5.Why are the numbers on a calculator and a phone reversed? -Actually the keyboard of calculator is used only for Decimal numbers. when calculator was invented the digital diling of fone was not invented so for. later when fone keypads were developed it was programmed for decimal input as well as alphabets (as in mobile fone for message writing) . that is the reason the keypad of fone was in reverse order to keep alpha bets in line.

8. Why do most cars have speedometers that go up to at least 130 when you legally can't go that fast on any road? -Most cars can't go that fast to begin with. The higher the number the "sportier" it looks, so it helps sell cars. You can also drive your car on a track, only speed limits are in pit row.
