"Nothing to worry, he had hit his head, but thankfully he didn't sustain much damage on his head! However he has broken one of his ribs, but the operation went well! We just need him to wake up now, with he'll probably do after some hours, when the drugs' effects start to fade," the doctor said and went away.
Arjun, Shaina and Riya waited till finally Rathore gained consciousness.
After a wait of some hours, finally Rathore gained consciousness and a nurse came to inform them that he was awake and asking repeatedly for someone called Shaina.
Shaina rushed to meet Sam inside. As she opened the door and got inside, she could see wires connected to him and other things. He looked so feeble, yet he was looking at her in a strange way. A way which she had been missing since a long time. She knew then at that instant her Sam was back, she ran into his arms and hugged him lying there on the bed.

Only when she heard Rathore wince in pain, that she excused herself and relaxed her hold.
"So sorry, i almost forgot you are in pain," Shaina said with tears flowing down her cheeks. She was so happy that Sam was fine, and he remembered her after such a long time.
Shaina was trying to get away from Sam, but Sam didnt let her go far from him, "Dont go! Stay here. It's almost as if i've been dying to have you in my arms. I'm sorry for everything Shaina, i have hurt you a lot during these past months!"
Outside, Arjun and Riya were looking through a glass at this couple. They finally seemed happy, and it seemed they also had a lot to talk about.
"Riya, it's already very late. You can meet Sam tomorrow, for the time being let these two together. Come i'll drop you at the orphanage," Arjun said and turned to go, when he felt someone hold onto his hand.
He turned and saw Riya holding him. He came to stand near her, looking straight in her eyes, "Kya hua Ri. I doubt we'll ever get to meet Rathore tonight!" Arjun said.
"It's not about that," Riya said softly.
Arjun raised his hand and cupped her face and asked her, "What's wrong? Dont worry he'll be better now."
Riya turned her face into Arjun's palm, resting her cheek deeper in his palm, and said, "Yes i know he'll be safe. How can he be something else when Shaina is there with him!"
Arjun came closer, and took her in his arms, making her head rest on near his heart.
"Then what?" he asked gently.

He felt Riya tightening his hold on him and shivering, and then she replied, "Seeing Sam like that, and the way Shaina has suffered yet maintained all his anger and insults, yet she didnt go away. She had great beliefs in her love story, and see there they are both finally so happy. Her love and determination has won. And me? I ran away on the first problem we got!"

"Shsssh, dont say that. I was wrong, completely wrong in the way i talked with you. With love also comes respect and trust and compromise. Yet i fought and insulted you out of anger, and because of other people. I insulted our love, and the time we passed together. It's ok, i understand everything," Arjun said while hugging Riya. Soon he felt the shirt near his heart becoming wet. His Riya was crying on him. He released her and cupped her face in his hands, wiping the tears falling down.
"Dont cry Ri, it's not fair. You know very well what each tears of yours do to me," Arjun said.
"I'm sorry Arjun, running away never was the solution. I should have stayed and tried to tell you what i felt and thought. I should have tried explaining myself to you, but instead i ran away! And now seeing how Sam almost die, i dont want to waste any more of the time we can have with each other. I'm not going to the orphanage Arjun, i'm not going away from you even one minute," Riya said and again crashed her face in his chest.
"I'll return home with you," Riya mumbled on his chest.
"Ok, ok, fine. We'll go home. Now stop crying!" Arjun said.
Both relished these moments in each other's arms for a long time, until they heard a door being opened and saw a smiling Shaina coming out.
"Dewar ji, yeh kya ho raha hein? In the middle of a corridor? In a hospital?" Shaina teased these two lovers finding Arjun and Riya hugging each other.
"Not more than what was happening behind closed door, Bhabhi ji," Arjun teased Shaina, making her blush a deep red.
"Arjun, Riya, he remembers everything, he remembers me," Shaina said overflowing with happiness, "and i can see even you two have resolved your differences!"
"Hain, it's a happy day for all of us," Riya said looking with a smile at Arjun.
"Dewar ji, i want to stay here with Rathore tonight. He just fell asleep a few minutes ago, i dont wanna be away from him now," Shaina said.
"Theek hein, then me and Riya will leave from here, but if you need anything do let us know," Arjun said. After a few more minutes, after talking with the doctor and reassuring himself that Sam was fine, Arjun and Riya left the hospital.
During the whole journey to the beach house, Riya rested her head onto Arjun's shoulders. When they reached the beach house, Arjun picked Riya in his arms and took her inside.
"Arjun yeh kya hein?" Riya said when Arjun was carrying her over the threshold.
"Nothing, but you are back to stay, hence only a small gift from me," Arjun said. He put her down and held her in his arms.
"Chodiye humein," Riya said after some time.
"Jee nahin, kya pata tum phir se bhag gayi to," Arjun said holding her.
"OMG, Arjun i forgot to inform the matron and the kids. They must be very worried for me," Riya said pushing herself away from Arjun's arms.
Arjun however, wasn't in a mood to let Riya go, so he came close to her and again hugged her, saying "While we were in the hospital i already informed the matron."
"What would i do without you,"Riya said snuggling more into his arms.
"Well nothing, but now you owe me something," Arjun teased her.
"Anything Arjun," Riya said gently. She felt Arjun's body froze at her words.
"Anything Riya?" Arjun asked with a loving voice.
"Hain, everything. I loved you then, now and forever. It will never change!" Riya said, finally having made her decision. She loved him too much.

