Ria n purva reached d place after the meeting. They had a yummy chocolate icecream on there way back, n reached home soon after. All the while they were discussing about the plans. It was already decided that the kids and rest team will arrive at rawte's residence tomorrow once arjun n ria leave for office. Rathore planned a case for them already, so that ria n arjun would be busy with it the whole evening, and they can plan accordingly. Purva,"mom dekho kal exact 12 AM , papa k saath aa jana …else our plan will flop." Ria,"mumma k hote hue , aapka plan flop nahi hoga beta..dun worry we will reach at 12 pakka." Just when Arjun came n heard the last line. Arjun,"kya flop nahi hoga…..kya baat kar rhe ho mom n unki princess" Before ria could say anything, the little one said,"kuch nahi papa, hum to bas aise hi…. We were not talking about u." Arjun looked at ria suspiciously and ria was smiling to herself. Arjun understood something is definitely cooking up between them, but he chose to ask about it later.
Next morning, ria went to purva' s room to wake her up. Arjun also went there along. Arjun,"Ria batao na..kya ho rha hai…as in kuch to choot raha hai" ria,"nothing arjun…I need to wake her up." Arjun held her by her wrist n dragged her outside the room,"wake her baad mein, first answer my question. " Ria,"Arjun, maine kuch bhi bola, to aapki beti mujhe maar daalegi…..she will get very annoyed." Arjun,"Mujhe yeh pata hain ki sum planning is going on for tomorrow…" Ria,"haw aapko kaise pata??" Arjun,"quite obvious yaar…..Rathore ne aaj ka schedule hi kuch aisa plan kiya hain….as in I will be in office till 11…n den kal madam ka statement when u both returned." Ria,"dekho aapko pata chal gaya to thik hain..but pls dun let her know about it. She wants to plan a surprise party for u, uska mood kharaab ho jayega Arjun, if she'll come to know ki aapko pata hian." Arjun,"yeh meri princess Is doing so much, wow yaar. Waise batao na kya planning hain" Ria,"Arjun ..pls. Acha chalo, lets wake her sath mein, with a morning family hug." Ria was trying to wake her up, while arjun said,"Ria it would be so amazing yaar….this s d best feeling, when u know that your daughter is planning a surprise for u. She s thinking so much for me." With his voice purva woke up, n said,"papa gud morning. Aap kya baat kar rhe ho" Arjun,"Kuch nahi beta, I was saying ki aap kitne cute lag rhe ho….." Ria,came for his rescue,"chalo beta, come on wake up fast. Mumma papa ko gud morning hug do." She hugged them both together n both kissed her forehead simultaneously. Arjun left the room after some time, n just as he left, purva looked at ria,"mumma, why was papa so confused, abhi thode tym pehle. Kahin aap ne unko bata to nahi diya." Ria 's eyes popped out, n she said,"arrey nahi beta, y will I tell him. Mumma s also planning na…acha chalo u go and quickly take a bath….aaj bahut saare kaam karne hai na."
Here at home, the preparations were on full swing. All d kids were busy supervising the work. Chotu n shree were busy with the decorations and other arrangements. Shree received a vide call n before he could answer it, Aniket snatched his I-Pad n said,"dad I think u need to concentrate on the decoration, Samjhe ya samjhayun" Chotu laughed,"Aiga shree, tera beta to bada hi mast hain …Arjun sir ki copy." Shree:"chotu, mere bheem sen, wo dekh….mohan tujhe stare kar rha hain…chal kaam par lag ja, warna yeh bache humein nahi chodenge." Chotu and shree resumed the works.
Later in the evening, Kushal,"team mission is almost complete." Aniket,"yeyy… ab bas uncle arrive on time." Everything was luking perfect, the entire house was simulated as a snow field. There was artificial snow created out of cotton balls, stars, ribbons, lots of Christmas trees. It was all looking charismatic. All of them were going to get ready, when purva asked,"maasi…what about food preparations. " Ankita replied,"beta dun worry everything is ready, pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, muffins, and yummy yummy caramel custard." Kushal,"n wat about the cake mom." Ankita,"oh freak, I forgot to order the cake" Purva,"What!!!, maasi cake k bina party kaisi." Ankita,"sorry beta, pata nahi kaise I forgot." Sameer came to Ankita's rescue(as always),"arrey don't worry, there s a cake shop nearby, I just go there and bring it as earliest." Ankita,"Sameer thank u so much…."
