If the story did have to go this way, they really didn't need to waste so much time on the kabaddi match and everything else. They could have just shown this on the second day since there is zero growth in the characters. Veer is still the same as what he was on the first day of the Balia trip. RanVeer moments and all are meaningless, it was just to get us viewers hooked.

I also realized how Ranisa uses Veer to fulfill her own ego. Her other kids don't always listen to her like Veer does. She knows she can treat Veer however she wants and he will still crave for her love and do anything for her. She is a vile woman.

The other scenario is take her to Jaipur start crying in locked room and tell Rani he lost Ranisa because of her and she has no place in his room or life. Send her to servant quarters back to spending time with Kiara and listening to Ranisa spewing hatred and hurtful words on Rani every time he sees her.
