They have this pattern with Veer that they directly show his action. I know it's wrong because audiences need justifications. But personally I like it that way because it allow my to analyze the character, which I like.

Here, I think the build up started since he went with her to the lawyer. That time Rish predicted this and after seeing his desperation in that scene I agreed with her. Also, it is the only thing Rani talks about, and he always gets emotional when she does. Even at the birthday party he was so affected when she said that my only wish is my father to be released.

His talk with Ranisa. His face was robitic. He had no emotions. He is just following Ranisa's orders because that is what he always does. But when it comes to Rani, his emotions overflow.

The final straw was Rani's condition, and he held himself responsible for it. He was so shaken in the hospital, his voice and his body..

That last look he gave in the operation room. His determination. He knew what he need to do for Rani. At that moment, Rani only needed her father, so he gave him to her. He can think of solutions later. But he has to do this now for Rani

Bro I woke up. Watched the episode all excited even though I had a migraine and I was in pitch darkness with 0 noise. I was kinda let down.

I really expected more from Veer and definitely more Veer and Rani time on screen. This has already been mentioned on the group already, but the direction was kinda loose on this episode. They had the scope to do so much more but really didn't. The way Rani woke up within 10mins after getting such a deep injury...but in Baliya it took her 4 episodes to properly stand on her feet after 1 stone on her head...like no logic.

Regardless though, even though I wanted more, I still think Fahmaan ans Megha did their best. Its not like they can easily challenge the PH and the makers of the show.

Exactly my point. Doesn't make sense. If it was a riot then I'd understand but no, the attack was only meant for Ramu but Rani also got hurt trying to protect him BUT HOW DID EVERYONE IN THAT AREA GET HURT???

Megha n Fahmaan can give so much, pity they are restricted to enact 1-2 emotions cry yell anger

Agreed Yaso! If only they took some screen time away from Ranisa and gave it to our Veer, we could really see him through 😆 I just want to see more of Rani and Veer.

I like analyzing characters too. But when it's left too open ended, it becomes rather frustrating. For instance, yes we see he wants Rani to be happy, but taking blame like that is a big deal. What about his promise to Ranisa about not letting Rajawat's name go down? Did he just assume it's fine because he is adopted? Was there really no other way? Did he talk to Vikram? Did he talk to Ramadheer? If none of that happen, we should have at the very least gotten to see his inner turmoil?

I, like you did, assumed seeing Rani struggling like that was the final straw. I also assumed he took an abrupt decision, fine. But if only we could see that turmoil, that frustration, that care on screen, it would have made the whole scene just so so beautiful. He doesn't even have to say anything, just through his expressions he can express that. But even that felt rather lose. That's why I am saying it's not executed properly.

At the end of the day, I watch the show for Rani, Veer and their story. I love and enjoy the side characters like Vikram, Birju, Kiara and Jai. But the main story is RanVeer's and I just want their scenes to be perfect. They don't have to tell us exactly how a character is feeling at every moment. But expression and execution matters.
