"I'm sorry Riya"

She looked at him with widened eyes. Did he just say Sorry to her?

"Riya woh...woh kal mein...Avantika ke saath dinner par gaya tha..."
"Avantika kaun hai?" she asked him, way to innocently.

"Meri friend thi, college mein...college over hone ke baad, kal hum log mile thay...na jaane kyun, bahut mann kiya usse milne ka...issiliye uske saath chala gaya...I'm sorry Riya...I'm really really sorry.."
"It's ok sir, acha hi kiya aapne ki aap apni purani friend se milne gaye...Good to see that ki aap apne friends se milne lag padhe hain..."
"Friends?" he said, as he stretched his hand towards her.
For fraction of seconds, she looked at him confused, but then, she stretched her hand, shook hands with him.

She smiled. He smiled. And here was the start of a new relationship b/w them. The relationship was that of 'Friendship'

3rd feb

She slowly opened her eyes. She stretched herself a bit. With her eyes now fully open, she noticed the room filled with beautiful bouqets, and teddy's.

"Haye, aaj kya hai?"

She then noticed the teddy, who was exactly in front of the bed, at a distance. She stepped out of the bed, walked towards the teddy, and picked up the large envelope, which was lying there.

"Yaar aaj hai kya? Na aaj mera b'day hai, na Sam ka b'day hai? Toh fir?"

She opened the envelope, just to realize the fact that it was their 3rd Wedding Anniversary!

"Omg! How can I forget! Unh...Aur ye Sam, uff! Saara kamra decorate karke bhag gaye..."

*Beep Tone*

There was a message on her iPhone. She checked it, it was from Sam.

"Happy Wedding Anniversary Jaan!"

"Yeh Sam bhi na, (blushes) Aaj toh inhein acha khaasa mauka mil jayega romance karne ka..."

She threw the phone on the bed, and rushed to the bathroom.

Few minutes later,

She came out of the bathroom, and noticed a sticky note on the dressing table.

"Hmm...bahut hot lag rahi hain aap...bas...issi tarah meri liye humesha apni hotness ka pradarshan kijiye..."

She chuckled,

"Hai bhagvan! Sam u so! Sharam bhi nahi aati inhein, agar kisi aur ne ye note dekh liya hota toh! Hunh!"

And then she noticed the second note,

"Hmm...sharam toh mujhe sach mein nahi aati...khair, there's a gift for you in the wardrobe.."

She rushed to the wardrobe, and opened it swiftly, to find a gift wrapped in a red gifting paper, which had a note attached to it,

"Ik kripa kijiye, iss saree ko pehen lijiye...vaise agar dori ya knot mein problem huyi, toh mein aa jaunga help karne..."

Her cheeks turned red. She really wouldn't mind, if he helped her tying the dori!

She opened the gift, to find this beautiful saree :

"Wow! Sam indeed has a great choice!"

But her smile vanished, as soon as she noticed the back of the blouse.

Just a single hook, and a single dori!

And she again noticed a note,

"Biwi ji, woh kya hai na aap saree mein badi hot lagti hain...toh meine socha kyun na..."

Her cheeks were now almost burning.

"Bhagvan, aaj raat toh bas aap hi mujhe bacha sakte hain..."

She quickly changed into the saree, and reached downstairs.

"Koi nahi hai ghar pe?" she said, as there was pin drop silence downstairs.

"Nakul? Nakul? Sam? Ur here?"

'No response'

Suddenly,

"Not again! Phir se ik sticky note?"

She took the sticky note,

"Uff ho! Ghar pe koi nahi hai...breakfast kaisa hoga? Hmm...kaho toh mein aapki bhook mita dun?"

She nearly died!

"Yeh Sam ko ho kya gaya hai? He has never been so romantic! Except for that Paris holidays..! Ab toh mujhe inke office hi jaana hoga baat karne, but firstly, let me eat something..."

She again noticed a sticky note on the fridge,

"Food? Oh yes! My jaan can't stay without food...so what about a pizza for the breakfast? Or few chocolate pasteries?"

"Pastries!" she gulped.

She opened the fridge, as she found a box of pasteries over there.

Few minutes later,

"Oh my...this pizza is so tasty, and these pasteries..."

Few minutes later,

"Yeh driver bhi nahi hai...ab mein office kaise jaun? Mera bilkul mann nahi hai drive karne ka...Ik minute, we have two cars, yeh teesri car kiski hai?"

There was another car, in the car shed, covered with a red cloth, which again...had a sticky note,

"Surprise hai Jaan...dekhna pasand nahi karogi?"

She removed the cloth, to find this beauty :

"Hai bhagvan! Yeh toh wohi BMW hai jo...jo meine Sam ko kahi thi buy karne ke liye...awww! I love you Sam! Oh, yeh rahi iski keys, I'm taking this car today...!"

And she drove to ETF office.

An hour later,
ETF Office,

She entered the conference room, as she found Riya n ChoRee sitting there, but Sam-Arjun missing.

Ri : "Oye hoye Bhabz, badi hot lag rahi ho!"
Ch : "Dhansu lag rahi hai Megha di.."
Sh : "Oodi baba, khub bhalo..."

She smiled, and asked for Sam.

Ri : "Rathore Sir toh Arjun Sir ke saath Headquarters gaye hain..."

Suddenly,

"Hello!"
"Am I speaking to Mrs.Megha Damsingh Rathore?"
"Yes!"
"Mrs.Rathore, here's a confirmation call from TheTaj Mahal Palace Hotel, a table has been booked for you.."
"Hmm...ok...please message me the rest of the details.."
"Sure Mam.."

Few minutes later, she received a text message, reagrding the details.

She nodded her head.
'Yeh Sam bhi na..'

"Riya, mera ik kam karne please, jab Sam aaye toh please unhein keh dena ki mere office aa kar mujhe mil jayein..."
"Sure bhabz!"

And she left for her office.

3:00 p.m.
The Taj Mahal Hotel Palace,

She was sitting there, waiting for him. Where was he?

"Ab kya Sam seedha raat ko milenge?" she said, as she pouted her lips.

Suddenly,

"haww!"

She turned behind to find Sam there.

"Sam you! You scared me!"

Sam : (sits in front of her)
Meg : "Aur ye kya? Subah subah office chale gaye, bina mujhe uthaye..."
Sam : "Hmm...I wasn't in a mood to wake you up...mujhe preparations karni thi bahut saari..."
Meg : "Oh yeah! Those stupid sticky notes..."
Sam : "Haan...wohi sticky notes jinhein dekh kar tum kaafi blush kar rahi thi..."
Meg : (lowers her face and smiles)
Sam : "By the way, meine itne saare gift de diye...par mere liye koi gift nahi?"
Meg : 'What the? Mein toh inke liye gift lena hi bhul gayi...' "Hmm...jab raat ko ghar aaoge...tab dungi.."
Sam : "Theek hai...vaise bhi tab tak tumhein gift kharidne ka time mil jayega..."
Meg : (passes him an embarrasing look)
Sam : (Smirks) "Don't worry, m not gussa...come on, lets have lunch...uske baad mujhe aur bhi bahut kaam hai..."
Meg : "Ab kya reh gaya hai karne waala?"
Sam : (smiles) (holds her hands) "Ik minute, thoda idhar hona..."
Meg : (leans a bit towards his side) "Haan..."
Sam : "Raat ki planning karni hai..."
Meg : (she blushed so hard, that her cheeks turned crimson red) "Sam aap bhi na..."
