe now she'd accept defeat and come back to accept his lift. But nope, that girl was even more stubborn than him. She stood where she was and soon she was completely drenched. He didnt know at whom he was more angry! At Sakshi for her stubbornness or his pride. When after a few more minutes Sakshi didnt come, he finally accepting defeat.

Sakshi was hurt and this weather wasn't good for her at all. He had to think for her sake, he quickly got out and walked towards her under his umbrella. When he reached at her, he looked at her eyes. But she wasn't even looking at him. She ignored him. How the hell did she dare ignore him!

He came closer and closer to her, till finally Sakshi had to start taking some back steps.

"What are you doing?" Sakshi said, still not looking at him.

"Sakshi let's go!" Arjun said with a gentle voice.

"No!" Sakshi replied back staring at her feet now.

"Sakshi let's go! And i wont ask you again a third time!" Arjun asked a bit less gently now.

"No! NO! No! No!" Sakshi repeated to him, "You can go away, i dont need you! And i dont want your help!"

She heard Arjun take a deep breath, she knew she had made him even more angry. After a few more seconds she felt Arjun move.

"He's going away! He finally dared to listen and accept my request! He's leaving me alone here! Akdu kahin ka!" she said to herself.

"Oh, what the hell," he muttered, adding something about being hanged for sheep as well as lambs.

He bent and swooped her up in his arms and started walking toward the SUV. She hit him with her crutch.

"Stop that," he muttered. "You'll make me drop you. Considering the weight of you and your damn cast, you'd probably sink halfway through the planet."

"You put me down!" she raged, and hit him again. "I won't go as far as the street with you!"

He paused beside the passenger door of the SUV and searched her hostile eyes.

"You are still hurt! Dont push yourself so much just out of anger! Fine i'm sorry, i shouldn't have behaved and talked so rudely!" Arjun said gently, so gently that it made her want to cry.

Her lips trembled as she tried valiantly not to. And not being able to stop himself looking at her lovely tear filled eyes, he made a husky sound and his mouth settled right on her misty eyes, closing them with soft, tender kisses.

so how was it?😳
