I am not sure this is just a guess.

If you can remember Jai confessed to Rani (The day RanVeer got married ) a girl got pregnant because of him. And he tried to bribe that girl.

As Jai Nandini 's wedding is going to happen ,and Rani Sa won't stop it any cost now. She will not listen to RanVeer .If Rani remembers this confession ,then only can stop the wedding by bringing that child abd proving that child is Jai's by doing a DNA test.

I am repeating not sure yet. Just guessed on BTS and all.

Sometimes new entry might end up marrying Nandini .
