he has been always telling her to quit her job and leave field work coz she is not capable of doing it!! this is definitely motivating Riya to be more perfect in her job!!!

He is trying his best to make Riya a perfect member of EFT as you said.. Riya was not hestitating while shooting that motor bike guy in yesterday's episode 😊

Actually, I don't like it when Arjun behaves that way with Riya. He comes across as arrogant and big-headed. I hope one day Riya gives him a taste of his own medicine...

Excellent point, as I watched today's episode, I was thinking he is using negative reinforcements or reverse Psychology on her, he did same when he lectured her last week, he called her "Darpok" and yesterday and today Riya shot without hesitation.

He knows she really wants to be an ETF officer, and not just any ETF officer, but officer like him, where she can see beyond the obvious like him. That moment when she said that to him had brought a smile to his face, how can he forget it?

He knows that Riya needs to learn and he also knows that if he comes off as arrogant, and scold her for every little things then it will make her think twice the next time.

No wonder he is called Arjun.
