"Agar tumhara relax hona khatam hogaya tho chale Riya?" Arjun asked standing near the balcony door. Riya suddenly realized Arjun was standing right behind her.

"Yes sir," she said without turning back. He turned around and walked out of the room with Riya following him locking the door behind her.

They went to the Manager's cabin where they were introduced to Mr. Trivedi.

Pleasantries were exchanged and they sat down to discuss the blackmail calls.

"Aap ne hamein bataya nahin ki aap ko do calls aaye the ek nahin," Arjun came straight to the point.

He expected the man to fumble but nothing of that sort happened.

"Haan do calls aaye the, main isi bare mein aap se baat karna chahta tha. Unhone ek ajeeb tarah ki maang ki hain, uss doosre call mein."

"Aur woh kya hain?"

"Unhone mujhe paanch karod (5 crores) rupaiyon ko ek waterproof cover mein baandh kar ek bag mein rakh kar samundar mein dubane ko kahan'" the business man said with apprehension.

"Kya?" Arjun was perplexed. So was Riya.

"Wahin tho. Aur woh bhi kal raat ko karni hogi."

"Koyi specific jagah bataya unhone?" Arjun asked.

"Haan, bataya hain. North west mein jo sea shore hain, wahan," he said.

"Kuch aur dhamki mili aapko?"

"Maine poocha ki kyun manoo main unki baat? Meri beti tho mere paas hain, woh meri beti ko kuch nahin kar sakte'lekin'" Mr. Trivedi hadn't completed his sentence when a girl in her twenties entered the cabin. She looked a little pale.

Mr. Trivedi immediately got up and said, "Arey, Sameera beta tumhe aane ki kya zaroorat thi?"

"It's okay papa. Main ETF officers se khud milna chahti thi," she said and walked towards Arjun and Riya. Arjun and Riya looked at each other; wasn't this supposed to be under-cover or something?

Sameera Trivedi sat down on the sofa along with her father.

"Hello, I'm Sameera," she said to them.

Arjun just nodded and Riya said, "Hello. I'm Riya and this ACP Arjun."

"Shaayad ab tak papa ne aapko nahin bataya hain," she said looking at her father, "Kal raat mujhpe attack hua tha."

Arjun and Riya became more attentive.

"Raat ko teen baje ke kareeb, jab main so rahi thi tho achaanak kaanch toot ne ki avaaz hui. Maine dekha tho balcony khuli thi aur niche vase tooti hui thi'Main balcony ke darvaaze khula chodke hi so gayi thi, meri galti thi woh. I was wondering what happened when smoke started spreading in the room. It felt nauseating and dizzy. Kaise bhi karke mein kamre se baahar aa gayi. Subah kamra clean hone ke baad ek container mili thi, jispe ek note attatch kiya gaya tha. Jispe likha tha, "Trivedi, ye raha tumhare prashn ka uttar." "

Arjun and Riya walked out of the cabin after assuring Sameera and her father that everything would be fine. Nothing about the attack was mentioned to the bride groom or his family. They didn't want unnecessary panic. Arjun examined the container to find that it was a tear gas container.

"Bahut ajeeb hain ye log," Riya said, "Paison ko samundar mein dubadena?"

"Bahut chaalaak hain. Kuch aur hi mamla hain Riya. Jo dikh raha hain woh vaisa nahin hain'kuch tho'" Arjun hadn't completed his sentence when he knocked into somebody.

"Oh! I'm extremely sorry," exclaimed the woman. She put her hand on his right arm and said, "Oh my God are you fine?" She was actually carrying an open water bottle in her hand and the water fell all over Arjun. Arjun gave her a death glare. The woman didn't see it and immediately pulled out white tissues from her bag and tried to wipe out some water off his shoulder.

Before Arjun could move away from the woman, Riya snatched the tissues from her hand, "Koi baat nahin, it's okay. Main kardungi. Don't worry," she said giving the woman a bitter smile. Arjun observed the bitterness in Riya's voice. Amusing, he thought.

The woman looked at Riya with spite in her eyes. Then she looked at Arjun, "Maaf kardijiye. I wasn't looking. Main kisi aur se baat kar rahi thi and this happened," she said, but was actually checking him out. Well, Arjun's looks could do crazy things to women. He was an innocent criminal in that arena. He did look hot in those white casuals. Riya was very well experienced in resisting his looks, this was another thing she had learnt over the past few months; such a pity, the woman was a newbie at it.

Riya was now glaring at Arjun, "Get rid of her," was what she wanted him to do.