Here in office, Ria was busy in a file, concentrating on a recent case. Just when she noticed, Arjun pacing left to right of the room, thinking something. Ria inquisitively, "What happened sir, is dere a problem" Arjun looked at her confused, thinking, y is she calling me sir, n den he remembered her not mingling personal and professional relations. Arjun voiced out,"Ria I think humein ghar chalna chahiye" Ria got up from her chair, n walked near him, asking,"Arjun r u okay….kya hua??" Arjun,"I m all fyn, wo I want to know about the surprise." Ria suppressed her smile,"Arjun sir concentrate on the case..kuch samjhe ya samjhayun." Saying so she turned and stopped on realizing him holding her wrist, ria turned quizzically, and he pulled her towards himself. She hold his shoulders for support and he asked,"ria dekho now I think u should tell me about the surprise. " Ria decided to tease him a bit,"no way Mr Rawte. I never knew ki d gr8 ACP Arjun has so little patience." Arjun,"Arrey ..my daughter is planning something for me. That is such a sweet gesture." Arjun,"chalo na its 11, hum ghar chalte hain." Ria,"nahi, wo jr arjun rawte will kill me, if we reach before time. Arjun thodi der aur wait kar lo."
Here at home, sameer finally reached with the cake. All the kids were excited to see the cake. Sameer,"here I come with the cake…..chalo tell me ki cake kaisa hain" n he opened the parcel. Ankita was shocked n so was shree chotu, looking at the cake. Purva finally voiced out,"Sam uncle, is that the cake u brought for dad." Sameer,"haan, its looks nice na" Purva nodded her head in a no. Sameer then turned towards other kids, who were looking at him angrily. Purva,"uncle its papa's birthday n not mine. U brought a pink color strawberry cake for papa. Yieeww."
Sameer looked at ankita in disbelieve. Ankita looked at him with an apologetic look, n said,"arrey bacho…a baa hi gaya hain ..to we'll cut this one today. Aur waise bhi surprise party mein surprise cake, I mean Arjun wud never expect a pink cake rite." Kushal,"Don't cover up mom."
Here at ETF office,
Arjun,"Ria its 11:15, ab chalo." Ria,"Arjun thodi to patience rakho." Ria was walking slowly, nah very slowly, just to tease him. Arjun,"Ria I know u r doing this purposely. A tortoise can walk faster then u." Ria smiling cunningly, "arrey nahi arjun, I m walking normally." Arjun immediately bent down n picked her up. Ria was shocked, "Arjun pls leave me. " Arjun,"sorry jaan." N he carried her till the parking lot. Ria,"Arjun u r very bad..hun" Arjun,"sorry but I cant wait any longer. U r not gonna tell me." Ria,"Arrye y r u behaving like purva…..thoda patience rakho. N do u want to ruin all of them's surprise." Arjun,"Acha ji I m sorry. But ab we can drive towards the apartment. I promise hum 12 o clock hi jayenge." Ria,"okay."
Here at home, all the kids were super upset. Ankita chotu shree, somehow managed to make them understand the cake looks yummy. Ankita told them, they will ask Ria to make another big cake the other day. Kids being kids, easily fall in her words, except one (Devil me ), purva. Purva,"nahi maasi…pehle promise me ki u will also make a big extra large pizza for all of us." (Me ROFLing thinking BB cooking for me) (Enough of my joke, coming to story)
Arjun n ria reached the apartment. It was still 10 minutes to 12. Arjun,"Ria on a serious note …how should I react." He showed her 5 different expression in a minute, leaving her astonished. Ria,"Arjun u have actually gone mad….kya ho gaya hain aapko. " Arjun,"Acha chalo….its just 5 min remaining" Ria and Arjun started walking upstairs. It was Ria's idea to take the stairs rather then escalator. As soon as the clock struck 12, she quickly hugged him n wished him by lightly pecking his cheeks. Arjun hugged her back. Ria,"Arjun , your gift is at home. Pehle chalo every 1 must be waiting. And then I have to check, kya haal kiya mere ghar ka. " Arjun chuckled n dey entered d apartment. It was a mesmerizing sight for both of them. It looked as if they reached a hill station. U can find snow, trees, light music being played all around. Then entered all of them, Firstly chotu as Santa. Then they found Shree in a green dress like a tree. A smile, nah a big smile was there on Arjun's face. In his wildest thots, he could never imagine such an idyllic sight in front of him. Then came Ankita n Sameer , dressed in white, the color of purity. Arjun asked about the kids. Ankita informed that they all were waiting n decided to play inside. She turned to call them up, but Arjun n ria said that they will go n surprise them all. As soon as both went inside, the sight indeed left them surprised, all 4 kids were sleeping peacefully on the bed. They were so tired that dey didn't realize wen dey fall asleep. Arjun slightly pecked each of them's forhead n moved out of the room. Every1 wished him n decided to cut the cake in the morning with the kids. The party ended soon so as not to disturb the children's sleep.
