Saw an interview of Dalljiet Kaur on Pinkvilla!! What an inspirational woman.

The makers of Anupamaa could learn a thing or two from her. Two losers for a husband and that girl is still up and standing.

The way her voice breaks when mentioning her pain. This is the actress who has always managed to tear up the audience with her on-screen performances. But when her voice was breaking while talking about her trauma, the level of pain in her eyes is unexplainable. I didn't know how to react man. I always teared up when she used to cry on screen, but this level of pain was something else entirely.

I ponder how does one deal with this level of heartbreak.

But her clarity of her situation, the ability to handle it, and the competence she has displayed in standing up for herself is commendable.

Woh ladki itna tootne ke baad khud ko jod rahi hai aur yahi cheez usse banayegi.

You know Anupamaa is supposed to be about this. That's why this show had become the number one show of the nation.

But after this leap, a third disappointing leap, to be honest, it's evident that the makers of the show have completely lost the plot.

The insane trolling for copying Akshara Nair's scene, not just the scene, the whole story. Not to mention the level of disappointment at the lead pair casting.

It's like they are saying, "We're done with the audience; we won't take effort to deliver you any content. At least anything of value."

The girl playing Naira's equivalent and Kartik's equivalent guy are fresh faces but have no charm. I love Adhya as a character so much, both the Adhyas are my favorites, but this girl I can never see any Adhya traits in her. Don't care about the guy; both should have been cast as a side character. Way below mediocre.

I used to love little Naira and Naksh so much. Not only the grown-ups were cast well, but their stories and pairings were great too.

What has DKP achieved with this casting?

The only casting I liked were Ansh and Pari, and they are not even leads. Ansh ko phir lead bana do usse achcha.

Getting back to the show, I had always been an admirer of the immense courage Anupamaa displayed in choosing herself. Once a feminist show has now become the butt of jokes and is used to look down upon feminism.

Fans complain because they have expected something from you. They'll find some new show to watch and follow. But what about you?

I ask the makers, are they happy with what they have achieved?

And I don't mean TRPs, fake reviews, and fake fan adoration or whatever. Khud ko bada samajhna band karo, grow up guys! No one cares about your 2+ rating when your content level has gone so low; it is unacceptable.

It has come to a point where one wonders, when does passion for work stop? Is it when you get too comfortable or is it when your ego keeps you on a high horse.

Anyway, back to the show, this show was really supposed to be something - women need something, something to hold on to, some story to look up to, something to get inspired from. But you gave it to us and took it back, and it is really sad.

any uneducated village wom,an is more empowered than anupama

I know maids who came from village who divorced her cheating hubby and brought up her 4 kids all alone her kids were very small like eldest was 8 and youngest was still in her stomach. She had never gone to work but her hubby cheated her so she left him did not take any money alimony as hes some carpenter or plumber etc

Compared to such woman or even in covid any young woman become widows with small kids and are going out to work first time in life to take care of kids

These are woman who are real inspiration not anupama kind of doormat to ex hubby and ex in laws and cunning manipulative woman to anuj and his family

If anupama was a good person she would have been loving and caring to anuj and malvika and adhya too like shes to dolly ben, vanraj his parents and her kids

I do not like ppl differentiating bet blood and adopted kids kids are kids simple

Same way husband is husband if anupama was worshipping vanraj although hes demon towards her why not worship anuj whose a good man

What is message to society and viewers from anupama? Worship toxic ex hubby his parents and abusive kids but ill treat the good hubby anuj and his sister malvika and his kid adhya just bec shes adopted

Already in asia blood kids matter a lot yet if you show like this no one will adopt kids of orphanage

Even anuj was shown misbehaving with his adopted family with malvika, gk kaka ignoring them letting them get abused etc why? What message it sent that never adopt a son from orphanage he will ill treat your family ike anuj kapadiya

Someone like daljeet kaur or shewtha tiwari are much more empowered and real heroines than an anupama joshi ever

Anupamaa isn't meant to be inspirational or to be compared with the numerous instances of women who bravely battled adversity in their lives. Not at all.

Anupamaa depicts the story of an unpaid maid and her unflinching loyalty and devotion towards her abusers. Despite the relentless taunts, abuses and manipulation she faces, she continues to provide free service to her ex-in-laws, regardless of her marital status or her physical and mental state.

Think about it. When the show started, she was a slave at Shah Shanty and now when at least 2 decades have passed as per their timeline, she is still a slave at Shah Shanty. Still receiving the same taunts and insults. And she's even training a junior version of herself to be their next unpaid maid. A lifetime of being at the receiving end and yet this is her best option?

Why is that? She went out in the world, had one failed venture after another (due to her incompetence and faulty decision making), even shut herself up away from the world for a few years only to realise that her true happiness lies in being at the feet of her abusers. This is the exact regressive message that Despicable Deepa and Rotten Rajan are giving out through this shitshow.

It is a disservice to compare absolutely anyone who has faced tough situations and managed to persevere, pick themselves up and move forward in life, with this wastebasket called Anupamaa Shah.
