On the day of engagement Rahi is dressing up and doing Mahi ‘s make up . Mahi is looking pretty , Anupama comes to check and does nazar utarna. Mahi notices Prem’s name in mehendi in Rahi’s hand . She creates hungama over it . She claims the mehendi was too dark coloured , even darker than Mahi’s . She accuses Rahi of not trying to remove it on the contrary adding lemon and sugar to make it darker. Rahi protests that she did try to ash it away but it’s was not going to, and it’s getting darker on its own . Mahi refuses to believe her . Anupama is appalled as Mahi picks up a black marker pen and blackens the “Prem” written on Rahi’s hand . Anupama scolds Mahi for over reacting . Rahi is warned by Mahi not to remove the black colour until the name goes away . Rahi agrees and goes away looking upset. Anupama is shocked at Mahi’s behaviour.
All gather at the venue , dressed in black n white . They have fun and masti and dancing n singing . Everyone is taken aback as Babuji returns , blesses everyone and Baa also seeks his blessings . He joins baa in the dancing n singing .
Prem has his eyes only on Rahi .
Rahi performs the ritual of putting one garland on the would be bride n groom to mark new beginnings together .
They then stars the sagayi ritual and Anupama asks Rahi to get the engagement rings , in her room Rahi yearns for Prem and dreams about him,, lost in her dream she puts on the engagement ring and it gets stuck , she tries to pull it out but fails ,
Mahi gets agitated as Rahi takes so long to get the rings . Anupama calms Mahi and asks Pari to go check what’s taking so long .Pari then tries to help Rahi remove the ring but fails . Prem meets Rahi and pleads her t’ rethink about their relationship. He is hurting too .he helps her get the ring off . . Anupama also comes to check on Rahi and is shocked to find her with Prem . Prem, Pari and Rahi manage to hide the issue from Anupama and rearrange the sagayi rings on the tray and proceed . Anupama wonders if they three were hiding from her .
She recollects Janki Ben asking her to be a good mother n see through the facade the the kids were putting up .
At the engagement Prem and Mahi are about to exchange the rings when the ring accidentally falls down n rolls at Rahi’s feet . She hands the ring back to Prem .
Ansh announces the dance and masti on the ocassion .

At the sagayi venue all are happily dancing away. Prem notices the light decoration scaffolding is about to fall on Rahi . He rushes to save her life as she is scared . Rahi asks him why he saved her life , she is relieved . Prem hugs her tightly and states he had tk save her , how would he live without her . He loved her . Rahi also hugs Prem n states she loved him too . Everyone watches the two hugging n confessing their love .Mahi and everyone else is stunned
