Arjun was echoing the same words as Riya when he realised that he also had been locked inside. He checked for his mobile, but couldn't find it. He tried calling from the landline, but the landline phone was dead. He looked at the door, and wondered if he could break it down, but then thought of Rathore's face and anger, and decided against it.

Already Rathore was angry at him for his constant fightings with Riya, he didnt want to add to it. But already it was past 09:00 p.m in the night, and he was very hungry. Since Roshni's death, no one had ever prepared food for him, he was used to buying out and eat. So he had nothing to eat. He wondered if Riya would feel some pity on him and give him something to eat. At first he decided against asking her anything, but then his hunger was too much, hunger won over his pride. He found himself going towards Riya's cabin, he knocked and tried opening the door, and was surprised to see the door was locked from inside.

He knocked again and waited, and finally Riya came to open the door. She looked suspiciously at him, and asked what he wanted. He was angry and surprised, so instead of asking her for something to eat, he asked her why she had locked her door.

"It's none of your business! What do you want?" she repeated.

He hated her tone, and like always he couldn't control himself and strode towards her in anger, "What's your problem? Do i look like a rapist to you? That you are locking me out?" Arjun was very angry.

As soon as he said the word rapist, he saw Riya's face whitened, he went closer to her, and saw Riya's breathing increased and tension on her face, he took some steps backwards, and Riya calmed down a bit, he again took some steps forward, and yet again she was tensed. His anger completely went away, even if she didnt say it by words, her expressions gave away everything. So he forgot about his hunger, and decided to let her alone.

"Kahan phaas gaya? Ab his hunger ka kya karoon? I'm trapped inside with a girl, who hates me and who's afraid of me! Great! Yeh waqt ab kaise katein gah!" he thought silently while leaving her in her cabin.

Riya was ashamed of the way she had reacted towards him, she did hate him because he constantly tried to interfere in her matters, but she knew that he was not a rapist. However, something in her past, made her a bit afraid when men came too close.

"Rukho," she stopped him, "I'm sorry about that. What do you want?" she asked again a bit more gently.

Arjun turned and looked at her, he knew that Riya didnt wanna talk about anything, so he told her that he was hungry and looked at her pleadingly with childish eyes.

Riya felt a smile starting to form at the way his eyes were looking at her with so much hope, however she stopped her smile, went to open a drawer, took something out and gave it to him. Arjun was smiling when Riya gave her something to eat, he was so hungry. He turned to look at what she had given him. He was shocked to see that she had given him light crackers and light snacks, everything made of wholewheat. There was no way his hunger would pass by these things.

"Yeh kya hain? I'm not on dieting!" he said disappointingly.

"Why do you always have a problem! First you are hungry, and now you wont eat these things! Because Mr Rawte is not on a diet! Have you ever heard this phrase before, "Beggars cant be choosers!" so please chup chap go and eat them. I dont have anything else apart these," Riya said a bit irritated.

Arjun was annoyed at her answer, but his hunger was more important than this pointless fight, however his attention was caught by her last line, " You can eat half of them, i dont mind sharing you know," he said by giving some of the crackers to Riya.

Riya was pleasantly surprised at his concern, and said, "Nope i didnt mean that. I meant i only have light things to eat, i actually have a drawer full of them, you dont need to worry about me."

Arjun was happy and said, "You wont mind giving me more crackers then, i doubt my hunger will subside with the little you gave me?" He knew that he was exaggerating.

Riya actually smiled at this, and went to take out some more crackers and gave him to eat. She herself took some snacks and started to eat. She had hoped that now Arjun would leave her alone, but instead of that Arjun had gone and slumped himself on a chair next to her table, and started to eat.
