At Kothari mansion Moi baa is seen burning up Rahi’s interview call letter angrily.
Gautam meets a stranger n is seen paying him hefty amounts. Gautam wants to use him against Rahi to take revenge for slapping him .
At Shah house Rahi thrilled to see Pari’s creation , a pretty yellow lehenga for haldi ceremony .pari is happy Rahi liked her simple lehenga . Everyone jokes on wedding rituals and they have fun with Baa. Rahi tells everyone how after marriage, she n Prem will go to Mumbai n focus on their careers .
At Kothari house Khyati appreciates Meera’s choice of yellow designer lehenga for Rahi’s haldi . Moti baa declares that Rahi will have to wear dresses for various functions as per Kothari family standards . She can’t wear ordinary clothes like Shah family .
Parag is asked his views on choice of lehenga , Parag tells them to take Prem’s views since Parag’s opinion did not matter anymore . Prem arrives and states Rahi will look pretty in what ever she wears . He tells Moti baa that he refuses to live under restrictions , that’s why he never wanted to return to this house. He informs them that after marriage Rahi n Prem will go to Mumbai to complete their degree and seek job .
Parag n Moti baa are shocked n angry . Parag complains that their motive for getting him married to Rahi has failed to keep him in the family .
At mandir Pandit Ji tells Anupama that the Pooja and entire ritual of Brahman bhoj was completed very nicely , he assures he will inform Vasundhara ji .
He hands her dhaaga for Rahi’s good luck n keeping her away from harm. Secretly the guy who is sent by Gautam keeps an eye on Anupama . He purposely collides with her . Anupama recognises the guy n tries to recollect where she has seen him earlier .
At Shah house, they receive the expensive designer lehenga for Haldi from Kotharis. They all are stumped discussing the several lakhs that have gone to buy this one lehenga . Baa laments Kotharis are spending money mindlessly while Shah family is short of cash n they have to mortgage their house. Ishaani urges Rahi to wear this lehenga as it was beautiful. Kinjal states Kotharis could have send this lehenga earlier , then poor Pari’s efforts would’t have gone wasted . Rahi assures she will wear Pari’s lehenga only . Pari feels her creation is very simple , Kotharis bahu should wear that heavy designer lehenga only . Rahi states she n Prem wanted simple arrogate hence she will wear simple lehenga only .
Mahi stares n admires the designer lehenga n yearns for it . At Kothari house, Prem is excited about the dress that’s been chosen by Meera Chachi and Anil and Badshah joke with Prem on his haldi dress. Prem looks forwards to seeing Rahi look beautiful in that designer yellow lehenga .
At Shah house Anupama is seen grinding haldi into paste , she looks tired n overworked .
At haldi ceremony , Poddars and Shahs are waiting for the arrival of Rahi . Anupama informs Rahi has gone to mandir . She will be arriving on scooty . Kothwris are annoyed that bride will arrive on scooty n not in a car . Moti baa is further annoyed as Rahi arrives in a simple lehenga n not their designer lehenga . Moti baa and Parag give Rahi mouthfuls . Rahi tries to explain her n her sister’s feelings . Moti baa, Parag, Meera share their side .. how much time n money they spend on selecting lehenga .,
Anupama senses trouble and interferes, she assures Rahi will wear both lehengas . First she wore her sister’s lehenga , afterwords she will wear the Sasural waala lehenga .
All agree .
Haldi ritual starts , various customs are followed . Rahi asks Parag to be her father n not FIL, she wanted to be his daughter . She missed her father n wanted Parag as father .everyone gets emotional and Parag blesses Rahi .
After the blessings Rahi goes off to change lehenga . Prem gets excited to see her in designer lehenga n secretly follows her .
Anupama notices presence of the shady looking guy in the haldi function, she gets scared .