"Ok theek hein, then how about you make some diner for me. I know it's way past diner, but kya karein i haven't even had lunch, and we have been in the hospital for so many hours!" Arjun asked gently.
"Kya? Diner? Food?" Riya asked bursting into laughter.
"hein, for the time being i dont want anything but food," Arjun winked at Riya, but then his wicked and naughty side couldn't stop himself from adding, "But afterwards, who knows!"
He winked at her, making her blush.
Riya ran away from there to the kitchen, but Arjun's laughter followed her even there.
In the hospital
Shaina was sleeping on a chair, when she heard Sam calling for her. She immediately opened her eyes, and went to see if he needed anything.
"Sam, kya hua?" Shain asked worried, "Is it hurting? Should i call for the doctor? Do you want some water?"
"Shaina, stop it. i dont want anything, except you here right next to me!" Sam said looking with lovely eyes at Shaina.
"Sam, you aren't well! And you want me next to you!" Shaina scolded him.
"Shaina you are going to have muscular pain if you go on sleeping on that chair. Why dont you come and sleep on my good side. I'll also be able to have you in my arms, and you'd also not feel too tired!" Sam persisted.
"Jee nahin, i'm not coming to sleep there with you," Shaina said.
"Please, you shouldn't refuse a patient anything, what if i dont get up tomorrow morning," Sam joked.
But Shaina immediately rushed to him, and slapped him on his good shoulder saying, "Sam, dont talk like that. I almost lost you two times, i wont be able to bear it another time!" and started to cry on his shoulders.

Sam felt bad at seeing Shaina like this, but at least now Shaina was lying next to him on the bed. He got what he wanted. So he kept quiet and caressed her hair till Shaina stopped crying, and gradually fell asleep in his arms.

In the beach house
After about half an hour, Riya called Arjun for diner. She had managed to prepare something very light quickly, some salads and hopefully there was bread.
"Arjun kahan ho aap?" Riya shouted again, when she felt a pair of arms snaking on her waist and drawing her closer to someone's chest.
"Arjun yeh sab kya hein? Just now you were feeling hungry, and now when you have food, you are holding onto me!" Riya joked.
"Kya karoon, i have gone hungry for a very long time. And i want both, the food and you," Arjun whispered in Riya's ear. He trailed some light kisses on her neck, and just when Riya was turning to kiss him fully on his lips, he released her quickly and went to sit on the chair for food.
Riya glared at him for the way he was playing with her.
"Come and sit next to me Riya," Arjun said gently.
After a few minutes of silence, one because Riya was frustrated and didnt wanna talk with Arjun, and second because Arjun had already forgotten Riya, Arjun was relishing on the food and eating.
"Arjun, is this why you love me? Just to give you some food!" Riya asked slightly angry.
Arjun kept eating, however in between mouthfuls he managed to answer, "Nope Ri, if i want a cook, i'll get myself a cook, why do i have to marry for that?"
"Then as soon as you saw the food, you already forgot me, why?" Riya said disappointed. She had hoped for a sweet and romantic diner, afterall they were back together after a long time. But nope, Arjun seemed more in love with the food than her for the time being.
"Oh come on Ri, dont tell me you are jealous of food now!" Arjun said. Riya blushed slightly because that was exactly how she was feeling at this instance. She realised how stupid it must sound, and thus started to laugh.
"Ab kya hua? You were angry a few minutes ago! Now you arelaughing! God, when will i ever be able to understand a girl's mind!" Arjun said in an over-dramatic voice.
"And God, why did i have to fall in love with the only unromantic guy in this world!" Riya replied back.
Arjun left his food, and finally he was concentrating on Riya, "Mein aur unromantic!"
"Of course, do you still remember how you had proposed to me? Woh romantic tha? And even tonight you seem more interested in the food!" Riya said.
"That was the first time nah that i fell in love and thus that proposal, but dont worry next time i'll be better at it," Arjun joked.
"Next time, what do you mean next time!" Riya glared at him.
'"Joke that doll," Arjun said with a killer smile, "and right now i'm eating only to gather some strength!" and winked at her.
"Strength for what?" Riya asked in a confused state.
"For what gonna happened later, much later in the night," Arjun said slowly and seductively, making Riya's heart beats speed up.
Riya lowered her eyes and was already completely red...
