Chapter 1:
Sun went behind he mountains and darkness started seeping every where. He sat there alone in the darkness.
He could no longer be with her. I was curse of his life now. he had to live with it.
He loved her a lot, beyond anything else. But now being with her would only mean her death.
He shifted uneasily in his seat, glanced the monitor.
He was so happy before a year. Jovial but now... everything had changed. He was no longer the old tech expert Shreekant sen who would irritate chotu, flirt with Liza.
He had changed for life. Ha!! He let out a scornful laugh.
Life. Life after death was his life now. a living corpse, a bloody blood sucker.
Every pore of his body wanted to kill that chit of a girl who had turned him into a vampire for eternity.
He still remembered her. A thin slender girl who was barely 17, pale skin, with blue eyes and black hair.
She had crashed into him and had bit him within the blink of an eye.
He still remembered the way she was pulled away and dragged to other end of the forest.
He still remembered how sameer sir and Arjun sir and taken him away to their house.
Vampire. He had always thought that, that was just a piece of fiction in Twilight movie or in Vampire diaries.
But now he himself was one.
Now he wanted revenge.
He typed furiously almost punching the keys.
He saw her in corner of his eyes. His Liza. his love. She was sitting there with a pen in her hand and a file in front of her. Her eyes held pain of betrayal by him.
He had vanished into thin air all of a sudden and did not return for months.
She waited for him, all through those days, burning in hell.
Where was he was the only question she had asked everyone.
Her seniors said he was on leave and chotu, his best friend, his housemate never knew where he went.
She waited for him, all through those days when he was not there to irritate her, long nights when she was haunted by his dreams. She rarely slept and missed him terribly.
He did come back. Didn't he? But it was not her Shree.
His skin was pale and at the same time glowed. His features were as if sculpted by a perfectionist. His charm increased 10 folds.
She fell for him all over again.
But she found something amiss in him. His eyes were cold, lifeless.
His face had a smile, more like a mask to hide something behind it. He smiled but that never reached his eyes. He joked but they were not from his heart.
He never spared a glance at her from that day. Cold behavior was reserved towards her.
He became more reserved but his efficiency at work increased.
It hurt her a lot when he passed snide remarks at her as if purposely trying to hurt her. A lone tear fell from her eye which she wiped in jiffy.
She stole a glance at him and caught him staring her. Their eyes locked for a long moment and then she averted her gaze towards the file.
He could read her well. He used to read data in laptop before, now even minds. It hurt him a lot to hurt her. He felt like killing himself, but suicide was not even an option as he was already dead.
Liza was his life and he would do every possible thing to protect her, especially from himself.
He smirked to himself and hit the sent button and sent a detailed report of all the cases to Sameer Rathod, ETF chief.
There was only one thing that can calm his nerves. Blood. He immediately stuffed his laptop and other things in his side bag. He stole a last glance at her working form, whooshed out of the office.

"Riya, it is the time we send her to him."
Bigger wolf amongst the two stood behind the confines of bushes, turned to the younger wolf.
The surroundings had grown eerie in just matter of seconds. Moon hid behind dark clouds making the forest look creepier.
Amidst that, she stood, blood dripping from corners of mouth, hands with some drops of blood. Her eyes slowly returning to blue, now with flecks of green.
Riya saw her from far.
"Dad... No... We can't. He is a blood sucker. Damn him. I warned di not to be with him but she never listened to me. She bloody gave her life. Now I cannot send her angel to him and risk her life."
"You think it's easy for me? She is the one I am living. I am against my whole clan just to protect her. Don't you know three worlds ll want her blood once she is exposed?"
"I know... but..."
"She is his daughter. Don't you remember he had identified her scent last time when they were face to face? He even remembers her fragrance although she died long back. There must be some reason he vanished that time riya..."
"I really don't want to hear crap reason why he vanished into thin air, leaving di alone that too in that condition. Her screams still haunt me. You might have had adopted her because you had no choice but for me she is my elder sister. She filled the void in my heart that was crated when mom died."
"Don't forget she is my daughter too riya... uska saboot ye hai ki angel humare saath hai. Agar wo uski beti nahin hoti to angel kabhi yahan nahin hoti.(the proof is that now angel is with us. If she was not her daughter, she would not have been here.) We would have hunted her down and not protect her. Her powers are immense. Just like him. She is gifted."
Riya took a long breath. She had to come out of her form and think like a human. She ran behind bushes and came in her human form. She wanted her sister's daughter to live a peaceful life for which she used her powers all these times when she hunted and sucked blood. But now, she knew they could do nothing for she knew who she was and consciously, she had hunted one human.
Two pretty faces came in front of her eyes. A lady in her early twenties, with greenish eyes, curly hair, lovely sweet smile.
"di..." she whispered.
She saw another face- their angel. She closed her eyes to gain some strength and then turned to her father.
"dad, I need some time to decide. She is like a daughter to me, although she is blend of di and that blood sucker" her face twisted in disgust at he word blood sucker.
"And don't forget she now is one too.."
"Yeah I know. What about him? Will he take her under his wings?"
"Definitely. Don't you remember when angel had bit that officer in jungle? He had followed called her. I had seen pain and love for her in his dead eyes riya. Trust me. He is the only one who can sooth her tormented soul"