"Main theek hoon," he said firmly and moved away from her. His point was taken. The stupid frown on the woman's face was gone, replaced by a smirk, "Good," she said, shrugging, "I'm glad." She sent one final glare at Riya and Riya gave her the same bitter sweet smile.

"Sir, we'll discuss the case over breakfast. Pehle aap change karlenge'?" Riya asked still miffed at that woman.

"Tum chalo main aata hoon," he said extending his hand for the keys.

"Yes, sir." She said handing him the keys of their room.

"Aap yahaan akeli aayi hain?" Rishab was asking Riya who was trying to decide what she would eat for breakfast.

"Mr. Sethi, nahin. Main yahaan apne pati ke saath aayi hoon," she said trying to escape from him. Why did I even help this guy? She cursed herself.

He was standing very near to the poolside and talking on the phone. She was walking towards the diner through a way near the pool. Arjun hadn't come yet. So she went near the pool. She was walking towards him and he was walking towards the pool absent minded. She realized that the pool was too deep that side. Yet, the man had no idea he was going to slip any moment, because now he had his back towards the pool. He slipped and Riya pulled him and saved him, digging her own grave.

"Oh! Honeymoon ke liye?" he asked again.

"Ji?"

"I mean yahaan Mr. Trivedi ki beti ki shaadi bhi hone wali hain. Tho socha mehman bhi ho sakte ho na'" he said giving her a smile.

"Ji, dono ke liye'" Riya said praying to God, to send Arjun right away.

"Tho aapke pati kahaan hain?"

"Aa rahe honge," Riya said taking a plate. She wanted to wait for Arjun but she had get to rid of this guy. Unfortunately the man grabbed a plate too. Riya got herself some bread and butter, a cup of cornflakes with milk in it. He got himself just cornflakes but a bigger cup.

She went to an empty table as fast as possible and sat down. Her only mistake was selecting a table for three; she realized it a little too late. "Shit!" she thought.

"I hope your husband wouldn't mind if I joined you for breakfast'" he said sitting in a chair beside her. She gave him the are-you-crazy look. But the guy ignored her.

Arjun entered the diner to find Riya sitting with another guy and having breakfast. (He changed into a black shirt that looked stunning with his jeans. He had a great wardrobe that he never really explored. Thanks, to this case he got a chance to do so.)

He was angry now, in fact fuming. Why? Only God knew why. "Ye ladki bhi na...bilkul naa samajh hain. Kisi ke saath bhi breakfast ke liye baith jaana? Kya soch rahi hain?" he thought as he approached her. He saw the guy smiling and laughing. He wanted wring the guy's neck and break all his thrity two teeth. "Lekin kyun?" he thought again, this time a little confused about his feelings; for the first time after a long time. "Nahin, daant tho Riya ko padni chahiye. Taali ek haath se nahin bajti hain'" he denied his feelings once again. He had given himself an explanation about his feelings long ago that gave him peace of mind. He would let things be, he had decided and would stick to it.

Riya saw Arjun and her face brightened, "Aagaye Arjun si'" she immediately corrected herself. Arjun felt a little calm when he realized that she was happy to see him.

"Aagaye Arjun, mere pati," she said to Rishab. She then got up from her place and went to Arjun. She came very close to him and whispered in his ear, "Sir, kahin aur chalte hain, please." Arjun understood what she meant. He gave the man a glare. He held Riya's hand and took her to the table she was sitting at. Riya looked at Arjun and then at their hands. She was confused.

"Aap?" Arjun asked.

"I'm Rishab Sethi. Tho aap hain inke pati," he stood up extending his hand for a hand shake. Arjun too extended his hand, but only to pick up Riya's mobile that was on the table. He handed it over to her. "Maaf kijiye, hamein jaana hoga. Lekin aap apna breakfast complete karlijiye," saying he walked out of there with Riya.

When Arjun and Riya were a little far from him, the guy said loudly, "Hey! Thanks for saving me!"

Riya felt disgusted.

"Jaanta tha tumne bhi kuch kiya hoga. Taali ek haath se nahin bajti hain," Arjun said after they walked out of the place.

"Kya matlab hain sir? Woh pool mein gir raha tha, maine usse rok liya. Bas'" Riya was furious.

"He's drunk Riya. Tho tum wahan se kyun nahin chali aayi?"

"Jaanti thi sir. Usne apna naam pataya aur mujhe pata chalgaya ki he's drunk. Maine usse peecha chudane ki koshish kiya, lekin woh jaa hi nahin rahaa tha. Main use warn karne hi waali thi ki aap aagaye, okay?" she was angry, so she just turned away from him and walked ahead of him. Arjun shook his head and followed her.
