Part - 2
2 hours later,
Aayesha woke up and realized that she had her flight. Suddenly, her gaze fell on the envelope.
She took the envelope and opened it. And what she saw, made her angry, made her smile...Mixed feelings!
"Rathore Sir!!!" she yelled.
"Happy April Fools Day" read the paper.
She took out her Samsung Galaxy S3. When she checked the date, it was indeed April 1st.
She dialled his number.
"Haan Aayesha..."
"Kya haan Aayesha...aapke prank ke chakkar mein mere chote se heart ko bada waala heart attack aane waala tha..."
Sameer couldn't help, but burst into laughter.
"Kya hehehe...itna kyun dara diya tha mujhe? Hunh...ab yeh bhi bata dijiye ki mujhe Delhi nahi jaana..."
He was still laughing.
"Sir please..." she didn't continue, as she too burst into laughter.
After few seconds of hearty laugh, Sam spoke up,
"Flight hai Aayesha, aur mein aadhe ghante mein aa raha hunn tumhein pick up karne..."
Before she could say anything else, he ended the call.
"Hush...kam se kam itna toh pata chala ki yeh sab prank tha...mein jaake packing kar leti hunn...And I hope woh koi prank na ho..."
Half-an-hour later,
He rang the doorbell. She rushed towards the door and opened it,
"Sir, kya surprise tha. Aisa surprises na aapko dete rehna chahiye..." she said a bit sarcastically, and stepped away, making way for him to enter.
He was all smiles. He made himself comfortable on a sofa, as she went inside to do a lil bit of more packing.
She didn't knew why, all her gussa had disappeared somewhere. Maybe his smile had affected her?
She mentally smacked herself for thinking about him like that. He was just her senior? No! Colleague? No! Friend? Or more than that? He mattered to her. She cared for him. And she knew that somewhat he cared for her too.
Meanwhile, Sam was busy looking here n there. His gaze fell on the same envelope. He picked it up and opened it.
He was busy smiling. Aayesha was busy sneaking from behind the door. How adorable he looked while smiling.

10 minutes later, she came out. They reached the parking lot and sat in the SUV.
Considering that it was an hour long journey, Aayesha thought of starting a convo. But what to talk about.
They most of the times, talked and discussed abt the cases, but today?
They stopped at a traffic signal. Sameer turned his face and looked at Aayesha, who was busy glancing out.
Suddenly, it started raining. An excited Aayesha turned and looked at Sameer. He seemed to be lost somewhere. Only a second or two later, she realized that he was looking at her.
I've never opened up to anyone
So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms
We don't need to rush this
Let's just take it slow
Sam got out of the trance and started driving again.
"Sir woh..." she said.
"Haan Aayesha..." he replied.
She didn't utter a single word after that. Neither he asked her to continue.
That silence, was enough for their hearts to exchange those unsaid words.
I know that if we give this a little time
It'll only bring us closer to the love we wanna find
It's never felt so real, no it's never felt so right
That silent ride continued for few minutes.
He parked the SUV in the parking lot. Both of them stepped out, as Aayesha took out her luggage.
"Aap nahi aa rahe?" she asked him.
"Nahi...woh...I guess they are calling you for some mission..." he replied.
She felt butterflies in her stomach. No, she didn't wanted to go. She wanted to stay here itself. What was the reason? Him?

Tonight Tonight Tonight
The rain had disappeared somewhere. But what about the feelings? He didn't wanted her to go. Everytime she moved away from his sight, he felt his heart beat beating at a faster rate.
He took out her suitcase as they started walking towards the main entrance of the airport.
"Aayesha..." he said.
"Yes Sir..." she replied, as she looked at him. He looked a bit tense.
"Woh...apna khayal rakhna..." he said.
Her cheeks turned slightly red.
"Yes Sir..." she replied.
They were standing outside the airport, waiting for DIG Coelho, as he was supposed to meet Aayesha and hand her some important documents, when,
"Aayesha mein chalta hunn...aur tum bhi andar chali jao..." Sam said.
She slightly nodded in +ve as he started walking towards the parking lot.
"Sameer..." she said.
He turned and looked at her. She left her suitcase, ran upto him and hugged him tight.
He nearly lost his balance. He hugged her back.
"Aayesha I..." he said.
"Shhh! You don't have to say anything..." she replied.
"I have something to say Aayesha..." he replied her back.
Both of them knew what he wanted to say. Even though she asked him not to say anything, her heart was busy asking his, to speak those 3 magical words.
"Aayesha...I love you..." he said.
"I love you too..." she replied.
She lifted her face off his shoulder. He cupped her face,
"Shh! Ab aur kuch nahi sunn na mujhe...jo sunn na tha...sunn liya..." she said.
"Aayesha..." before he could utter anything else, she leaned her lips on his.
Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch of the fire burning so bright
No I don't want to mess this thing up
I don't want to push too far

One moment can change your life. And these few moments had changed their lives.
After their kiss got over, they walked upto her luggage, with their hands entwined. Nearly 5 minutes later, they were greeted by the DIG. The DIG handed her the documents, and told her few more impt things before he left.
They hugged each other and had a passionate kiss one last time, before Aayesha left.
