Few hours later,
Sameer sat down on the chair, and ordered for a simple cold coffee.
A few minutes later, a handsome guy in somewhat his early 30's, stepped off his bike, and entered the cafe.
He walked upto Sameer, and enquired,
"Sameer Rathore?"
"Yeah.."
"Hello...Bobby...Bobby Garewal...Aayesha's ex-husband..."
Ex-husband...those words pierced Sameer's heart. Bobby took a seat opposite Sameer and sat down.
"Mr.Garewal...I..." before Sam could complete, Bobby interrupted,
"Bobby...Mr.Garewal bada official sa lagta hai..."
Sameer gave him a 'Oh okay' look. The guys continued talking for nearly 2 more hours.
2 hours later,
The guys got up to leave, when,
"Sameer...maana ki ab mera aur Aayesha ka rishta nahi raha...par iska matlab yeh nahin ke hum log ik dusre ki current life ke baare mein nahi jaante...I know ki you both are in a relationship from last one year...aur ab achanak yunn Aaru ke baare mein jaan kar tumhein hairani bhi huyi hogi...but trust me...Aayesha bahut achi hai...and the most important fact is that she loves you...so please koi bhi decision lene se pehle yeh soch leina ki uska kya effect hoga...kyunki woh effect sirf tum par hi nahin...bahut si zindgiyon par hoga..." said Bobby, as the guys shook hands and left.
Sameer took the driver seat of the SUV, but Bobby's words still echoed in his ears...

Meanwhile,
Aayesha sat down on the sofa and sighed. She looked at Aarohi who was busy smiling and giggling, looking at her tired mumma.
She picked up Aarohi and made her sit on her lap,
"Aapke mumma itne thaku thaku ho gaye hain aur aap unpe has rahe ho...gande bache..."
She laid her on the sofa and picked up the envelope lying on the table...the same envelope, which she got in the morning from Sameer.
Somewhere else,
The SUV came to a sudden halt. Sameer stepped out, locked the SUV and walked into the place.
He sat down, cross legged, and removed his shoes, his feet feeling the slightly warm sand of the beach.
He looked around and sighed a bit heavily, as a lone tear escaped his eye...
It was the same place where he had purposed Aayesha few months back...
The same place where they had their first kiss...
The same place, where they promised to stay by each other's side for lifetime...
Kaisi ye judai hai,
Aankh bhar meri ayi hai
Mera dil doob raha
Ise bas ab doob ne do
But now that promise seemed to be forgotten...neither he could accept the truth...nor he could run away from the truth...

Suddenly something stuck his mind...he had to go...he had to leave her...Yes! He had to leave her...what why how...he had no answers...he just knew that maybe the next step he would take...would end up leaving Aayesha all alone...but he had no other option...

Iss gham ko behene do
Ye saath jo choot raha
Ise aaj toot ne do
Kaisi ye judai hai
Aankh bhar meri ayi hai
Mera dil doob raha
Ise bas ab doob ne do
An hour later,
It was nearly 11 in the night when Sameer rang the doorbell of DIG Dustin Coelho's house.
It was Mrs.Priya Coelho, DIG's better-half, who opened the door.
"Sameer? Aao andar..." and she moved away and let him in.
10 minutes later,
"Are you sure Sameer? Yeh tumhara final decision hai?" asked DIG.
"Yeah...kabhi kabhi na chahte huye bhi kuch decisions lene padte hain..." replied Sameer.
Mrs.Coelho sat down next to him and placed her hand on his shoulder,
"Sameer...beta ik baar phir sochlo..."
"Mein nahi sochna chahta...jo sochna tha soch liya..." he replied.
A few minutes later, Sameer was back at his place, packing his bags, when his phone buzzed.
It was Aayesha. He reluctantly picked up the phone. An awkward silence prevailed...
A minute or two later, Aayesha spoke up,
"Sir...aapke signatures chahiye thay..."
"DIG Sir ke signatures le lena Aayesha..." and he ended the call.
Khush rahe bas tu
Mere dil ki yeh duwa hai
Khud se pooch le tu
Tere dil ki kya raza hai

Tere dil mein jo dhaba hai
Ye toh bata
Mujhse juda kyun hai
On the other hand, she was slightly taken aback by his action.
The next day,
Sameer took his seat and gazed out of the window, when he heard the announcement.
"The Flight will take off in 5 minutes. Passengers are requested to tighten their seat belts."
He sighed and looked out again.
Ek baat sataathi hai
Jab teri yaad aati hai
Kyun mujhse root gaya
Jaane kyun door gaya
Ye peheli bhar huwa
Ye kyun ehesas huwa

Mujhe tumse pyaar huwa...
"Meri wajah se bahut problem huyi hai na tumhein Aayesha...I promise it was the last time you saw my face...I won't disturb you ever again..." he thought.
"Air India ki flight no. xxx Mumbai se New York City ke liye 4 minute mein udaan bharne waali hai...Air India Flight No.xxx from Mumbai to New York City will take off in 4 minutes" came the announcement.
And as per the schedule, the flight departed...and he left too...went far away, from her, his love...
